Great Gizmos Create Your Own Plate Design with Pens,White

I absolutely love this item! I purchased two so my daughter could make a personalised plate for her nanny and myself for mothers day. There is no margin for errors though as the ink dries extremely fast! I would not recommend this product for eating off of as the ink does chip off (I tested this on the back of a plate prior to giving it to my daughter to decorate) BUT however, would make a great keepsake item to put in a memory box or even hang on a wall, which I intend on dong with mine! The instructions: wipe with a tissue, decorate, wipe again with a tissue are extremely simple to follow and I would recommend this for school age children to do.

We bought this in order to make a unique present for our son's great grandmother's 90th (well what do you get someone who has all they want!). The instructions on the back of the packet are succinct but clear. My first advice is THE PEN DOES NOT WIPE OFF - PLAN FIRST!! The instructions clearly say that each mark on the specially glazed surface is PERMANENT. Therefore if you need to have a specific design, plan it out. Second bit of advice is the pen is fairly faint, BUT if you go over the same place too many times it will rub off the special coating and you won't be able to draw on it. So faint is often better than nothing. Lastly, handle with care and do not use in a dishwasher. I personally wouldn't use the plate for food use as it does't look like it will take intense washing or heat. I think this is more of a decorative/novelty item. My four year old had great fun making this plate and did a really good job of it with supervision. I think it's going to make a really great present, and because he liked it so much I may buy another one at this very cheap price.

An honest review: Another bad product that Amazon are allowing their sellers to sell. Two of the pens were completely dry so didn't work, the plate is small compared to a normal size dinner plate, the pens fail to even show up on the plate so the drawings or writing is barely visable. All in all, a very disappointing product.

I bought this plate many years ago and loved it. Just bought it again Xmas 2021 and the colours in the pens were way too vivid. Compared to the nice pink and blue before in the other pack, these pens were different. The pink was like a bright fuchsia, which wasn’t what I was after. The black also very wishy washy (grey) looking. Other than that, easy to use, good value for money.

Disappointing as half the pens were dry. Got 2 for an activity with my granddaughters. Very disappointing 😔 Poor quality pens and therefore not value for money

Pens don't show up very vibrantly, however it's a lovely product. Very easy to use, just wipe the plate, draw with the pends provided, wait a couple or minutes and wipe once more and the picture is permanent. A really lovely thing to get a kid to complete and have as a keepsake.

I bought this to use for my coursework! I had to design a piece of promotional material for a business, and decided to buy this plate and draw the businesses logo onto it! It turned out perfect, and looks really good. The price was just right too, as i didn't want too spend too much on it, as it was for my school work. The pens weren't very bold, so i had to go over things a few times. However, i didn't put it in the dishwasher so therefore can't comment on whether the drawn on logo will stay! But great product, great buy, very pleased indeed! Thanks :) P.S the plate is quite small and isn't plastic!! Not good for small children...smash!

I got 2 of these, 1 for my daughter and 1 for me and we both had fun drawing our own pictures on them. We now have our own personalised plates for snack times. My only criticism is that there could have been more colours to choose from but apart from that they're great.

Perfect gift for kids . Glad they are still making these as my kids made their plates 40 plus years agp

Très déçue par ce produit, j'en ai acheté 2 et au final pour les deux, le dessin ne tient pas, une pellicule de "plastique " se détache même de l'assiette !! Impossible de s'en servir.

These arrived intact BUT they did not live up to what I had been led to expect. First of all, the plates are ceramic and only to be used as decorative pieces. NOTHING WAS SAID ABOUT THIS!! Secondly, the pictures depicted vivid colors using the pens provided. Actually, the colors are very pale and even after retracing the drawings they remain lackluster and NOT brilliant as depicted. I do feel deceived and am unhappy with this product. Actually, I would not give it even one star rating!

Nice idea but the markers were a bit dry so not very vibrant.
