Aptamil Comfort Milk 800g

Nice product. Helped my new born with his colic issues.

As expected

I tried this as Aptamil number 1 made my little one quite constipated. I breast fed until 14 weeks and then switched to Aptamil 1, within about 72 hours of being completely formula fed my little man became constipated. I changed to this which made a big difference. However it can send them the other way! In the end i had to use comfort milk morning and night and regular formula in between. After a few weeks i tried Hungry baby milk (Aptamil 2) and that didn't make my son constipated at all so didn't need the comfort milk at all.This comfort milk doesn't dissolve half as well as the other ones and you are often left with lumps sitting in the bottom of your bottles/teats. It dissolves better if the water is hotter and you cool it after mixing. I also found it much cheaper in Tesco.The postage was a bit slower than i expected and I paid nearly a tenner more here as i hadn't found it anywhere else initially!!But it helped my son and that is all that i care about really!

Our baby is colicy and has trouble digesting his food (he has a lot of gas which disturbs his feeding and sleeping) so we thought we'd try this. Beforehand we were using regular Aptamil and expected this to be similar. But he would not touch this milk and when we tried it ourselves discovered that it tastes completely different - V sour and bitter as if a chemical has been added (which we discovered afterwards is exactly what causes the taste). An expensive mistake and we have gone straight back to our original milk and put this in the bin
