Using on an A7iii - absolutely beautiful lens. Not cheap, however the lens is pretty awesome to say the least

No complaints. I am completely satisfied with the lens. Received the product from the seller even earlier than expected.

Initially the lens has been fantastic, I’ve used it since may this year however in the last 2 weeks the lens has been malfunctioning. The focus doesn’t work and I get no readings on my camera on f-stop or exposure. The lens is totally unusable and clear is mechanically faulty. I treat all my lenses like babies and have tried the lens only other Sony cameras with no avail. The seller cashc has been totally unhelpful and I don’t expect this from a gmaster lens. i also noticed the serial number had been removed when I had to contact Sony about it. I’m now left with a totally faulty lens from a totally fraudulent seller, I’m not happy with the Amazon support I have received and the seller has simply denied to help. Be aware when buying this item that it might come from a fraudulent seller like cashc.

Heavy lens to hold, but flipping great sharpness! Just what I was after. 😀

100% perfect lens

Unreal lens and incredibly sharp at all focal lengths! Some people are harping on about it not being as sharp at 35mm but I don’t see that at all it’s corner to corner sharpness has to be seen to be believed and at 35mm at 2.8 the bokeh with those 11 apeture blades turns it into a portrait lens so it’s really a do it all lens! I had the zeiss 18mm prime before this but in my opinion this completely overtakes it with colours, versatility and overall sharpness and the zeiss is a prime! The weight isn’t an issue if your worrying about that too it just feel and looks so solid, if you have the cash it’s an investment for life!

Faulty lens

Testato su una sony a7c esclusivamente per fotografare. Consegnato sigillato nella sua confezione originale. All'interno troviamo: obiettivo, tappo posteriore, tappo anteriore, paraluce e custodia portaobiettivo. L'obiettivo è per le macchine sony con attacco E-Mount. A prima vista l'obiettivo è voluminoso, leggero e resistente. Già al tatto se ne apprezzano le qualità. E' un obiettivo avanzato a focale fissa. Ha 2 ghiere: una per la messa a fuoco manuale e una per impostare la distanza focale (da 16 a 35). L'apertura si gestisce dai comandi del corpo macchina Sull'obiettivo sono presenti i seguenti comandi: - tasto per passare da messa a fuoco manuale ad automatica, - tasto G per funzione personalizzata Obiettivo grandangolare indicato sia per paesaggi, architettura e spazi interni sia per ritratti e primi piani Prodotto in Cina LOGISTICA imballaggio adeguato a proteggere il contenuto e spedizione puntuale PREZZO 2140 euro al momento dell'acquisto oppure 1566 (condizioni quasi nuovo) su amazon seconda mano. CONCLUSIONI Vi consiglio di aggiungerlo alla lista dei desideri e controllare spesso le oscillazioni del prezzo. Questo obiettivo è fantastico perché: - diventerà la vostra ottica standard, utile per paesaggi, stretto e ritratti. Insomma lo userete per tutto - la messa a fuoco non sbaglia una foto, inquadri, scatti e stai sereno che la foto è a fuoco. - la luminosità, anche in scarse condizioni di luce riuscirete ad ottenere ottime foto e ISO contenuti. A parità di apertura, velocità e ISO le foto sono nettamente più luminose e i colori più intensi. - se lo usate per ritratti o primi pianI l'effetto bokeh è morbido e setoso. - qualità GM si vede e si paga. Al momento non avevo mai usato un'ottica così valida CONSIGLIO Agli amatori come me che da una mirrorless micro4/3 vogliono passare a una fullframe valutate bene quante foto fate e che uso ne fate. Se volete foto migliori e aumentare la vostra soglia di scatti ottimi, passate a una FF, altrimenti rimanete sul micro4/3, risparmiate qualcosa e ottenete delle buone foto. Se siete convinti che volete una FF a tutti i costi mettete da parte circa 2500-3000 euro (body+ottica intermedia) e tenete d'occhio nella lista dei desideri un po' di prodotti e confrontateli spesso, potreste risparmiare dal 5 al 25%. presto aggiornerò la recensione con qualche scatto autunnale.

Utilisé sur un A7 iii, très agréable, un poil encombrant, pas trop lourd, et super qualité optique. Il est mon objectif principal en voyage. Les distorsions sont très bien gérées !

Zuerst das Negative, bevor es mit dem Lob beginnt. Das erste Objektiv war deutlich dezentriert mit einer unscharfen Ecke. Leider scheint das bei diesem Objektiv häufiger vorzukommen, daher sollte man unbedingt ausgiebig testen. Dank der optimalen Rückgabemöglichkeiten bei Amazon ist das aber kein Problem. Das Austauschobjektiv hat dann die gewünscht Qualität gebracht und ist seitdem mein ständiger Begleiter. - Verarbeitung: Hervorragend! Mein erstes Objektiv aus der GM Serie, aber sicher nicht mein letztes. Hat schon ein ordentliches Gewicht, aber das sollte nicht stören, wenn man dafür auch entsprechend gute Bilder erwarten kann. Da das Objektiv bei Änderung von 35mm auf 16mm nur recht wenig ausfährt, muss man einen Gimbal meist auch nicht neu ausbalanzieren. Sehr angenehm! - Bildqualität: Sehr, sehr gut. Extrem scharf bis fast in die Ecken. Angenehmes, nicht zu harsches Bokeh. Für atemberaubendes Bokeh gibt es zwar bessere Objektive, aber bei F2.8 kann man auch mit diesem hier eine schöne Separation erreichen. Die Verzerrung bei 16mm ist, bedingt durch die Brennweite und abhängig von der Bildkomposition natürlich, recht deutlich zu sehen und braucht häufig eine gezielte Nachbearbeitung, aber das sollte für den versierten Anwender kein Problem sein. - AF: Mit der A7 III schnell und zuverlässig, sowohl bei Fotos als auch Videos. - Zusammenfassung Das 16-35/F4 kann ich zwar nicht vergleichen, aber wer die bestmögliche Qualität in diesem Brennweitenbereich sucht, wird mit diesem Objektiv sicher nicht enttäuscht. Das Gewicht sollte einem bewußt sein, außerdem unbedingt die Schärfe in den Ecken testen und ggf. einen Austausch bestellen/testen. Insgesamt aber eine klare Empfehlung, bereue den Kauf (trotz des stattlichen Preises) keine Sekunde!!
