Perfect for the job!
I bought these for my ASD daughter who needed steel toecap boots for college, she lives in Converse trainers and said, these were perfect! Comfortable to wear and really light weight! They look good too!

Unbeatable value for money
Fantastic premium quality work trainers, look alot like converse but more rugged. Matt black with a steel toe, red stitching aswell. Comfy shoe with style. I'm using them with the motorbike. Well worth the money ! Looks a lot more expensive than they are

Look great, super comfy, just not for life.
I bought these about a year ago and wore the hell out of them practically every day - super comfortable, really flexible and easy to drive in, but you pay for the flexibility and I've completely destroyed the heel in them in doing so. The insoles are awful and wore out within 4-5 months and have no support whatsoever, but as safety boots, they work well as being reasonably water resistant, reasonably slip proof and pretty hard wearing for light duty work. I'm in uni studying Performance Car Technology and get a few hours of workshop time a week, and with these I could drive down, wear them every day without having to change for a set of clomping S3 safety boots and drive home still wearing them, unfortunately as I say that comfort has it's downsides as I wore them to death, I'd buy another pair but don't expect them to last like proper Docs or Dewalts.

Fantastic Designer Boot. Top quality
So happy to find small sizes at such a good price and design. The insoles and ankles are cushioned really well. Especially for me when I have to be on my feet all day. These really look smart and it was a lovely surprise to get a red pair of laces as well. My only downside is how thin the laces are. I can't see them lasting long and will probably fray easily with the top eyes. The outer sole are just like converse. If anyone has had converse before you will know these soles don't last long and wear really fast. So you should of expected fast wear and tear on the sole before you bought them. The issue is these are so comfortable I'm not only wearing them for work but also as a main shoe. Whereas my other work boots hurt so much I couldn't wait to get them off. I have had more expensive boots wear much faster than these. My top tip is try not to wear them too much if you want them to last. I always have two pairs of work boots and swap them round for what am doing that day.Photos added on 11/03/16Boots bought on 11/11/15

Comfortable but durability questionable ?
Had these for a few months now and overall happy with the fit and comfort but have had a few issues too.The coating over the steel toecaps seems to get damaged easier than I would like and the front of both boots now look rather beat up. The rest of the boot however looks fairly new.The other issue I had was a few days ago the laces snapped in half completely when I was tightening them up, so I replaced them with more durable laces. For the price I would've hoped for slightly better durability as at this rate they won't last a year, but they are the most comfortable boots I've owned and get me through 12 hour shifts with no discomfort at all.edit : 09-04-17 10 moths later and the bottom of both boots has all but fallen off, still stand by the comfort of the boots ( no blisters/rubbing etc. very comfy ) but gonna be looking for a more durable boot this time around.I took very good care of them, only worn indoors and kept in a locker when not working, very strange that the bottom edges came apart just from walking around, never had any incidents that would have ripped them.if your in a job that requires safety boots but not alot of standing/walking these would be perfect, comfortable and very breathable but i wouldn't recommend for anything more intense unless you don't mind forking out £40 for new boots every year.

2+ year IN USE REVIEW
Had these boots for 2 years+, iv used them for carpentry and joinery college (bench indoors) - iv used them for a student job (working at sainsburys). - they have had heavy use! Now - iv dropped many things on them, they've survived mud, water, rain, wood chips, constant abuse. From all of this The only damage is "scuffs and chips out of the toe of the shoe" which arnt too noticiable. - every few months I service them and remove laces + brush them out. Recently I used swarfega and a toothbrush and cleaned them thoroughly <- I have been asked if Iv bought new boots. After 2 years they look nearly new, the sole has worn well (plenty of tread left), the insides are worn as expected (partial internal wear), nothing is hanging off, no rubber cracking around toe movement, no fabric creasing/deterioration. The only problem is that I found the original laces don't last long. my British knights casual shoes are 2 months old and in worse condition. These are the best shoes iv ever bought. give them a bit of TLC every once in a while and they will last - I predict I'll get another 1-2 Years of use before they start getting tired. OVERALL - I'd recommend them to everyone and iv even been asked where I bought them (yes other people have bought them in my class) - best buy. Seriously recommend for people in construction who want casual comfort with great toe protection!
