Yamaha Reface YC Professional Synth Keyboard

I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and weight of this tiny keyboard. It's more weighty than you think so doesn't slide around everywhere while playing it. The sound is great on all organ types, although the vibrato is horrendous unless you just stick to the vox types. So if you're expecting vb3 or genuine Hammond scanner vibrato this won't cut it. Overdrive and percussion are great and the Leslie SIM is very useable. Polyphony is amazing not that you'd be using two hands on such a tiny keyboard but it is possible. Even drops the 1' drawbar when using percussion as it should do, leaving fast registration changes at the touch on a button. Has a lovely reverb too. What's more it can be midi'd up to a full size keyboard very easily if you struggle with the mini keys. They do take some getting used to but perfectly playable. The octave shift is another great feature. Give one a try, if you don't like it send it back. Nothing to lose really. I've been playing Hammond organs since is was 11 yrs old, I'm now 63 so you could say I speak from experience.

Great keyboard.

Brilliant sounds. The Reface is professional quality. The controls allow a vast amount of variations on the 5 organ voices. The H organ is beautiful, Church organ sounds all the way. The other voices are great too. Big sounds from a small keyboard and small cost. This is the sixth Yamaha instrument I have bought and like the others it doesn't disappoint.

searching for Farfisa sounds for recording and this things delivers , needs a bit of eq ing to tame the piercing treble , but really good authentic sound.

Une émulation très impressionnante de l'orgue Hammond. Petit bémol à contourner: pas de connexion dédiée pour déclencher la leslie au pied (il faut utiliser une pédale midi et le CC communiqué dans le mode d'emploi n'est pas correct - fastidieux, mais ça fonctionne;-). Les petites touches du clavier restent très agréables à jouer en clavier d'apoint.

Imprescindible para todo aquel que le apasione el sonido de órganos de los 70. Hammond, Vox, Farfisa, Age Tone japonés o Yamaha. Maravilloso los matices armónicos de los drawbar y lo portadle que es. Además va también a pilas para llevártelo donde quieras y con salida de auriculares. Más por menos no se puede pedir.
