This is a very practical mower regarding design, efficiency, and price. It was delivered in a fairly compact and strong box. The handle was easily put together and fitted to the lawn mower and the polyproylene grass box equally easy to fit to the front of the machine. The wheels gripped well on the slightly damp grass to give a nice even cut with its 6 blades. The 12" width of the cut made it ideal for use in my 50 feet long lawn. Comfortable to push and easy to turn so muscle fatigue was not a problem for someone such as I, an O.A.P with heart failure and arthritis. The grass box efficiently caught the clippings for transporting elsewhere. However the clippings are fine enough, thanks to the 6 very sharp blades, to leave on the lawn to feed the soil without risk of clumping or waterlogging. I would warn against using the handle for anything but pushing and pulling the mower as it comes away fairly easily if attempting to lift it any distance. Better to remove the handle before lifting or simply roll the mower to where it is stored. It is easy to clean (not with fingers) and looks very nice too. Finally it comes with detailed instructions and parts guide AND 3 years guarantee. Excellent!

This is the first manual mower I have owned. Went for the Webb because it pushes cutting out the front. Means I don’t need to collect the clippings every time. First impressions when opening the box, well packaged and easy to build. The mower is very solid and a great quality build. Cutting the grass was so easy and quick. Easy to push and cuts the grass neat and leaves a tidy finish. Worth the extra money to get a better mower than the cheaper options, saying that it wasn’t expensive at all. Slim and tidy to store upright and no wires to plug in. Now looking forward to cutting the grass again!

Fairly easy to assemble, really compact to store as it stands almost upright and mows really well. They're four different height settings to choose from which can be easy changed without having to unbolt the mower and the grass catches perfectly in the grass bin. No wires to keep moving out of the way, no extention cords needed. Fast, effective, efficient, user friendly mower. It takes a couple of uses to get use to and I've heard the first mow in spring is a little more difficult versus using an electric mower. But on 9 out of 10 categories I'd say the Webb hand mower is better than an electric mower in my opinion.

Easy to assemble and great quality materials used. Plastic cover on top but I prefer that as last one rusted. Wheels are plastic but higher quality abs plastic than other push mowers I've had, so zero slip on the lawn. Blades are noticeably excellent quality with red coating to help see dirt and keep clean, and with 6 blades, you get a really sharp and fine cut. Clippings shoot out the front which is essential if you ever need to mow when the lawn isn't perfectly dry but want clippings to rest on the lawn. (Clippings to rear get trodden into grass after single cut forming lumps that kill the lawn, instead of multiple cuts akin to mulching and feeding the lawn out the front). This replaced a generic but all metal and sturdy manual push mower that served it's time well (maybe 10 years), but the Blades were so deteriorated that sharpening was pointless as the entire cylinder was rusting and the coating flaking off. That mower also had poor quality plastic wheels that would occasionally slip and the height setting was manual using plastic butterfly screws so impossible to be sure height was accurate. I've had many manual mowers (all excellent) but the H30 was my choice to move into the "pro leagues" haha. The H30 is an excellent for all the features like height setting, quality blades, study build and relative ease of use. Cut is beautiful and accurate! I can't relay just how much I love it! It is harder than other cheaper manual mowers I've used to push around so it is a workout, but changing height can help and the extra effort is due to extra cutting and re-cutting taking place. It is noticeable. My small, awkward shaped lawn is relatively well maintained (although under some repair right now) and I'm a keen gardener. Received my order early (3 days after order) but today was first trial of it and assembly. I don't need or use the clipping tray right now, so no comment other than it clips firmly on so will definitely stay on and is all plastic instead of material (again best for anything less than drought conditions). Recommend the H30 for any small/ medium sized lawn that's maintained well, even/without bumps and kept fairly short cut (50-60mm max). If you love your lawn and getting out in it regularly, this machine is awesome! (Better than my expectations by a long shot). If you're not up for the extra effort to push it around and regular cutting to keep grass short, other cheaper generic models might be more practical. The H30 absolutely will not cut long grass at all without a tractor dragging it around. Also very likely to scalp the lawn (cut too much and leave bare spots) if you hit ruts/ bumps and have the cylinder too low (This is a low cutting mower in general except at max height). Delighted with my purchase so 5 stars from me. Do your research though! If you have reduced strength or less enthusiasm for the lawn, other options might suit you better. Where do i start with this? Well, i thought i would go back to the old ways of a good old bit of manual labour and free energy lol! Im a 40 yr old man who has always used a hover mower or a petrol mower but never a push mower. Also the other reason for my buying this is my wife works weekend nights, and dont really want to wake her with the sounds of a noisy old hover mower, so problem solved there with this as it makes very little noise. Absolute doddle to assemble, few bolts here and there 10 mins later and hey presto, all done ready to push n cut! Well, it took a little bit of working out what was the best hight setting to use on my slightly bumpy lawn. There is 4 different height settings on this brute, so i started on the highest setting, did the whole lawn. Then knocked it down 1 more notch, again did the whole lawn again working my down to the lowest setting. I can tell you now, the lowest setting WILL NOT WORK/CUT WITH A SLIGHT BUMP OR DIVIT in the ground as it will just lock up and make a dent in the ground. Thats fine by me as i found the right level at notch no3. I did not attach the grass collection box at the front as i wanted to mulch the grass, so basically cutting the clippings as i went along. By doung this you put all the the goodness back into the ground when the clippings just rott down. You would not belive how therapeutic and satisfying it is to see all your grass cuttings and clippings cascade out the top of the shoot cover! Overall, I am thoroughly impressed, once you find the right right cutting level it is not that hard push to push as some say, even my kids wanted to have a go as they thought it looked pretty cool, so if my kids can push it with ease, so can you.

It's a great little mower if you never let your grass get too long. I didn't get my grass cut for a few weeks while it constantly rained and trying to cut longer grass is a bit of a battle. I'm 32 and fairly fit and active. Also if your grass gets wet it's a bit of a nightmare to use and living in Northern Ireland it's wet most weeks. If you keep on top of your grass and don't get too much wet weather then it's a great little mower and will help keep you active. It's compact and easy to store. I'm personally going to purchase a petrol mower for next year to save any hassle.

I bought this on the basis a hand-powered reel mower was right for the size of lawn I have, approximately 9m x 3.5m. It's flat - no bumps, ridges or dips. It takes less than 10 mins and requires no forward planning, no effort, no tarting around with extension cords beforehand and no risk of running over the cord. A bit of internet research will sufficiently inform you if this kind of mower is right for you. This one in particular has proved excellent. I'm not sure why there would be any 1-star reviews for this item. The biggest gripe seems to be the effort involved, but I can only imagine these reviews come from people who've let their lawn grow too long. Yeah, you've got to push it, but it isn't difficult! The blades are sharp and stay that way. There are 6 blades on the cylinder and the bottom blade (the stationary one the rotating cylinder scissors against) is spring-loaded, so there's no fine-tuning or adjustment to have to deal with in that respect. The clipping collection is excellent and the rigid plastic collector does a great job - if it falls off either you haven't pushed it on properly, or your grass is too long as it does run pretty close to the ground. Cut your grass often enough (twice a week in high season) and you don't even need to collect them. The space it occupies in the shed is pretty small (the handles push forward so that they hold themselves in place vertically above the cylinder body and the collector detaches and is the same size as the body). It's a doddle to just reach into the shed and give the lawn a quick once over. The only downside is an unavoidable one - it doesn't cut all the way to the edges unless you push it off the edge of the lawn. If you ran the mower around the perimeter of the lawn the width of the wheels plus the spacing inside the wheels before the cylinder begins means that the closest you cut to the edge is 3 1/2". I've put edging bricks around the lawn, so the outside wheel can run on top of that, therefore avoiding the issue. Overall, I'm mightily impressed and I'm never going back to a hover.

I was a skeptic of the humble manual mower. I’ve spent days looking at various reviews for different ones and stumbled upon this! I have a small lawn, but it is quite far from my house. Extension leads are a faff to lay from my house; through the yard, ginnel and then to the garden. The Petrol mower drives me insane to attempt to start for such a small area, so thought this would be a great alternative. It’s really easy to put together and adjust the height, although I didn’t read the instructions and tried to cut my grass on the lowest 😅. I adjusted it in the garden and I was away! My garden is full of lumps, bumps, and dips. After reading some of the reviews, I was worried it wouldn’t cope. It did! It took some graft and a couple of runs over but I quite enjoyed the challenge. If you have a bumpy garden, the bucket will jump off. Not a bother to me personally. Slots straight back on. I did have to strim my grass first (as per first photo), as it was the first cut of the spring and was like jumanji out there - so if like me you leave your grass to grow wild over winter, I suggest tackling some of the height first! Overall - I really enjoyed using it, I carried it around to my sisters to do her lawn too 😂. It’s not the lightest, nor is it ridiculously heavy! I’ll be keeping up to the grass more regularly now 🥰
