Couldn't believe this when it arrived - it had real wow value in the wooden box and the kid was delighted to find that it had a 3 part extension mechanism. It's not very strong but that's fine - it was bought for a child to use (under supervision) and it's a good size for a child. It is excellent for pirate games and really looks the part. I'd recommend it. (I think it's temporarily unavailable but we got it for about £8 which was a bargain.)

For once, I was a passenger in the car. I spied so many beautiful spots with this little gadget. It fits nicely into my handbag, and as the navigator I could read the road signs from miles away. I love it, great fun.

Bought this for my 5 yr old and he loves it. I'm amazed at the quality for £8. It's very well made and bones in a genuinely nice little wooden box. I expected a cheaply made thing but it's made of metal, with nice leather or faux leather band. It doesn't have great telescopic ability but that's not why I bought it and neither should you if that's what you want. It's a great toy, prop or ornament as it looks and feels great. Thoroughly recommend.

First of all: I AM SATISFIED :) I took a gamble, there are many telescopes like this one in various price ranges. What convinced me to this one was the reasonable price; the fact that THEY WORK; the good reviews and the fact that others had mentioned their 4 year olds getting on well with them. I bought two (one for my 6yr old and one for my 4 yr old) and AS WELL AS TWO DAY SPEEDY DELIVERY they arrived in decent packaging and the items were in FAB condition. Really lovely quality, smooth movement. DOWNSIDE is one works and the other doesn't. This I can live with (as my 4 yr old can have it and he will still have enough imagination to enjoy it as a toy as originally intended) but it is a shame considering i paid the same for both items and one is faulty. So the 4* review is down to 3* for this reason. Really lovely box, overall a good product just pot luck i guess with whether they work or not.

Got this for my husband for Christmas. He's recently decided he wanted brass ship stuff (I'm sure there's a real word for it, but like compass, Sextant etc) and I saw this and thought it would be a great piece to go with it - he loves it! Not the best to actually see clearly through, but great accessory/feature piece!

I bought this fir my 6 year old son as a xmas gift. It's a lovely little item, good quality and value for money. He will no doubt have hours of fun playing pirates. It would also make a lovely keepsake gift.

Great to look at from a distance, box poor quality brass is scratched in severely places. Not expensive so would be a waste of time to send back.

El producto ha venido como si hubiera sido usado o mal hecho. Me lo quedé porque al peque le hizo ilusión. No vale el precio. Es de baja calidad.
