Used on car interior
I bought a new car and it had a small scrub tear in the lining by the seat belt which was unsightly, so before i went don the route of buying a new interior piece thought i might as well give this a shot.I applied a small amount to the tear on both the base and the backing of the tear, the glue is very fluid a bit like watery PVA glue, so i left it to set a little for a bout 15 minutes then pressed the two areas together and held them there for about 5 minutes, this provided the adhesion needed to bond the two surfaces together, i then left it for about 15 more minutes with the heat on in the car and overall the the two surfaces bonded and the glue dried clear, albeit leaving a little bit of stiffness on the surface.Overall the lasting result is perfect and has saved me the hassle of buying and fitting a new piece to my car, so i am ecstatic on the finish.Just be careful with how much you apply as it spreads really well, however if you apply too much you can wipe away with a damp cloth.Delivery was great, came the next day and saved me loads of hassle, well happy.

Does add some stiffening and slight darkening on very thin fabric
I used this inside shoes to add a new lining. The material was a very thin sports type material .It did stick it but was quite hard to keep in place while it dried as the consistency of the glue is runny and thin a bit like a PVAThe colour was very slightly darker when dry . You couldnt use this for adding an invisible patch on thin material as it would show too much. This one tube was just enough to do the lining in the two pairs. My material was not very thick and absorbent but I would think that had it been so, the glue would not have spread very far. however the area of material it was used for was approximately 8 by 8 inches and I used it liberally.I did stitch the new linging on after the glue dried as some places werent perfectly stuck but this was more about gravity trying to remove my vertical material , where it was able to lie flat while drying , the glue held really well.

Hard wearing flexible transparent material glue. Easy to use
I used this glue to repair a split in some waterproof walking boots. The glue dries transparent so the repair was hardly noticeable and as it is flexible the repair held up to many long walks in muddy and wet terrain saving me from having to buy a new pair of boots. The glue itself is easy to use and once it started to set and became tacky, I pinched the material tear together to create a good seal until the glue was fully dried. As I only needed a small amount of glue I store the rest of the tube in the freezer to be able to use at a later date.

Not enough.
This is a small tube and is hardly enough to do even a small job. It took a full tube to glue 2 mts.of 30mm hem, and it only just made it, I had to be sparing with the last 1/2 mtr. I'm also not sure whether it will stick because the glue soaked into the material straight away and did not feel very sticky.

Works really well
Excellent product. My sewing is abismal and I can just about sew a button on. This product means I can quickly make repairs to tears and wear in fabric. I mostly use it for extending the life of my jeans. I have knobbly knees and am always wearing holes on the knees of my jeans. I cut a patch from an old pair of jeans (say 75mm x 100mm or so) and stick it to the inside of the jeans to repair. Glue around the hole and also around the outer edge of the patch. You can get extra time with your jeans and also still look trendy (if your into that sort of thing), with tears that show but don't rip further when you put them on.

Doesn't work. Avoid.
Awful. Just doesn't work. And now my shirt has a glue mark on it where the patch fell off. My advice - stick to needle and thread.

Perfect for sticking crochet to a cotton t shirt
I searched high and low for a glue that would be suitable to stick a crochet appliqué to a cotton t shirt and I couldn’t find anything online that suggested what to use or gave positive feedback. so I brought this on a whim, thinking it would ruin the crocheted piece or ruin the tshirt and it didn’t!I put cardboard inside the tshirt, added plenty of glue on to the tshirt, extra glue on the crocheted piece (especially around the edges) made sure it was spread out well so none of the glue could seep out of the edges, put the crocheted work on top of the tshirt, put grease proof paper on top and put 3 really heavy books on top and left it for 6 hours to set/ dry and it was perfect! My son has worn the tshirt all day at school and the crochet hasn’t peeled away from the tshirt… it’s really robust! I was going to add some stitches around the edge of the appliqué but I don’t even need to. It’s really secure. Now I’m just hoping the black dye from the tshirt doesn’t run in to the white crochet appliqué when I wash it.If you’re a crocheter wanting to attach crochet to cotton T-shirts use this glue! Give yourself extra time for drying and use something heavy to keep it in place.

Fabric glue to save parents time
If like me your sewing isn't up to much then try this glue. I find it works best for brownies and cubs uniforms. Works OK for swim badges on towels but doesn't stick as well on towelling material. You need quite a lot for it to work plus time for it to dry (drying time is a good few hours) . It can be a little messy but nothing compared to the state of my stitching! Easy to use. And doesn't really smell just usual glue smell. No odour when dry.
