How easy is it to fit box to the A frame on a trailer? Are there pre drilled holes in the base?

Undrilled but easy to drill through the double layer of thermoplastic and I used square/u bolts with plates and nuts to attach mine to the a-frame of the trailer. Very easy even for basic diy. No fixings came with the box I ordered these separate. I would also recommend piping some sealant around the wholes where you attach the bolts through to maintain a water-tight seal. Hope that helps.

How thick is the base? Trying to work out what length u-bolts to get.

Depends on what you are fixing to ? I used 2x2 box to make a frame and use some 8 mm 3 inch long bolts .... thickness of box’s is about 3-4mm thick I’d say .... use a wide washer on the ends of the bolts

Great Box for Trailers

Great box, nice and compact to fit on the A Frame of my Smart car trailer. It will hold the battery and control box nicely for my Powermover motors. Well constructed and a good d lock. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Good product!

Good product and not a bad price.However, does not come with fixtures / fittings so you have to drill through the bottom and bolt in place for yourself (which is quite simple if you have the correct tools and hardware).That said, it locks well, is well made and very sturdy.And it fits very well on my Ifor Williams HB505R horse trailer, so definitively a thumbs up from me!

Strong and solid

Very strong and solid. We mounted it to the a frame of my car trailer to hold all the straps and gloves. Bonus it has a lock with secure lid. Very good recommend to anyone.Very quick delivery as well.
