Yes but would suggest you put wood batons on wall and fix trellis to the batons

Does it give good privousy or are the gaps big?

There are kite shaped gaps all over once you have stretched it out. Ideally grow a climbing plant on it, preferably an evergreen if you want all year round privacy. Without something growing on it there is no privacy.

Can I attach this to my shed to support a climbing rose?

Yes I would think so. I attached mine to a fence. The wood is very thin and prone to split if you drill through it. I would drill holes into the shed panel with screws and then attach it with wire.
