Bialetti Moka Express Aluminium Stovetop Coffee Maker, Silver, 1 Cup

I was dubious about a pot on the stove being capable of making an espresso, or of the resulting drink being great; I am quite fussy about my coffee. Great reviews and checks with some Italian friends all assured my I would be delighted. My initial very first sip of a cup from Moka Express made was - this isn't as strong as an espresso from a machine or a coffee shop. This thought was then bulldozed by the time I was swallowing it that 'my goodness this has so much flavour - yum!' (Using Illy coffee, by the way). I suppose the drink it makes is not quite an espresso although it is very similar. It is weaker, but it is not a watered down espresso, instead it seems to swap some strength for flavour. I have now owned the pot about a month. The coffee's it make invariable make me think 'wow this is good'. Also it is easy to clean. I would recommend getting a coffee scoop to get the coffee into the filter, I found it a lot easier than using a spoon.

Does the job just fine. Good quality product. I would say it is definitely smaller than I thought though. Single espresso shot is fine but doesn't fill a large espresso cup. Just something to note. Maybe the larger size if you're like me and need that double shot!

I bought a 6 cup one a while back, and decided to get a 1 cup pot just for me. A great coffee pot, authentic, and looks lovely on the stove. No plastic pods to create waste and gimmickie machines. Just straight forward proper coffee.

Make no mistake, this is the original and best Moka pot. Don't make the mistake of buying a really cheap one - the one I was given nearly drove me mad trying to get consistent results. The Bialetti gives perfect results every time and is easy to clean and maintain. Plus you have the advantage of spare parts being available. A true design classic in every way that has stood the test of time - do not hesitate to buy!

I was in the market for cappuccino/espresso maker. It was getting too expensive to buy them in sachets from the supermarket. I spotted this in a You tube video and instantly started looking it up on amazon. A great place to find all kinds of items. Arrived quickly as expected. First impression... the tiniest thing I ever saw! I order the one cup size, thinking I might not like it. It didn’t fit on the hob, so I couldn’t try it without a hob reducer. It produce a third of my coffee mug in mocha. Though I knew there would only be little, I was sort of dissatisfied looking down into my usual mug. BLAM!! Such a brilliant and aromatic cup of coffee. I don’t add milk or sugars, Smoky undertones and caramel smoothness. Flavours I wouldn’t ever taste if stuck to the same coffee routine. And I mean “routine “ as in it has changed my whole morning to start with and times throughout the day too. I didn’t add milk or sugar. Cleaning is easy and uncomplicated. You can remove the rubber gasket and clean inside the spout. The gasket can be replaced. Available from many amazon sellers. My only real gripe is that it’s difficult to remove the basket you fill the ground coffee in. It sometimes is quite finicky. Especially when you want another cup and the pot is still hot. And I’m still trying to understand that, had I opted for the six cup pot, how I would keep the rest of the coffee warm. It is only me who enjoys this delicious goodness. as the coffee filters through the spout, from the bottom compartment into the top leaving the bottom compartment empty therefore it would not conduct any heat. I would recommend this to anyone new to making coffee using freshly ground coffee beans. You Can add hot water if the coffee is too strong. Get the 4 cup version then you can enjoy several cups without having to wash up every time in between.

Once you try this way of making real fresh coffee, it’s such a great taste, you will love it. Easy to assemble and clean. I’ve used expressions beans, freshly ground and filtered water. Use it every day. My only regret is not getting a 2 cup jug, so I could have a bigger cup ! Great product and quick delivery.

I haven't score the flavour because I don't lick it very often and Easy to Clean? Well who cleans it every time? The only thing is you have to be patient pouring out the coffer otherwise it spills and you have to be careful the flame isn't under the handle but I'm not a child I can do those things.

Tadım konusunda; Gerçekten iyi ki almışım dedim. Granül kahveden gına gelmişti. hem daha demlenmiş olduğundan hem de acı kahve sever olduğumdan benim için çok iyi bir alet.

Bialetti conserva la sua qualità negli anni. Caffettiera robusta e solida, la classica "caffettiera della nonna". Il caffè, dopo l'opportuno rodaggio, viene molto buono.
