I'm not good with capsules...can I take the mastic out and put it in juice?

It says on the instructions at the side of the box you can put the contents of the capsule into water &/or add dilute orange juice to taste

Are these capsules large and thus difficult to swallow? I am useless at taking tablets!

Hi Mrs PC. They are smooth capsules the same size as paracetemol capsules. With a good swig of water easy to swallow I find, but I don't normally have problems with swallowing medication. Mastik gum capsules works fantastically well though so worth 'the effort'.

Probably you used to the smell only smell mastic when you are new to it. I would recommend it is a best medicine for all kind of stomach issues.

I have been taking for 3 weeks but no improvement. How long do you suggest before I give up?

You haven't said what you are taking it for. I found it helped for reflux, taking two capsules morning and evening, and had good results within about a week, but this was part of a plan involving dietary changes, in particular cutting out gluten / wheat.
