Good product and good price

My Holy Grail ! I have used this product for 20 years and refuse to switch. It makes my skin look flawless every day. It's lightweight but provides perfect coverage. Even as my skin has aged over two decades this formula never cakes.My skin is fair and I select 40 fawn.

This is my favourite foundation, and I don’t know if my shade or the product itself has been discontinued, as it’s getting more and more difficult to buy. It used to be called dream satin liquid foundation, it changed its name a few years back to dream radiant liquid foundation. The formula changed allegedly but I didn’t notice any difference. I have tried both cheap and high end foundations, and this is the best one I’ve found so far, in terms of the price, colour match and the way it suits my skin. I am a very pale cool toned girl, and this fits the bill. It’s a medium natural coverage, and can be built up if needed. I have combination skin that is quite sensitive, and this seems to suit it. No stinging issues, and it doesn’t seem to have a scent. When you first open it, it’s worth shaking it up before pumping it out as the last few times I got this and pumped it out the bottle it seemed really watery. When it comes out properly it’s a liquid but not too runny. I use my fingers rather than a sponge or brush, and it goes on with ease and blends in without too much effort. It’s not super long lasting, but topping with a powder does help. I think using a primer or moisturiser beforehand would be a good idea, as sometimes it can cling to the odd dry patch or settle in to the fine lines under my eyes. However it’s not something I’ve tried. The only thing I don’t like about this is the packaging. Firstly it comes with a lid that always falls off. I always lose the lid from these, so it would be ideal if the pump had an open/closed twist mechanism. Secondly, as you can see, I posted a photo of all my old bottles over the last couple of years. You’ll notice they don’t look completely empty. However unfortunately with the packaging they stop pumping completely when there is still foundation inside, and the photo is an example of this. It’s a glass bottle and the pump lid cannot be removed. I will keep using this though, as I really like it. It’s just a bonus that it’s such good value.

I have dry skin. This is absolutely ideal for me. It does not cause any dryness. It does not bunch up. It just melts into the skin. Its only SLIGHTLY radiant, very natural. Gives a lovely even skin base. I would say its light to medium coverage, but more medium. It glides on really easily. I use a kabuki brush. It has no scent which is great as scents really irritate me. The only negative for me is that it DOES transfer. So its not super durable. But I set it with powder and sometimes setting spray, which helps. But I would be careful wearing white with it on as it would rub onto your clothes possibly! However overall, when I wear this I feel confident. So if you're on the fence, I would give it a go!

Currently my favourite foundation, great coverage and sets nicely. My skin is on the dryer side, however this foundation shows no sign of dryness whilst worn.

I bought this as a substitute for Superstay 24 which was not available. It is very thin and watery, it does not offer good coverage at all for my older skin. Instead it barely covers anything, you can see redness and imperfections through it, even with two coats. I tried using a powder under it, which helped a little. But its not really what I want to be doing, adding layers to my make up. I just want one product covers all like super stay 24. I found that it barely lasted a few hours. If you are looking for a lightweight foundation with a subtle hint of colour then this is for you. If you want to cover redness or any inperfection then this is not for you. I bought this in shade 010 Ivory the same as my other maybelline foundation and it is the same colour.

Have used Maybelline for years. The texture of this foundation is silky smooth and it has medium coverage. Overall, a very good quality product. Recommended.
