So how do you replace them on tent
I bought these to replace a broken one on my Toogh 3-4 man 60 sec pop up tent pictured above. They would not readily slide off even after sliding a cresent wrench along the pole and trying to hammer them off. The old ones were locked on with a molded in key so they won't pull off. Good design if you never brake them. I first took a marking pen and drew a straight line on the inside of the elbow on the fiberglass pole just so I could orientate the new joint like the old one was. I then ground the broken one on 1 side with a belt sander down to the fiberglass pole. Be careful not to grind on the pole to much or it will weaken it. I just ground one side but it would make it easier if you ground it down on both sides 180 degress apart. Pry the pole out from the damaged joint, the keyway kinda held it on. Line up the new one with your marker line and push the new one in all the way and Bob's your uncle.

Just what we needed
I thought we would have to scrap the entire tent but these came to the rescue.

It worked it took a little modification but they worked and made a throwaway tent usable again
Was very pleased with the product it was able to repair a tent with a broken joint only took minor modifications to make it fit I am very pleased and would recommend this if you have the similar joint on your tent that is broken.
