Samsung 30Q 15 A 3000 mAh 18650 Battery

I ordered this for use within a box mod, which had length requirements. Hence the flat-top version.This battery arrived quickly and was well packaged in its own cardboard box. I plugged it into the box mod to check the charge level, and it was about three-quarters full. Apparently this is the best way of storing batteries long term – it does less damage that way.I know others have found their batteries have shipped with low charge in them – I don’t know if this is maybe a batch issue, as mine was fine and shipped with the right amount of charge.It works fine in the box mod, and I’m now about three cycles in and seem to be getting the expected amount of charge from it each time.

Bought four, one of them tested to 2500ma, but another charge cycle saw it up to 3000ma.Had previously bought identical ‘genuine’ batteries from ebay (for half the price) but they only tested at 1800ma. So at least these are as described.Photos show initial test, with one at 2500 and then subsequent test at ~2900

These look, charge and perform exactly the same as all the other samsung 30q batteries I have purchased from other websites that I trust not to send me fakes. The only difference really was a slightly lower than normal charge when I received them, as other reviewers have pointed out, coming in at around 3.5v instead of the usual 3.7-3.8 or so... Since all lithium-ion cells slowly lose their charge over time I would just knock it up to these sitting around a bit longer since leaving the factory than other ones I have received in the past.Because 3.5v is still a long ways off from the danger zone that can do any real damage, and as these have performed as expected over the last month and a half I don't really have an issue with this, but I guess some might. Given the benefits of amazon prime (and the fact that I needed these in a rush) over the sometimes £3.50 2-4+ day delivery some vape sites have, I am more than happy :)

So it's a 15A 3000mAh battery which is perfect for what I wanted, up to 100W vaping supporting SS coils down it 0.18ohms!Please do research on what you need before you buy as battery ignorance & subsequent abuse can result in battery failure. Batteries have built in safety features like venting, but they can explode if used incorrectly. Vape safe people.

Got 2 of these to replace some ageing 18650, didn't realise how much better these would be.Charged and they last almost double the time of the old, 2 days now and just got to 20%Just to note, no Samsung name on battery when it arrives, but peel off the white sticker and Samsung details below.

This battery is rubbish! My Vape mod shows as no battery, however when I start charging the battery shows as being half charged.It doesn’t last even 2 hrs!Get a different brand or from another supplier!

Got these battery at a storage charge of 3.5v, charged them to full 4.2v and they received a further 2550mah of charge, given that they were not empty to start with I would fully expect these to take 3000mah of charge from empty, very happy to have found genuine batteries at a decent price.Postage was also fairly fast.

Rubbish, Worked good at first, would last a day and a half. After handful of charges they barely last half a day before running flat.Avoid.
