UPDATE: Monday 19th August...I received the replacement the day after ordering it. Excellent service by Amazon again. This time the Litter Box was already assembled with no sign of there ever having been any annoying tape keeping the two halves together. On removing it from the packaging, I could see straight away that it was better than the original had been; all the grey connecting sliders were there and they fit much better. They are harder to slide and I wonder if that's because the other box wasn't actually new... i.e. that I wasn't the first person it had been delivered to - The packaging of the last one was pretty crushed in a couple of places and torn badly too unlike the newer delivery. Was the former one someone else's return? I don't know, but I am now happy to give the Catit Litter box 5 stars!I let the kittens play in it while still empty; first with the flap up and then after a couple of hours with it down. This flap doesn't catch at all, though if you don't close the top access flap properly it does touch one of the sides.Once they seemed completely used to it (only one day) I filled it with litter (World's Best) and they pretty quickly used it with the flap still up. That was last Thursday. Today I thought I'd try the flap down while I was around, and they have both now been in and quite happily deposited their respective ''business'' - Success! It is rather large I agree, but with it being enclosed, I think anything smaller would make it more difficult for a cat/s to use, it seems ideal for two cats and I am very happy with the item and am pleased to recommend it._________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________I've literally just received the the litter box; it seems pretty ideal for my needs (No, I'm not intending using it myself!) It is very large as stated by most reviewers but the dimensions are as shown in the item details and I'd checked it would be appropriate before ordering.I have two new 3½ month old kittens, and this gives them plenty of space to kick around in after doing their stuff. I let them play in it last night while still empty, with flap open and flap closed. They managed to get in and out ok when flap closed though I can see that it does catch a little at the sides and will only leave the flap down while i'm around until i'm sure it's ok.The three star review is because, like other reviewers have found, one of the grey slides which keeps the two halves together is missing. I've ordered a replacement 'cos I'm not going to settle for a faulty item and can just drop the parcel off at a Collect + shop.

I threw away the old litter tray only because it wasn't as easy to clean. But this CAT IT brand is perfect for my three cats to share,its huge enough,so make sure you have plenty of floor space for it. The lock system is easy to use make sure it aligns properly first before you lock it in place.BUT consider this if your cat is a " PROJECTILE PEE OFFENDER" then definitely buy this as its stopped my elderly cat doing this!! so its a WIN for me no more mess on my floor!! XDhere are my Positive point based on my experience with this litter box.1) Easy to clean2) nice square layout3) you can buy refillable carbon filters from Cat It to make your life and the cats life easy from smells!4) you can buy the ammonia refill box to add to the litter box to totally get rid of the pee smell (HOORAY) it works,so Cat IT sell it here5) the cat flap door is nice and sturdy and NOT flimsy,and its see through.6) Easy to clean and wipe down inside and outside of box7) its slightly raised higher at the back of the box8) it has a nice high step inside of the box,so its not so low to the floor. both my older cats are 15yrs old and they can get in and out with no issues,however if you do have a cat with mobility problems there may be an issue. but the height itself enables no more mess.9) the lock system is easy to do as long as you align it properly!10) I've used a few litter boxes in my time as my cats are 15yrs old...and this is by far the best litter box its worth the money and saves you so much hassle. Only wish it came in more colors, but other than that so i'm so happy with it and so are my cats.

I have a Very Large Norwegian Forest Cat who weighs in at 8kg and this litter tray really helps to keep the litter where it is supposed to be. I was a bit concerned that he might not like the plastic cover over the door (although he is used to a cat flap) but it is possible to just flip back the whole of the centre top bit while still leaving the high side and half of the roof (the bit where the handle is in place) - so even if your cat doesn't like the plastic door bit you could still use it. You could also just remove the plastic door altogether if you so desired and there would still be a lot of protection to keep the litter in the box! The tray and hood are sturdy and feel good quality and my cat is happy to use it - no problem.There was a problem when it was delivered as this cat tray requires 4 clips to hold it in place and it came only with the two Right hand ones, however Amazon and the makers of the Catit tray were both very helpful in helping me sort out the problem and I now have the two left hand ones as well. Would recommend this to anyone who has a large cat, however I have seen some reviews stating that you could get 3 cats in there at the same time if neccessary and I wouldn't agree with that. It IS a big tray, certainly and two or three kittens could probably use it at the same time, but not three adult cats! Plenty depth though for litter to allow a multi-cat household to use the same litter tray for the cats as long as they are happy to use the same tray at different times. Check the measurements carefully if space might be an issue. Highly recommend this - and it looks exactly as pictured

Hopefully you can see in the pic, but this is a hoooge litter box. But to be honest once it's in place it doesn't take immense more floor area than a normal tray.The setup was nice and easy, and the box pleasingly deep so we shouldn't see any spillover the lip. We have a Maine Coon and a Ragdoll who are both pretty large girls. Our Maine Coon (Alice from the palace) has been getting many dags (pooey fur on the back end) and we were convinced she couldn't get her enormous floofy tail out of the way. This has been in a few days now and I'm pleased to say so far so good but I'll update after a few weeks.As a top tip it's tempting to put brand new litter into your brand new litter tray, but transferring the old to the new mid cleaning cycle means your furry floofs won't be so disrupted by the change.I do like the door. It flaps freely but has a good enough fit that is automatically dampens itself. From opened to a horizontal it only overswings by about 10 degrees and then closes. Ok, a bit engineering geeky, but crucially this also means less gaps for odors to escape.Build quality is nice, and the four locking clips are easy to use and work well. My only minor gripe is the overall rigidness. To be fair it's absolutely fine, but the Pets at Home bog standard we had before was a like one of those clip lock food boxers, this is not quite as sturdy. Perhaps this is because of the smaller size, I'm not sure, but the difference isn't a deal breaker.Fingers crossed the skip leads to less dags! And if it doesn't, at least we'll have something to park the car in lol!

Love love love it!Absolutely great, I love how big and spacious it is.I had the corner one from Pets at home but my British shorthair who will be 1 in Jan got too big for it and couldn't move around inside freely.This Jumbo cat litter is soo roomy she has soo much space to move around even with the litter inside.The top locks with the bottom well and can be lifted so happy with that.I like that the flap is see through so I can check on her.I also love that the flap can be pulled back to clean the litter and no need to remove the entire topReally worth the money, love it

This is so huge and easy to clean and a great price. Annie has loads of room inside it and has no problems with going through the door

Having just received it, this is a first thoughts review.It is big, and that is brilliant. For two British shorthairs, not small cats, it allows for appropriate space!It is really deep, so could take a massive amount of litter if needed.First thoughts, impressed. (Photo is of a 6 month BSH kitten)

Compared to his old litter tray this thing is like a palace. I have quite a sizable cat (Ragdoll) and I bought this following his dirty protest - I usually clean his tray twice a day but the one day I only had time to clean it once, he pooped outside of the tray as a warning to me. Also, he liked to kick loose litter out onto the bathroom floor. He gets the occasional bit come out on his paws now but i'm not having to sweep the floor daily anymore!It was clear that his tray was obviously too small as I bought him a regular litter tray from a local supermarket. This thing, however, is a monster - it took 10 liters of litter to fill and, although i wouldn't like to call the experience of shoveling s**t into a bag pleasant by any definition of the word, it's certainly become a lot easier to manage than it was before! The carbon filter helps to minimize any nasty smells and getting him to use the tray couldn't have been easier. In fact he jumped right in and did his business as soon as i had finished filling it.Additionally, the box has 4 plastic locking mechanisms that can be used to securely fit the lid. They feel secure enough for the job of holding the lid down.Not sure if i'd recommend it for a multi cat household as the item suggests, but then I don't live in a multi cat household. It is definitely appropriate for multiple cats, hell they could even go at the same time if they wanted to, but i don't know - I thought the general rule was one tray per kitty! I know mine would probably not enjoy sharing his with another cat!Anyway, my cat is happy with his new litter tray, therefore I am :-)

Definitivamente es un arenero grande, midiéndolo tiene 45 cms de alto, 55 cms de largo y 45 cms de ancho.Yo tuve que vaciar 6 kgs de arena para dejarlo a buen nivel.El diseño es genial ya que no permite se salga la arena ni los olores, también tiene en la entrada una adaptación para sostener una bolsa lo cuál ayuda mucho al momento de realizar la limpieza.La entrada es abatible como capo de auto convertible, por lo que no hay que desmontar nada al momento de la limpieza diaria y/o en caso que el gato no sea muy hábil abriendo la puerta.El plástico se siente sólido aunque no para sentarse en él, trae una agarradera en la parte superior lo que hace fácil moverlo en caso de ser necesario. Me gustó este modelo que trae 4 broches a diferencia de otros modelos que vi en YouTube. Es fácil de ensamblar.Al principio observé que la puerta se trababa un poco pero nada de importancia y tuve que invertir un par de tardes a enseñar a mi gatita a abrir la puerta para entrar y salir.En mi caso llego completo y bien protegido.Es un buen producto y una muy buena solución para quienes tenemos un gato.

This is a really good litterbox! My cat is 22 weeks old and we just got him home with us. You can leave the front open and when your cat is used to the box, you can put the flap down. This feature is also handy when cleaning the litterbox on a daily basis. This is a pretty large litterbox and will accommodate larger cats easily. The top can also be removed for a complete litterbox refresh. There are 4 clips, 2 on each side. There is a filter at the top and a carry handle. Recommend!
