Pooch & Mutt - Bionic Biotic, Supplement for Dog Digestion, 200g

This is a great product. If your dog has an upset stomach, . It's a great way of giving your dog the complimentary diet he/she needs, at the same time helping them if they have any complications with a sensitive tummy or a history of having periodic issues of stomach problems and sensitivity in the form of sickness or diarrhea. My last dog (Emma) had issues of periodic tummy upsets, often brought on by eating or ingesting something that did not agree with her, this product sorts this out and soon gets them back to their old selves. Emma has sadly left this world now at aged 12half as she sadly had cancer. This was amazing in helping Emma with her historic tummy issues and she soon got over the tum upsets and was soon back to her normal self. It's not an instant fix, and it's best not to feed them for a good 6-7 hours if they have had a bad episode of the runs or are being sick, Equally ensure there is clean water available and encourage them to keep drinking to avoid dehydration. Then after 6-7 hours has passed, you can use this (according to instructions on packet for size of dog) on some chicken and rice, which is gentle on doggy's tum, without having any worries about it further upsetting your dogs tummy. I recommend using a flat teaspoon worth per day on a medium sized dog. This also does exactly what it says on the packet, bright eyes, glossy coat, healthy stools, digestion, itching and scratching reduction etc. I have been using it for years and am now still using it on my 3 year old border collie kelpie cross. It's worth knowing that most kibble you buy from stores is pressed at high temperature, so the good nutrients in this heat process makes the food's valuable nutrients deplete. If you can buy cold pressed kibble the nutrients are retained and not lost. It's much better to use cold pressed kibble (Dog biscuits) This product I believe to be a good way of complimenting those lost nutrients without having to pay the expense of cold pressed kibble, which sadly is far more expensive or in some cases double the cost, compared with that of your average high quality supermarket branded dog kibbles. I don't however in no way claim this to be a substitute for NOT buying cold pressed kibble it's just my opinion. However if your dog continues to be ill despite using this product, I would detect a problem and go to the vets immediately. They will probably prescribe your dog with protexin pro biotic paste and if so dehydrated will probably prescribe a lectade for good measure. This stuff is brilliant in that it settles my dog's tummy and delivers firm poop. He also likes the taste, I just sprinkle it over his food once a day. I think it's good overall as his ears are clean and do not smell. Have used this for quite a while and will continue to do so.

I bought this for my cavapoo who suffers from seasonal allergies , resulting in itching , knawing paws and licking . It was so bad he had a sore on the underside of his tail , so I took him to the vets . As we are on a continued insurance claim for this condition , it made sense to put him on apoquel . However , I’m very reluctant to have him on this for any length of time as it can cause kidney and heart issues in the long term , so for me less is best . He was on this medication for 2 weeks , he still wasn’t 100% better , but no worse after the course of treatment. I wanted something natural . The first time I gave him the Bionic Biotic powder , he was sick a little but I had mixed it with natural yoghurt and it seems it was the yoghurt which caused the sickness , as after this he’s taken it really well . I’ve read here on reviews that some of the powder is left in the dogs bowl , this happens every time but I just save a piece of chicken and literally mop up any dregs of the powder which he hasn’t eaten and give it him this way , so he has a full dose . Has it helped , yes I think so , he’s better than he was but let me tell you , IT TAKES TIME ! He’s been on this now for 3 weeks and we are only just seeing the improvements , he’s not scratching half as much or knawing his paws, yes he still does this but only little times . With any natural products , just be mindful that they take longer to get into the system . Oh also , this really helped to make his poos harder , and he seems a lot happier . I bought this to help my nearly 13 year old Labrador recover from a very nasty bacterial infection in his intestines. He seemed to have been going gradually downhill for a few months and we just put it down to age but after the vet's treatment cured him a friend recommended trying him on pro biotics to improve his overall health. This has been an outstanding piece of advice and having purchased this product I can wholeheartedly recommend it. His turn round can best described by a fellow dog walker who describes him as "a new dog". He has increased energy, his eyes are brighter and his overall demeanour is much better. It certainly seems to work on his appetite because he is always on the look out for for food and his intestinal workings are excellent with no sign of a return to his previous quite serious problem. We are, of course, continuing with his daily dosage. We have passed the product on to my son to try on his 4 year old Labrador who has had skin problems causing her to scratch far too much for some time now. She has been on the product for about 3 weeks and I would say she is about 75% better and we have been watching her closely as we have been dog sitting for 2 weeks. She is not completely cured, yet, and she may not be but there is no doubt that Bionic Biotic has substantially improved things. She still scratches but nothing like as often and only for short periods. It has worked on two different problems for 2 family dogs. You can't get a better recommendation than that.

I've got a rescue dog who has/had a systemic yeast infection plus other ailments due to neglect on a rotten puppy farm. I've had him 6 months, in all of that time he's been on various, continuous meds (antibiotics, steroids etc). He also has malestasia and his immune system was very weak. I truly believe that this product has helped a great deal in his recovery as it balances gut bacteria and in so doing strengthens the immune system. He likes the taste of it; I mash it into his food with a fork. I have also used probiotics on a rescue horse with damaged guts due to an horrendous worm infestation. The horse had chronic diarrhoea. I had tried EVERYTHING to try to help him, including everything the vet had to offer, and was on the edge of putting him down, then I tried horse probiotics on him which he was on for the rest of his life, but boy, was it worth it - the diarrhoea stopped within days as did his cramps. His skin and coat improved dramatically and he was happy and healthy for the rest of his life. I recommend this dog product without hesitation as I recommend probiotics for weak/old animals and those with an impaired immune system. Product is easy to use, comes on time and is affordable.

We bought this product to help with a yeast infection. We had heard that it would be instrumental in helping to clear up the yeast. It did seem to do a little towards clearing the problem, but we still required prescribed medication to relieve it. So okay, but not as good as it sounds. Three stars. JC

I know it`s early days, barely 4 . However my Doodle has been suffering with terrible diarrhoea for weeks . We were at our wits end. We had her to the Vet , she had samples sent away but they showed nothing. We had already tried different remedies with no results. SO in desperation I ordered this, and over the past 4 days I have adjusted the recommended dose slightly (upwards) . Yesterday , day 3, there was the first formed stool and the colour was not pale, as the diarrhoea . Today was the same up to lunchtime. So we are keeping our fingers crossed. We have changed he diet slightly as well , but that couldn`t account for this radical change in such a short time. Maybe Pooch and Mutt could give some idea on the packet of just how long it takes to see any change? That`s my only suggestion . SO up to now my Wife and I AND my 12 year old Best Friend Roza the Doodle are overjoyed!

I have purchased this for my little dog repeatedly over the last year or so therefore I can give a good comprehensive review of the product. I originally purchased this after trying a few other brands and my friend mentioned this one by Pooch and mutt. My little dog was constantly having runny poo and often with blood in it, I had seen the vet twice which cost a fortune and it just came back again after the food and powder from the vets ran out. I was at my wits end with it and felt so sad for my little dog . And then I tried this bionic biotic powder. Literally I used it for a few days before it really started to make a difference, but then it began to work wonders, my dogs runny bloody poos turned into nice solid stools which were a lot easier to pick up n the park that's for sure. He looked better in himself and his coat had a lovely shine to it that was not there before. And a year later it's still working wonders I'm so pleased, its changed both our lives for the better. I would say one thing though if u had a bigger sized dog this could become quiet an expensive addition. But it definitely works and continues to work. Fantastic product.

My Catalan is out of coat. I have used Bionic Biotic for 5 weeks and I can see an improvement in her coat growth during this time. Will be buying Bionic Biotic again.

Ich gebe Bionic Biotic jetzt seit über einem Jahr und muss sagen, das Zeug ist gut. Mein Hund hat einen empfindlichen Magen, was für Schäferhunde wohl nicht ungewöhnlich ist und die zwischenzeitliche Durchfallproblematik ist passe, man sieht auch am Fell, dass sich die Verdauung/Nahrungsverwertung verbessert hat. Kann ich absolut weiter empfehlen.
