Excellent ear plugs for noise cancellation. I live on a very noisy street and these help block out about 90% of the noise from outside, so much so in fact that I cannot sleep without them any more. I have very small ears and ear canals and have been absolutely fine with these. I warm them up by rolling them into a ball between my (clean!) hands to make them more malleable and then push them gently over my ear canal to create a seal. Sometimes I need to push a little more forcefully to get them to seal, but it isn't painful and they do not enter my ear canal itself.Pros:- They do not leave residue.- Good noise cancellation.- Re-usable (to a certain extent)- Do not enter ear canal- Stay in all night- Suitable for all ear sizesCons- Gather dust and hairs like no one's business (make sure to but them straight back in their container after use)- Can only realistically be used 3 times. Even that is pushing it.- A little pricey if using every night, as 1 pack won't get you through more than 9 days max.I can't say anything much about keeping water out as I do not use them for swimming/showering, but with the seal they create they should be quite decent.I would still recommend these, so much better for small ears than any foam ones I've used.

Best ear plugs I have ever used. They do a really good job at blocking out sound to let you sleep in a moderately noisy environment. Also, as they are very soft and mouldable they fit even in my freakishly tiny ear canal without falling out in the middle of the night, and they don't hurt!A slight downside of their pliability is that they do pick up dirt easily as they have a soft tacky surface but there are multiple pairs in the pack and they aren't expensive to replace, so I would rather that than use a harder earplug that falls out or hurts my ears.Haven't used them underwater so I can'tcomment on that aspect, but for blocking out noise so that you can sleep or concentrate on work in a moderately noisy room they are great.

Interesting product and lots of useful reviews on here. First thing to note, these DO NOT go IN your ear. These are like gummy sweets that you shape and then use to 'seal' over your ear canal by gently pressing against the ear. The first night I used these, I found them amazing. They didn't protrude and I was able to sleep on my side. They blocked noise well but didn't make me feel like I wouldn't wake up for my alarm. They also didn't 'internalise' the noise (by which I mean make you able to hear your own breathing, heart rate, etc) However, over the next 5 nights, I wasn't able to achieve the same result. I tried shaping it back into a ball, but the seal was never as effective - maybe I just did really well the first time. Tempted to try to the other two (this is a pack of 3) to see what happens!

I've been buying these for over a year now because they're superior quality to all the ear plugs I've tried, tested and wasted money and time on. They're also cheaper on amazon than anywhere else I've found. The only thing I don't like about them is the addition of the aloe vera. The addition of aloe Vera was a mistake IMO - the plain ones ares best (but hard to find now) because the grip in your ears is 100% without aloe, as the aloe seems to make them slightly waxier. Some people might not have noticed a difference but I guess I have because I've been using them for so long now. The difference is probably negligible for some people but I think it's important, as your ears always get slightly more moist with any ear plugs in, regardless - so maximum tack is crucial, so e.g. when sleeping, they stay in position much better for longer. Having said that, the grip is still excellent compared to any other ear plugs I've ever bought and these are definitely well worth the money. For hygiene reasons, I don't reuse mine (I use mine through the night because l have a very noisy neighbour) but if you're wearing them for a brief period, this is probably viable.You can roll these in to shape - I make mine cone shaped with a narrow point - then, to use time, I angle them from slight up above my ear canal is then gradually push them in. They take a bit of practice to use but, eventually this becomes second nature and the practise is well worth the effort (btw, the instructions say don't push them deep in to the ear canal but at the same time, don't leave them too far near the surface because they'll just work their way loose if you're asleep and then seem useless, if you do).

No carry case included; just the case the 3 sets come in. Only one star from me because I bought specifically for the carry case, otherwise the buds seem fit for purpose.

Not convinced by these. I have always used the foam plugs and some of these seem to stay in well and some don't. These seemed attractive as it is a bit like sticking a bit of plasticine into the ear. As has been noted by others this means you don't need to insert it right into the ear as it sits further out in your outer ear. This makes it easy to apply and remove.Reason I am not convinced is it just did not seem to block out much noise. You can often tell how effective these are by applying them and then the fact the external sound is blocked you start to notice the way you hear sounds channelled through your own head instead. So you hear internal sounds and not external ones.Also the texture is very sticky. It has got to stick to stuff and over time get dirty/fluffy. But they are not expensive and so why not give it a go.

I normally buy these from a chemist but needed some urgently, a relative visiting a house with snorers.I have tried many earplugs over the years but these are the only ones that work for me.I find them too big so I split them in two.I know the instructions say that you shouldn't do this but that's what I do.They are great.

I'm a light sleeper and sensitive to noise, with a partner who gently snores (as do I!) As I've got older, my sleep patterns have changed and anything seems to wake me up – so I use these earplugs every night to block out background noise. Okay, so I can still hear my partner snore if I'm awake and he's asleep – but it's way less intrusive and doesn't get me down so much – but once I'm asleep, nothing gets through to wake me. I like these because they're comfortable in my ears, and can be remoulded each morning, ready for the following night. You know when you need to use a new pair as they get a bit discoloured and dirty-looking. I wouldn't be without them frankly, and if you're a festival-goer, or live in a noisy part of town, they're a god-send.
