Do I remove the grey tip when plugging in?

The grey bit is a cover for the wick. Remove the grey cover and then The wick part on the bottle screws into the plug-in bit underneath and, once secured, you plug it into a socket and leave it switched on for around a month. It will then need replacing.

Can i use in the house, with a new kitten?

Sorry, I’m not sure. I use Feliway optimum and the info leaflet says it’s “safe for all stages from young kittens to older cats.” So I would assume the weaker ‘Friends’ version is just as safe. It does warm not to let children near it; ie: swallowing or getting into their respiratory system by swallowing the wrong way, is highly dangerous.

Does this also help with spraying?

My cat has been weeing out of his litter and it has helped, but he doesn't spray so unsure if it would or wouldn't
