It works very well but the numbers on the knob are not always accurate. You really just need to be near by and pay attention to whatever you’re toasting. Great for bread and toaster strudels. Looks exactly like the pictures.

This toaster never worked right from the beginning. It was usual for it to burn one piece of bread and not the other and we dealt with it for 2 years! We are finally giving it the heave ho and moving on. Not the way to start your morning.

Very cute, but the size of the openings is quite small, which makes it hard to fit a whole piece of bread in it. Crumbs also accumulate quite a bit on it. I guess you get what you pay for, it works but you can tell it's not great quality.

Very nice toaster, color nice, easy directions

There is no lying, the toaster is aesthetically pleasing and looked great in our white kitchen, but that’s the extent of it. Besides looking pretty, the toaster is useless. I ignored any negative reviews I read, because I know people can be extremely picky. I thought “how bad can it be.” But after a few days both my 11 and 12 year old asked me to replace it. The quality seems similar to my daughter’s Pottery Barn toy toaster. It feels cheap compared to the Cuisinart it replaced. But we stuck with it for 2 months because it’s pretty and I wanted to like it. The width and depth of the slots are pretty bad. Not only did I have to use my weight to flatten our bagels before putting them in, but even regular bread was getting stuck. The slots are so slim and the wiring so close to the bread that it would start to burn quickly. For every use we had gotten in the habit of unplugging it and then getting a fork to pry out the toast or bagel. There are also no numbers on the knob so if someone turned up the heat prior to your use, there was no way of knowing. It’s in the donation bin now. I feel bad that I’m passing my junk to someone else, but maybe they won’t mind all the trouble. I ended up replacing it with a Rae Dunn toaster. I don’t think the Rae Dunn is as pretty as this one, but it’s worked great and gets the job done perfectly. I wouldn’t recommend this toaster. Toasting bread shouldn’t require so much effort.

Would you like a toaster that toasts both sides of your bread easily? A toaster that doesn't burn one side and leave the other side as white as chalk? A toaster that has slots that are a reasonable width for a slightly chunky piece of bread or perhaps even, dare I venture to say it, a bagel? Would you also like your toaster to pop the toast up high enough that you can grasp it with ease or a lever that perhaps raises said toast high enough to remove it from the toaster while ensuring your fingertips stay far enough away from the molten metal at the top of the toaster? Are all these features of a great toaster in your eyes, one that improves your kitchen and makes breakfast an easy delight? Yes? I thought so! In that case, avoid this toaster with every atom of your being. This toaster supplies none of the appropriate aforementioned toaster related desires. It has such thin toastery holes that you have to risk electrocution when inserting the bread as you have to use your finger digits to shove the bread far enough into the toaster to allow the toaster to do it's toastery thing, don't even think about attempting to enjoy a bagel. Not to mention when you have finally managed to remove the toast that the toaster has decided to grip a hold of for dear life and allow only the merest hint of a crust to rise above the burning silver surface that surrounds it's shallow slots without losing your fingerprints and you finally have your delicious breakfast vessel! What is this? Yes that's right ,one side of your toast is so black you could easily use it to fuel an old steam train and the other side looks like it hasn't even looked at a heat source since the day it changed from its doughy form into the bouncy loaf you have before you. You. Have. Been. Warned. Toaster is pretty. Hence it's one lonely star.
