Joiner for hose
Good sturdy product which comes in a 2 pack. This is doing the job really well and the water leak has now stopped. I've had this product in use for only a few weeks, so cannot comment on its longevity, but it is very good value and this was delivered very quickly.

Does the job if you fit them correctly
I got others like this and they always leaked, hence this purchase. But in doing so I found that you really have to push them hard into the female hose connector so they are tightly butted up against the end. This cured the leaks I was having when I assumed that the first "click" was all that was required and then found they seemed a bit loose and leaked - silly me!

so often get things way before I actually need to use them like in this instance
Arrived on Saturday but Amazon expects me to have tried it and used it by Monday - really!!!! Disabled so do a lot of shopping online as unable to get out nowadays. I have a 'wish list' for things I need to get for the home/garden/car etc, so often get things way before I actually need to use them like in this instance. It will be Summer before my gardener will probably need to join the two already brought expanding hoses to enable plant watering but I'm sure they will do what's required.

Worked a treat
Having bought a flexible hose, I found that it did not expand as much as I expected and when in use it quickly reduced in length (probably to our relatively low water pressure), so I bought a different one (deal of the day) and needed a double male connector. This one proved very effective, with no loss of water at the connection, so I can now get down to the bottom of my long garden with ease.
