First of all I'm not an audiophile just a music lover and as a music lover I can assure you this thing is great. I actually bought this for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves it. I previous owned a UE Boom 2 which I upgraded to the UE Megaboom 3. The Wonderboom doesn't sound as good as the Megaboom 3 but when you take into consideration the size and price difference it's easy to understand why. For such a small speaker the sound is very loud, it's rich and it packs some bass. The bass is not room shaking however it is clean and not muddy. The mids are also for it's size relatively crisp and clear. It's good enough to use it outside when having a barbecue. For a music lover like me who likes to listen to music whilst cooking, drawing, in the shower, this thing is great you can take it around with you. It's not too big and not too heavy making it very portable. Overall the Wonderboom 3 is great, the battery life is very good, lasting around 8-10 hours depending on how loud you use it. Excellent connectivity with a bluetooth range of around 100 feet. I love it's simple design and I think it looks quite nice and stylish. It's got excellent build quality, quite robust, strong and durable. Whilst the Wonderboom is great, there are a few things that would've made this bluetooth speaker absolutely perfect for me. For one I wish it had a mic/speaker phone function like was on the UE boom 2, it was quite handy being able to take a call and talk on the bluetooth speaker. I wish it had an audio jack for wired connectivity, the only way to connect to the speaker is via bluetooth. Finally it would've been great if the charging cable was usb type c. However in spite of all this, it's still 5 stars from me, it's an excellent product for what it is and it is extremely good value for money (especially on sale). I highly recommend it. This was bought as a gift and it was very, very well received. The sound quality is fantastic for something so small and reasonably-priced, it's surprisingly loud, clearly very durable, well-made and the design is cool. There isn't much functionality, it's very basic stuff, but it does the job. Excellent battery life. My one and only criticism is that it lacks any indication of the remaining battery level; I have the (more expensive) Boom 3 which literally speaks the battery level to you when you hold down the volume buttons, or you can see it on the Ultimate Ears app, but the Wonderboom isn't compatible with the app and doesn't have the spoken volume feature. Still, at this price and with the long better life it's no great loss.

I was given one of these as a gift last year and noticed that it can be paired with another to provide a better stereo output. More on that in a second. On its own this speaker is excellent: the sound quality is great, it’s robust, easy to connect and the battery lasts for ages. It certainly punches well above its weight; it is a stocky little speaker, but that’s no bad thing given the resultant sound, including surprisingly deep bass even at higher volumes. It’s been a great accompaniment to cooking, camping trips, shower/bath time and dinner time. Even on its own the quality of stereo is impressive. However, when paired with another (and it must be the same type of speaker) the sound gets even better, filling a room with high-quality stereo audio. A great piece of kit at a very good price.

The item arrived and I was so excited as it comes in a lovely sleek black box with general use and maintenance warnings and a link to visit the website for user setup instructions. It also comes with a USB charger note: will need a plug to connect the USB to the power. My iPhone plug was used for this. It required one press of a button to turn it on and one press to make it discoverable to my phone via Bluetooth and that's it. You can control the music coming out of the speaker using your iPhone or there is a button at the top to skip songs. I also didn't realise that the plus and minus design (I thought it was a pretty picture) - are actually volume controls. The volume and bass are amazing and this is very loud for such a small speaker. I've not even tried maximum volume for fear my neighbours will hear my music. This is better than some very expensive 3D speakers. As it's waterproof I had no issues taking it into my hot tub spa as it's difficult to hear any music when the bubbles are on- so this is perfect. It arrived quickly and at first it may seem pricey for a speaker- but it is well worth the money. I just wish I'd got one earlier!

I bought this to replace our CD player which had packed in. As we're limited to the amount of sockets around the house I wanted a wireless speaker which was battery operated and which I could pair with our computer and my phone. I admit to being a technological numpty so it was a voyage of discovery but once I'd managed to get all our CDs into our music library on the computer using i Tunes and then syncing my phone we were up and running. The speaker is very easy to pair. I've got it paired with the computer and the phone and I believe there's capacity for pairing several more devices. It means I can now listen to not only music but also to radio programmes. I can't make any knowledgeable comments about the sound but everything sounds a whole lot better than when using my CD player. The bass is certainly deep. Although I'm delighted with the machine, the lack of instructions is not good. They supply health and safety warnings in a multitude of languages but no actual instructions apart from a very simplistic illustration in the box. I needed to Google 'Wonderboom user manual' which was more helpful but even then it still leaves a lot to be desired. I wanted to find out more about charging the battery but there was no information as to how I could tell when - a:- it was actually charging and b:- how I'd know when it had been completely charged. I had to guess that when the light for the on switch started to flash slowly it meant that it was charging and presumably it will stop flashing when it's fully charged. I couldn't wait that long to see. All in all however I'm more than happy.

This is a great little speaker and when I say little I mean little! It's a bit bigger than a clenched fist but it packs an almighty punch (do you see what I did there?!) It has a really nice solid build and it feels quality. I haven't chucked it in water yet, but I don't doubt its floating abilities. I took it on holiday with me and being tiny fitted my suitcase no problem. But it was fantastic to chuck out tunes by the pool. It has a bass which really only works well with the sound up. At lower volumes it drowns out the treble. So if that's the volume you are looking for then this may not be for you. I used it for a street party and performed really well although there were a few Bluetooth dropouts in the few hours of play. But overall nothing too problematic. I can definitely recommend this little ball of perfection. This company make bigger versions which I'm sure would be even better, but for this price you can't go far wrong.

Having read a couple of reviews online (TechRadar etc) I was really looking for something not overly pricey but that still delivered decent quality sound. I don't write reviews often but I must say I was blown away by the crispness of the sound from a relatively small device (the size of your average mug). The bass is also pretty good and we'll most likely use this for Netflix night (yes it's that good!). The set up is super easy and takes less than a minute to pair (my wife isn't tech particularly savvy so perfect for her). It was only on closer inspection of the box that I noticed it's not just waterproof, it's also SHOCKPROOF! (the box says as high as 1.5m height, but I wouldn't put that to the test). We have a one year old baby so it will likely take a few falls. The plus and minus signs are indeed buttons to adjust sound but also give the thing a sleek look. I've only had it for a day but very happy with this purchase.

This badboy really does the job. The sound quality is amazing when you consider the price. I chose one of these after reviewing several review sites. For me the most important thing was to have a waterproof speaker, with sound quality being a second criteria. The UE Wonderboom exells in both categories. I've had this in a chlorinated hotub, fully submerged and as soon as it surfaced the music resumed and there was no noticeable change in sound quality at all, so is very waterproof, the sound is much better than I'd expect from any speaker at this price and probably is easily as good as some that are twice the price. The whole speaker fits easily in the hand, the only thing I'd change would be to make the loop larger, or to bring back the bungee cord that apparently came with the earlier versions (but given the size, it's not exactly hard to carry). This is great for taking with you to hotels or when visiting friends and families as it hardly takes up any space. The battery life is amazing, the only downside being that if you manage to completely drain it that it'll take a long time to charge back to full. Overall 5/5

Achetée il y a de cela 9 mois maintenant, à 54€ d'occasion, je suis pleinement satisfait de cette enceinte. Je l'ai achetée en tant qu'enceinte portable, facile à emmener partout, surtout pour ma fille de 4 ans qui adore écouter la musique dans sa chambre. L'objet devait donc être robuste pour résister aux nombreuses chutes qui l'attendaient. Et force est de constater qu'elle remplit pleinement ses fonctions: - Compacte (voir photo comparative avec stylo bic) - Étonnamment puissante pour la taille avec des basses surprenantes. Aiguës et médiums très clairs également ! Ne grésille d'ailleurs pas à volume important si le fichier audio est de bonne qualité ! - Très joli design - Association Bluetooth très simple avec tous les téléphones/tablettes testées. Seconde association automatique et immédiat, très appréciable. - Résistance aux chocs très importante. Elle n'a jamais bronché après plusieurs chutes, nombreuses éclaboussures et même contact du sable. - Autonomie très correcte. Je ne l'ai pas mesurée mais étant donné comme on l'a sollicite souvent, elle rend l'âme au bout de trèèèès longues sessions d'écoute. Quelques reproches, qu'on relativise au vu du prix contenu de l'objet: - Pas de véritable notice, uniquement quelques explications (très) basiques - Le son lors le la mise sous tension et hors tension n'est pas réglable et est très fort (voir vidéo). Si vous l'allumez le soir quand quelqu'un dort, attention à ne pas le faire près de lui sous peine d'un réveil en sursaut ! - Pas de chargeur secteur fourni, uniquement un cable usb. Pour une enceinte de ce prix, je conseille fortement, d'autant plus que vous pouvez avoir un effet stéréo avec deux enceintes (non testé pour ma part). Llevo varios años cambiando de altavoz bluetooth a partir de aquellos que se recomiendan en amazon, y que inmediatamente tras empezar a usarlo sufres una decepción. Con esta experiencia he llegado a la conclusión que hay más “duros de oído” de lo que parece en nuestro país. Con este altavoz, en cambio, estoy encantado porque por un precio de 66€ obtengo una calidad de sonido impresionante; la música presenta una gran nitidez y los bajos son generosos pero de ninguna manera se han exagerado para tapar las limitaciones del altavoz. El envío fue muy rápido y el empaquetado y embalaje corresponde a una categoría superior. El altavoz viene sin cargador, probablemente para reducir el tamaño de la caja, lo cual a mi me parece correcto, dado que a estas alturas todos tenemos cargadores de USB. La duración de la batería es impresionante; lo estuve usando durante aproximadamente 12h con la carga que traía de fábrica. La calidad de los materiales es muy buena y globalmente el diseño del altavoz es muy acertado. El tamaño es el apropiado para facilitar su plena portabilidad. La conexión al dispositivo bluetooth es intuitiva y rápida a la vez que fiable. No lo he probado debajo de la ducha ni tengo intención, por lo que no puedo confirmar el nivel de impermeabilidad del altavoz. Máximo nivel de sonido de 86 dBC, y rango de frecuenciab de 80 Hz – 20 Hz. En resumen; un altavoz bluetooth portátil con una relación calidad precio insuperable; es el altavoz que hay que comprarse y dejarse de gangas mediocres.
