Minecraft: Gather, Cook, Eat! Official Cookbook (Gaming)

Its so cute and filled with a ton of good recipes! Got it in great condition. Definitely suggest buying it if you love exploring cooking/baking

This was for my grandson, who is 6. He loves to cook and help in the kitchen, and these recipes were just right. We could leave things out as needed (mint? Ewwww) and just use what he liked. He is also really really good at Minecraft, so of a lot of interest there. Helps with his reading too!

This cookbook is a great way to get any Minecraft fan into the kitchen! This cookbook is fun for Minecraft fans, but it also contains incredible recipes. (I've made seven recipes from the cookbook and plan to make many more.) The author did a fantastic job theming the recipes around every aspect of Minecraft, from the blocks to the mobs and, of course, the in-game food. At first, I was disappointed to learn that recipes for several in-game foods are not in the cookbook (Cooked Chicken, Beetroot Soup, and Cooked Porkchop, to name a few). However, after reading the cookbook, I was happy these in-game foods were missing. Instead of including recipes for every in-game food, the author created inspired, original recipes that all connect to Minecraft. For example, there are recipes for "Golden Apple Pie," "Dragon's Breath," and "Blocks of Redstone Brownies." These examples are much more interesting than a recipe for, say, "Cooked Chicken" would be. Nevertheless, there are plenty of recipes for in-game foods, too, including "Suspicious Stew," "Potion of Night Vision," and "Cocoa Chunk Cookies" (one of my personal favorites). (If you want more in-game food recipes, the author also wrote an unofficial Minecraft cookbook before this one!) The official Minecraft cookbook draws in readers with recipes for classic Minecraft foods. However, it hooks them once they see all the other creative recipes it offers.

I raced to purchase this cookbook as soon as I saw the ad for it and patiently awaited its surprisingly speedy arrival. I was overjoyed when I unboxed it and flipped through the pages- the book has a nice quality feel to it and the pages and theming of the book is really nice! In addition to the multiple recipes, there’s unit and measurement conversions, markings for different dietary restrictions, meal plans, and spots for your own notes in the back of the book. It’s Minecraft font throughout and there’s a lot of little nods and jokes towards the game that I enjoyed. I do want to let you know that the book doesn’t have recipes from the game (aside from “The Cake” which I was really excited about!), but it’s more so a bunch of Minecraft inspired recipes, with some being more grounded in the game than others. I’ve only made a few of the recipes so far, but there are so many in there that just look delicious and I’m dying to try and make when I have the time and resources!

Book came with ripped binding. Unfortunately it was a birthday gift and it didn’t have an enough time to order another one.

Bought as a Christmas present and they loved it. Book arrived in perfect shape.

Absolutely adorable cook book and the texture of the book feels awesome. It reminds me of the old Minecraft guide books which makes it feel nostalgic. Very "creative" recipes (no pun intended). I would definitely recommend this product to parents with kids who love Minecraft as much as I do. 5 stars!

ist ein bisschen nervig alle Mengen einzeln berechnen zu müssen, da sie in Cup angegeben sind, aber die Rezepte sind definitiv weiterzuempfehlen!
