I suffered a painful knee injury while cutting trees and moving branches in my garden recently. My GP diagnosed that I had a meniscus tear, due to the sudden changing of direction of my knee while lifting heavy tree branches. As a consequence my left knee temporarily buckled, while my right leg and foot were firmly planted on the ground and this caused stiffness and immediate lack of movement. Thankfully the pain receded quite quickly, but the discomfort has persisted for a few weeks. I had a CT scan at the hospital and the Doctor said that the problem should subside in the next few weeks. I still can't fully bend my leg as I did before and my GP did suggest to use ice packs regularly and to purchase a knee brace. I wear this knee brace every day, and it has certainly alleviated my discomfort. It was so comfortable, that I forgot to take it off one night, and didn't realise until I woke up in the morning, that I still had it on. I am happy in the knowledge that my knee is fully supported and cushioned as I make my recovery. It is extremely well made with 3 strong Velcro straps that allow the user to adjust it as tightly or loosely as they choose. The design is ingenious in that it fits all adults, regardless of size. Once secured firmly in position, it doesn't slip or slide around. The strap fits easily under my trousers and is completely conspicuous. It is simple to put on and to remove at the end of the day. I was slightly worried that it would make the surrounding part of my knee get scratchy or perspire, but it did neither. Therefore it can be safely concluded that the fabric of the support allows air to circulate naturally. I have started to go on long brisk walks again, conscious not to put too much stress on my knee. So far it has reacted positively and I feel that my knee is returning back to its previous healthy condition and my range of movement and flexibility are increasing progressively. Once my rehabilitation is complete, I will start light jogging and then take up running again. All the time, I will continue to wear the brace. I am part of a local football team which plays twice a week and will wear the brace when I participate in this activity too. I haven't had the need to clean or wash it, but I expect the maintenance is straightforward. Some washing up powder granules and then being soaked and rinsed in lukewarm water ought to be sufficient to clean the brace support. It is excellent value for money and the lifetime guarantee attests to the superior build quality. I just hope that I don't have a medical need to use it again.

It is better than some of the other bulkier designs available, it is comfortable to wear. It provides a very lightweight with a sturdy support which use a breathable material. It protects and alleviates the knee from arthritis and other sports related injuries, and also helps with regards to hastening recovery. It is one size which is able to adjust to different people and is easy to put on and take off. It deserved to be owned.

I feel like this is really helping me get back into more high impact training. I wrote my knee off a while ago and I've been having to be so careful in the gym and had to give up running . This could be the long term solution as I'm now back running pretty much pain free. I'm also an avid hill walker and this really offers a good deal of support for the terrain. I would definitely recommend. Only downfall is I think it is designed for bigger knees than mine and I find 'm having to adjust it often, but small price to pay for not being in pain doing activities I enjoy.

I have a meniscus tear. SO I find it very painful when I walk, the knee is under incredible pressure. This brace seems to give more comfort. It does not have any metal or any such very stiff parts to brace your knee into a certain position, hence I find it excellent for meniscal tear or ligament injuries. This item is actually a support and is great for a joint which needs protection rather than physical bracing. I am happy because this is exactly what I need. I find my knee feels much better when I walk and there is no pain. What I like is that it is easy to adjust and put on with its simple Velcro design. The support is a little short and after 2 or 3 hours it starts too cut in so can not be worn for more than half a day. Probably ideal for a small person. It is good quality though.

I have a weak knee and when doing any kind of sport I experience discomfort, which if ignored escalates into considerable pain which can leave me limping. Previously I've used a simple, unadjustable tube support with limited effectiveness but from the moment I put this support on I could really see the difference and wish I'd bought it sooner. The adjustable straps give you a near perfect fit for optimal support and the removable struts down the side aid this. I use it for running, martial arts, snowboarding and work (which involves manual labor). I can now go a whole day snowboarding without any knee pain during or after which is very impressive considering. For activities like yoga the side struts can be removed for a greater range of movement but sitting cross legged is still difficult when wearing this support. All in all a very effective and robust product comfortable enough to wear all day if you take the time to adjust it carefully when you put it on. Does restrict the range of motion a little but for such a strong support that is a small price to pay.

Purchased this to help with pain in the middle of the knee while playing football. The design and quality is excellent. Slight issue is that if it’s not strapped tight enough it can move while running but on the other hand tightening it too much causes discomfort. It hasn’t completely removed the pain but it has helped. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

La compré como simple complemente para hacer senderismo, ya que, sobre todo en las bajadas, la rodilla sufre muchísimo. No es que me doliera, pero a veces sientes que se te va un poco y algún pinchazo que otro te llevas. Así que, como precaución, la compré viendo que tenía un precio estupendo (creo recordar que unos 12 euros). Pues es fenomenal, muy robusta, la recomiendo totalmente, incluso para rodillas con problemas. Sujeta firmemente y es cómoda.

Am ersten Skitag legte ich die Bandage an und die angenehme Passform und das leichte Anlegen vermittelten direkt einen guten Eindruck. Nach zwei anfänglichen Stürzen verlieh mir die Bandage mehr Sicherheit und ich konnte die ganze Woche dem Ski fahren nachgehen. Die Bandage trägt sich sehr gut und verrutsche auch bei längeren Skitouren nicht. Das Material ist atmungsaktiv und so konnte ich innerhalb der Woche keine unangenehmen Grüche feststellen, was für die Qualität der Bandage spricht. Apres Ski ging auch wunderbar und so half mir dieses Produkt, einen sorgenfreien und entspannten Urlaub zu erleben.

J'ai acheté ces genouillères il y a plusieurs mois, j'ai utilisé le produit de nombreuses fois, plusieurs fois par semaine. J'ai commencé la course à pied il y a un an, et j'ai très rapidement développé un syndrome de l'essuie glace dont je n'arrivais pas à me débarrasser et qui m'empêchait de courir plus d'une heure sans douleur, jusqu'à devoir m'arrêter de courir plusieurs fois. J'avais repéré des genouillères pour ce problème mais qui étaient relativement chères, je me suis donc rabattue sur celles-ci pour tester, suite aux commentaires positifs. Je ne suis pas du tout déçue! La genouillère est facile à mettre en place. Le plus important est de bien fixer le scratch qui va sous le genou (c'est ce qui le stabilise et évite le frottement du tendon), celui du haut devant ne pas être trop serré afin d'éviter de couper la circulation.Il faut bien entendu faire attention à bien fixer les scratchs qui ont tendance à se décrocher sinon (ce qui peut s'avérer assez dangereux car le scratch détaché peut venir se fixer sur l’autre genouillère et faire trébucher...). Je remarque d'ailleurs depuis quelques sorties que l'une des deux à tendance à se décrocher plusieurs fois en début de course, mais cela fait presque 8 mois que je les ai, donc cela reste une durée de vie correcte vu le prix modique. Côté douleur: elle n'est plus réapparue depuis que je les utilise, c'est incroyable! Je ressentais encore une petite gêne en fin de course au début, mais en faisant des étirements appropriés cela ne m'arrive plus. Cet été je les avais oubliées chez moi pendant les vacances mais j'ai couru quand même. Et au bout de la troisième sortie, j'ai senti la douleur recommencer. Je n'ai donc plus aucun doute quant au fait que qu'elles sont bien efficaces! A acheter sans hésiter.

El velcro se va deshilachando, pero aun me siento seguro con ella.
