If at first it doesn't work, keep trying!
When I read some of the previous reviews I thought this sounded like magic in a bottle for limescaled taps! It isn't quite like that but it does work. My taps are very bad even though I have tried all sorts of products, I live in a hard water area. My product arrived yesterday and I have been brushing it on and wiping it off ever since. The taps are gradually improving and after a bit more effort, I think they will be really good. All in all pleased with the product.

Quick and easy to use and very effective.
I had a bit of lime scale forming on the bottom of my bathroom taps so wanted to get rid of it before it got too bad. Based on the good reviews I decided to try this. Iโm very impressed with it. So itโs really easy to use. It comes with a brush under the lid so you carefully brush it onto the lime scale and leave it for about 15 minutes. It doesnโt drip so itโs nice and tidy. You should wear protective gloves to protect your skin. You then rinse it off ( I used my shower hose but you could use a pre prepared jug of water) and the lime scale comes loose. I gave it a rub over with a soft bathroom scourer. It did leave a bit behind but I repeated the treatment over 3 days and it all cleaned off. Now my taps werenโt too bad so I canโt say how well it would work on badly affected areas. Price wise it was worth every penny to get my taps looking their best.

Seems Not The Same Product From 5 Years Ago ! Odd
Years ago when I used to work with a friend who was a cleaner she introduced me to this product. It worked just brilliantly especially on taps, plug and plug holes and the edge of the overflow. She always had a pot on hand and I eventually went out and bought my own for our home. Limescale (just hate the stuff) and it builds up before you know it so always upkeep the basins and taps now. I hadn't used this product for a few years because we had moved and the area we are now in doesn't have as much of a limescale problem. However we changed some taps and the hubby wanted to thoroughly clean them before replacing so I purchased this product knowing how well it worked. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. It works nowhere as well as it used to, I remember you would simply 'paint' it on using the brush in the lid and it used to foam/fizz on the limescale which you then left for a few minutes to do its thing and come back to wipe away. Well, it didn't do its fizzing magic at all and somewhat removed some tough limescale but just not fully. Bit of a let down. Either I got a faulty product or its not the same as it used to be.

Message from a Kilrock Evangelist
During a period of isolation with little else to do, I decided to tackle the limescale that had built up on my parents' bathroom taps and shower. They aren't known for their meticulous cleaning schedule and refuse to get a cleaner. And as anyone who lives in London knows, the water is so hard here that limescale starts to build up before you can even blink.I'd tried a lot of the popular vinegar-related methods, and I noticed countless anti-limescale products in the cleaning cupboard. None of it works on tough limescale that's built up over a long time.First up; kitchen sink and taps (no photos, sorry). It was here that I realised how pervasive limescale is. Those white marks on the black sink? Limescale. Rusty-looking deposits around the joins of taps? Limescale. What looks like soap buildup on the corners of sinks- again, it's limescale. No matter how much you scrub, or how much vinegar and bicarb you use, it won't shift.Next, the dreaded bathrooms. I remember in our old house the bath built up so much limescale that we had to have a man come in with hydrochloric acid to burn it off. I checked and no, you can't buy it on Amazon. NB Kilrock is Fomic Acid. Less powerful but does not seem to damage any surface I used it on.Limescale on taps and metal surfaces seems easier to dissolve. On ceramic it's a bit harder. The sinks took three coats, the shower tray which was a very thick layer took me probably six applications over a period of 24 hours. Some of it wipes away, some of it just dissolves. You can actually hear it fizzing when you first put it on- very satisfying!I'm thrilled with this product, and now am on the lookout for things to descale. Use it- with persistence and patience. It does work, and I'm an evangelist for this stuff now. Hallelujah, the limescale is finally gone!

Worked well on a hard water scale problem with my downstairs toilet bowl after 3 applications.

Good but a ittle bit runny
Does the trick and does it well but not as "gel" as I had thought it would be. Its quite runny in fact. Great for the vericle run, but on the horisontal pass a lot of it is lost trough dripping. The other downside: Delivered by Evri...the absolute worst possible courier service.
