The story: I have very high ceilings being in a 19th Century stone cottage and the highest shelves in the kitchen cabinets requires me to be elevated. Been searching well known high street retailers and also online for quite some time now and found the majority to be eye wateringly pricey to say the least. Discovered these 4 Step Steel Portable Folding Heavy Duty Ladders which are supplied and delivered by Amazon, so with confidence ordered a set Ü The Product: Measuring H127cmxW46cmxL98cm and constructed of alloy steel with a loading capacity of 150kg. Height of the top platform is 98cm with a useful holding bar should you feel the need. The platform and treads are a substantial size at 20cm depth and 30.5cm width. The distance from the front to the back legs when open is 87cm. The safety locking mechanism at the top step is easy to use; I don’t understand the difficulties being mentioned by other reviewers. I have stone floors and therefore stability is a number one priority; need not have worried with these, they are extremely stable and I feel completely safe on them. The verdict: I have mild arthritis in both wrists and one shoulder, but found that whilst these are weighty at 7.8kg, I am able to carry them quite easily. Setting them up is a breeze and the height is absolutely perfect for my needs (reaching the back of top shelves in a kitchen cabinet). The treads are wide and deep enough to feel secure; likewise the top platform. They are unobtrusive and easily able to be stored under the stairs (or wherever) mine are comfortably sited in the pantry and don’t get in the way, frame depth when closed 3.5cm. All in all a sturdy and useful set of steps which no home should be without. For me a good purchase and excellent value for money (at £27.95) they are highly recommended. Good quality. And sturdy. Doesn’t wobble around like my other stepladder. So safe to use in the garden and wide non slip steps as my garden on the ground is so uneven. My only complaint is that they are heavy but that’s because they are so sturdy. Excellent buy.

For every home, you will need a ladder. I was in need for one at my new place, because the ceiling was higher as in my old place. With my old ladder I could not reach the ceiling to change the LED lights, or the battery for the fire alarm. Also to check if the ceiling is dry, and no water goes through the roof and affects the ceiling. for painting work outside or inside, and for window cleaning, or cabinets cleaning, always you will need a ladder to hand. The Home Vida 4 Step Anti-Slip ladder is strong and stabile, you feel secure to stand full on top with both feet on the top step, with no hands on the handle. In closed form it reaches the height of 128 cm, that`s so you know if it will fit to a storage place with the height of 128 cm in closed form. Open the last step will reach a height of 97 cm. Add your height to it, then you will know if you can reach the ceiling with your hands. I am not tall, with 160 cm, but I reach with my hand the 3meter ceiling, when I stand on the ladders top last step. I can touch the ceiling and change with easy a LED or the smoke alarm battery. 86 cm is the open length on the ground, in spaces like a child room, full with furniture, this will work better than, a higher ladder, which would need more ground length to fully unfold. When you open the ladder it hooks in by the last top step, as a additional security measure. The ladder came free of any kind of damage, and was wrapped in plastic, without any scratches. The delivery was fast and without any problems. I liked this metal ladder with a white paint coat on it, better than a Fibreglass ladder. I am very happy with the product, and it motivated me to write this review for you. Because I had a hard time to find a ladder, which would work in my situation. Acheté dans le cadre de la renovation de ma maison. Cette echelle m'a suivi dans chaque piece. Surprise dans un premier temps par son poids, finalement un inconvenient qui est devenu un avantage: hyper stable! Les marches anti derapantes top!
