Finished out the job nicely
Bought this to use on my kitchen repair. Had to install a new countertop and sink. I needed a tool to finish cutting it the sink opening. This was more than capable of getting the job done, 1.25 inch birch butcher block. Happy with the purchase.

Works great.
I used it recently with a metal jigsaw blade to install a pet door in our exterior metal door. The attachment held up well. Despite my inexperience using a jig saw, I was still able to easily create the straight lines needed to install the pet door. I recommend it as the matrix attachments really help to save space and great for small projects.

Burns out easily
I bought this in Dec 2023. It burned out while trying to cut some dense fiberboard/marineply . Never started up again despite troubleshooting. So they replaced itBut the replacement burned out again and now they will not replace it a second time. I guess this is a Barbie tool? not meant to cut wood? It was very tough to cut the marineply - went very very slow. I managed to cut about 6 inches each time prior to burning out. But it simply was too difficult for this flimsy weak tool- so it smoked a bit and stopped immediately after seeing the slight smoke. Really inconvenient! I just have a few boards to cut but I guess this is NOT a saw for cutting- so what is this for?

Nice addition to the matrix line.
The jigsaw attachment is great. Good for a weekend warrior. I dont expect it to last long for professional use.I thought the case would have foam and cut outs for the tools. I saw one like that with foam cut outs. Instead it's just empty and more of a tool box than a carrying case. So 4 stars.

Not as powerful as a stand-alone saw
Works well with smaller projects with thin material but struggles with thicker materials
