Excellent Customer Service
UPDATED REVIEW:08/31/22 - Customer service very promptly reached out to me right after I posted my initial review and offered to mail me a new replacement product at no charge. It was clear this is a company who makes Customer Service a priority. Very impressed with them and I've changed my rating to reflect this. Now I can say I would in fact purchase from them again. They want satisfied customers and work hard to ensure this.Original Review:I'm worried about even sending this to school in my child's lunchbox because the lid definitely does not close securely. I can barely touch it with my hand and it will unlatch. I don't know if I just happened to get a defective product?? However, I'm worried that it just being jostled slightly inside her lunchbox might cause it to open and spill out her lunch. Would not purchase again.

Good quality!
I bought it for my daughter and she has a fit to use it everyday. Good size for her and it seals good so there is no leaks. This is a good size for a toddler up to 8ish in my opinion.

Great size for my 4 year old
My daughter is 4 and has quite a small appetite most of the time. She takes lunch to school everyday and getting this much smaller box allows me to pack smaller portions with the hopes that she’ll waste less food. The only negative is that the inner lid insert is very hard to get off. I have to use utensils to pop it off to clean/dry it.

Adorable small lunch box
This is a small lunch box. Purchased for my 8yo to use when it’s pizza day at school.. she takes fruit and snacks to supplement her lunch.

Adorable! Nice quality, and works great!
I love this bento box! I got it for myself, not any kids, because I like bento boxes and sometimes it's easier to find foolproof options for kids than for adults. I also like mermaids and thought the design looked cute. In person -- not only is the design cute, but it's also really nice AND it's a nice texture! The side of this bento box is a bit angled instead of flat, which makes it kind of interesting and fun to use. The lid is actually kind of heavy. The compartments are nice sizes and held more things than I expected. Also, one day I put in some fresh cilantro with other things and I was surprised to find the cilantro was still completely fresh hours later-- I was expecting it to have dried out or gotten a little limp in the meantime. It tells you not to do runny food or liquids in it, so I haven't tested it with anything along those lines. But I did try vegan butter (zero problems), and poppyseed dressing along with ketchup and muster (no problems) -- I've thrown vegan cheese, vegan deli meat, vegan jerky, a full tomato, celery... a bit of a random assortment of items into this and tried it out across multiple days. (Don't be weirded out by these combinations - I did have other food with me that made this combo make sense lol)I have several bento boxes of varying shapes, compartment numbers and sizes, and more -- and I have to say, this is my favorite so far. It feels like it holds a good amount of food, while also having a nice number of compartments, and I like that it's so cute and it's a good size to throw in my lunch bag and even store in the fridge at work.My only current sadness is that they don't have more designs than this and a blue space/astronaut theme. That theme is cute too but not enough for me to buy another. But if they had a huge variety of designs, I could see myself ordering a bunch of them.Oh, also, I've had no problems with leaking even into other compartments. The snap/latch on the bento box itself feels like it should be a little loose because there's no satisfying snap into place, but I had no issues with it opening in transit anywhere so it seems to be fine. I think I'm just conditioned to expect that sensation whether or not it's needed. But since this is technically made for kids, I'm just noting that because it's not like I was throwing the bento box around like a basketball or knocking it off tables left and right, like a kid might accidentally do. I feel like it would do well but can't say for sure.
