Q: the arch support feels strange is that normal?

Yes, it does feel strange and yes it is normal! The arch support will "bed down" after two to three weeks. It is absolutely necessary to alleviate discomfort. Really good product, I work in construction & I'm on my feet all day long.

Hi, I'm a size 8 too, (ordered 6.5/8) these insoles just slotted straight in, didn't need to cut to size, they're hard insoles which at first I was surprised but actually were comfortable to wear and most importantly my feet stopped hurting! Mine have worn out now (lasted well in a work shoe tho, bout 6 months) defo tell difference without so I need to get round to ordering anotha pair of these.

Q: I have very wide feet and have found it difficult to get insoles to fit correctly and comfortably, are these suitable for wide feet / trainers.

I managed to replace the existing inner soles in my Trainers with these - whereas, due to the design of the heel area and being unable to cut them down in that area, I have not been able to use them in my every day shoes. So im pleased to find something to fit in my Ladies Size 5 Trainers but disappointed they are too rigid and not adjustable for shoes. Good design though and comfortable.
