Dear Michael, your question regarding the use of synthetic chemicals in our grapefruit seed extract has only come to our attention today. We can assure you and it has been tested for that no harmful synthetic chemicals like benzethonium or benzalconium chloride are present in our Organic product. It is neither added nor does it occur during the production process. The organic regulation does not allow to add these harmful chemicals to any product. We hope that this is answering your question.
