Stand is basic. The stem is extendable. Easily assembled and took about 10 minutes. Surface area at the head is ample for standard size bookshelf speaker. I have placed an Echo Studio there. It really looks nice and classy. The stand is well built with no wobble. I feel that the price was fair also.

As a professional musician, composer who relies on no less than the very best from my working equipment, these stands are essential in accommodating a firm and reliable base for studio speakers. Especially when used for Mastering, these stands are rock hard, I have them configured with the carpet grip feet (included) which easily screw into the base, giving a firm and reliable home, even with loud pumping bass, the stands remain in exactly the same position, essential after calibrating, where a few millimetres here or there can have a marked effect on the end result. A very satisfied purchase....

I ordered the Nordell premium floor speaker stands based on the reviews compared to the other similar looking but cheaper speaker stands. Stands arrived in a few days and I set about assembling them, which only took ten minutes or so. Very easy to assemble though the packaging could be improved as the locking pin wasn't covered with any padding. Luckily it never scratched damaged the metal spine of the stands. Once set up I placed custom made (exact same measurements dimensions as the top speaker plates) 50mm thick high density open cell sound absorbing acoustic foam on each of the stands. Then 4 anti-vibration platinum silicone feet on top of the acoustic foam, with my speakers resting on the platinum silicone feet. Overall I would say it's a very good stand though some people have had defects and screws etc missing. So quality control could be improved. In my case everything was fine and it does look stylish in my living room, very stable on my thick carpet floor. Rating - 4.5 out of 5 Pros - easy and quick to assemble looks nice once assembled reasonable price stable and sturdy Con - more protective packaging needed might not be suitable for bigger bookshelf heavier speakers I've attached some pictures of my speakers on the stands. Was really impressed with how they look.

Easy to assemble, good quality stands. With the height adjustment I'm able to have my monitors at ear level allowing for better listening. My speakers fit well and don't seem to have moved at all. I haven't really used the cal management not sure how 2 little plastic brackets can help tbh

These are really sturdy monitors. I have my PreSonus Eris 4.5 on them, and they look great, sit well, and most importantly, sound good. The triangular base is a little odd, but is pretty stable, and you can adjust the spikes (for carpet) to level the stands. My only small gripe is the height of the stands - I have them at the lowest level, and that's ear level for me. I'd appreciate if they could go a bit lower, and I'm definitely not going to use any of the height extension. However, compared to my wobbly previous stands these are fantastic. You could probably spend a lot more, and you'll no doubt get a lot more in return. But for a bedroom music hobbyist as myself these do the job.

Thanks so much for the Nordell Speaker stands, I have now had time to rearrange the studio and try them out.The stands were easy to assemble, the pdf instructions were helpful, although the images at point of sale said it all,and seem very strong and sturdy, the triangle shape as the base is a good feature, giving the stands extra stability. The choice of hard floor/carpet 'feet' is excellent- the carpet 'feet' option also helps with stability. The height adjustment is simple to operate and the use of the locking chain gives added security. I particularly like the option to rotate the speaker head as angling to find the 'sweet spot' when mixing is vital. I am using these with a pair of Mackie Mk 3 studio monitors, fairly hefty and have had no vibration problems. It's a great idea to just invert the pole to fix a standard PA speaker, should I ever need to...All in all, they are a good buy, look as if they will last and look stylish too- a bonus

A great pair of stands, and some genuinely excellent customer service on top. The stands are solid, weighty, well made and easy to assemble. Shortly after I placed my order, an friendly email arrived from Mark and Scott at Dangleberry Music, with a PDF of simple assembly instructions, and a request to contact them immediately if there was *anything* about the stands I was unhappy with. As it turned out, when my stands were delivered, a socket in one of the base triangles had a malformed thread, and I couldn't fit either the carpet spike or the plastic foot into it. It didn't prevent me from using the stands, but it was annoying. I replied to the earlier email explaining my problem, had a very swift reply from Mark with an acknowledgement, and another reply from Scott shortly afterwards to tell me that he'd already put a new part in the post to me, along with another bag of bits in case I'd lost anything (more carpet spikes, feet, cable grips, and yet another allen key to add to my collection.) The new base arrived the next morning in perfect condition, and it was at most a five minute job to switch the two. I'm extremely pleased with the stands, and I'm impressed with the support that the blokes have given me.

I'd been looking for a pair of speaker stands for a while, as it was Christmas took the plunge. Arrived the next day which was even better. items were packaged very well and secure, no damage or issues, all parts correct and easy to follow instructions I was initially surprised by how big the base was, they are quite large but now that they are in place and have speakers on them (small ones at that) they fit right in. Will hopefully be buying a pair of Yamaha HS8's soon will see how they perform then. At the minute they are sat either side of my dual keyboards, there are 4 height settings, got mine on the 2nd one, they seem to be very sturdy The company were quick to email me after delivery to say that if any support was required don't hesitate to contact them, which is a nice thing to do, have replied back thanking them. If you want a pair of good quality speaker stands would certainly recommend them
