Morphy Richards Electric Spiralizer 432020 2 blades Spaghetti and Ribbons Silver/Black Spiralizer

I hesitated about buying this as it had some very mixed reviews and is very expensive at the original price. However, I really wanted a spiraliser because I have Type 1 diabetes and don't eat carb so I knew it would give me a much greater variety of meals but I also knew that I am far too lazy to faff about with a manual one. Anyway, when the price reduced, I took a chance and I am so glad I did. It is brilliant and has revolutionised my meals. I've had it about 6 weeks and I've spiralised courgettes for all sorts of 'spaghetti' and 'noodle' dishes, carrots for Thai dishes and celeriac for pesto dishes. Beetroot is next - although I've no idea what to do with beetroot!!! All have worked brilliantly although the celeriac is a little tricky as you have to cut it to a size and shape to fit the tube. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I'm not really sure why some reviewers have had such difficulty with it - unless they had faulty ones. I use it at least 3 or 4 times a week - although I'm a little miffed at the current national courgette shortage! LOL!

I have no idea why people complain about this little device! It works perfectly well for me (pictures attached), does what it says on the box, it's very quiet, and I'm one happy customer. Cleaning is not a big deal at all, I rinse the parts with hot water, dry them, and that's it. Took me less than 2 minutes. The device comes VERY well packed, not a chance that it would move inside the box. And the leftovers, which can't be spiralized are actually quite small (see pic). Easy enough to chop them up and to add to the food, might take another 60 seconds or so.I wholeheartedly recommend this device.PS: i just read that some customers actually tried to use this device manually - the transparent part has to click into place! If it doesn’t the machine won’t start! It has to be twisted CLOCKWISE, until you get an audiable “click”! Then it works a charm.EDIT March 30th 2018:After a month using it I kinda understand some people's problems. The machine tends to be temperamental (don't ever try and use a courgette which is even slightly soft in the middle - the "cross" at the bottom of the holder device won't be able to stick in and hold properly, and you get the "hey, my courgette is spinning and spinning" but no courgettis.I still like and use it, but you really want to use fresh and firm vegetables!

This spiralizer is so much quicker and easier to use than a hand spiralizer. With the discounted price, it’s even cheaper than a lot of the manual ones too. It does take a bit of getting used to and there is definitely a nack to it, but it works so well and is a great way to get more veggies into your diet. Great for students who want to eat healthy. One thing I will say is to just check the blades are clear between veggies so that the veggie noodles keep coming out perfect. Read the instructions thoroughly to get the most out of it!

Quite impressed so far as an advised necessity for my low carb diet. The machine runs quite quietly and produces perfect courgetti although I was advised to buy very straight vegetables and chill them before spiralising. Cleaning has to be done by hand as the parts are not dishwasher friendly and you have to ensure correct engagement of the collar or it wont power but once you get that sorted it works fine. Another good feature is the way it packs within itself when not in use reducing the size for storage. Not tried it out on any other veg but so far I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Hi,I have purchased Morphy Richards products before and they have been great and have lasted an extremely long time. However, this one did not live up to the standard of their other reliable products.Packaging and delivery:The item was well packaged, no damage to the box or the machine in anyway. I know some people have had items used and opened before but this was on the case on this occasion.As always the delivery was on time. However the driver was pretty much bashing my door. This has not been taken into account for the 1 star rating.The item itself:The positives of this item is that it can the top part can be removed and be kept in the jug for easy storage.Pretty much everything else about the item is rubbish. if you put a carrot inside the machine, instead of having really nice swirls I ended up with mushy carrots.You are not able to put the whole carrot or any other veg inside due to the huge gap...... so a lot of wasted fruit and veg.In all honesty the product is garbage just don't waste your time and money on it.

Not as good as I thought, I think it would be better for courgettes but I don’t eat them. I found it wasted more veg than I’d like as you can only put a certain size pieces in there and then you’re left with a piece that doesn’t shred either. I did like the “noodles” I got but I’m not sure it was worth all the hassle of chopping etc to achieve it. Better off buying pre done at the supermarket!

I was a bit dubious about buying this because of the reviews but i thought i'd try it anyway. It arrived yesterday and i couldn't wait to try it. Its really easy to assemble and i didn't even need the instructions. I only had onions in so i thought i'd start with those. I was actually really impressed, it's really easy to use and gav me great ribbons. Today i got some more veg in and i've managed to spiralise a whole (huge) bowl full over carrots, parsnips, courgette, aubergine (this went a bit soggy) and more onions. All in all i am actually really impressed, more so than i thought i would be. Takes out all of the hassle of the manual ones. I will be eating a lot healthier from now on :-)

I have used a hand spiraliser and was not sure whether to buy this as everyone said they are not good. You have to remember a spiraliser is only as good as the produce - use fresh produce ( i freeze it - i get my weekly shop spiralise then freeze) that way the veg does not go soft. I find this works extremely well and easily as good as my hand one although my arm does not ache as much. Very easy to clean definitely recommend. I tried a few and kept this one good value. We spiralise loads part of our healthy eating regime its the way forward

Je rêvais depuis longtemps d’avoir un spiraleur électrique pour faire des spaghettis de légumes facilement, et j’étais super contente de trouver celui-ci, qui semblait offrir un bon rapport qualité/prix.Malheureusement, à la réception, grosse déception : la prise n’est pas compatible avec les prises européennes ! Impossible de l’utiliser. Dommage, car l’appareil avait l’air vraiment bien. J’ai donc dû le renvoyer.

El aparato se ve de muy buena calidad, pero le doy 2 estrellas por no avisar en la descripción que el enchufe es el de UK y nó el Europeo standart y por no permitirme la opción de reemplazarlo por otro nuevo, ya que compré varios enchufes adaptadores y no hubo manera de que se pusiera en marcha. Asi que de fábrica, ya salió defectuoso. Lo compré a 42,24 eur aprox. y si queria uno nuevo, al no dejarme reemplazarlo, tenía que comprarlo de nuevo, pero al precio de 79,00 eur aproximadamente. No hay derecho que hagan esto. La máquina me encantaba.Añado comentario, pasados varios dias, después de buscar más información: el voltaje es de 250V. En España funcionamos con 220V.

sehr gutes verarbeitetes Gerät,optisch sehr schön,nur wäre es schön,wenn amazon,darauf hinweisen würde,das man einen UK-Adapterstecker benötigt!Die zwei beigelegten schneideaufsatze sind auch schön scharf!

Produit livre dans les delais mais petit hic....la prise de branchement n'est pas francaise. J'ai dû acheter un adaptateur pour pouvoir l'utiliser.Quant au produit, apres l'avoir testé avec des carottes et des courgettes, le resultat est conforme a mes attentes. Toutefois, il y a tout de même des deperditions les aliments n'etant pas pousses suffisamment loin pour etre "rapés" jusqu'au bout.
