I absolutely love this product! It "tames" my hair so there's more curl and less frizz. The smell is great, too. The only problem is that the price has gone up -so much-. I used to buy it for $9.99. Now it's in the "Save for later" part of my cart selling for $24.99! I'm going to try a different product with rave reviews that's $11 less for the same amount of ounces. It's difficult to find a product that can be applied to wet and dry hair like this one, but I found another one that I'm going to try.

I received this product in good condition and the owner was very nice to send me treats with the product. In my area the product is discontinued but my hair LOVES this product. It’s hard tk get this product in my area. I’m happy your shop is selling it and thank you so much.

So my wife's hair is naturally curly but it tends to be frizzy and she has 'fly away' issues with her hair. She was using normal conditioner in her hair and leaving it in her hair to help keep her hair smooth and curly. However, after a few hours the curls would lose their hold and she would have to reapply more conditioner half way through the day. She had used John Frida's no frizz serum which helped with the frizziness but not with the hold of the curl for her hair. I recommended this product to her because I use it on my long hair and it has excellent hold. It's smell is not very feminine or masculine so it works for both of us, really rather neutral. It works very well after the shower or she will wet her hair with a spray bottle and apply it to wet hair to get the curl she wants. It lasts all day and although it can feel a little stiff when it dries, if you move your hair around, it loosens up but still maintains the hold you want for your curls. It keeps my long hair in place nicely when she braids it for me. I recommend this highly for anyone. SheaMoisture has a lot of wonderful products for shampoo and conditioner as well. We have a lot of their products now.

I wear dreadlocks and I didn’t realize until after I purchased this product that I learned this is not actually for natural hair vs natural hair that is flat ironed, or heat treated or relaxed, etc.I decided to at least try the Shea Moisturizer because it is recommended for some form of natural hair. I also like the fact that this product doesn’t have various chemicals and additivesTo my surprise, it is actually a very nice product. My dreadlocks are softer. I use the Shea Moisturizer gingerly on my scalp and it absolutely stopped the itching from the dryness of my dreadlocks.I use Shea Moisturizer about every three days. The fragrance is overwhelming, and has a very strong scent of pure Shea butter. My hair maintains the beautiful fragrance, which is a plus.I was concerned about buildup, but this hasn’t become an issue.I would definitely refer Shea Moisture for your hair, or at minimum, test it if you wear dreadlocks.

I DON'T MIND THE SCENT BUT WOULD PREFER NO SCENT. IT DEFINITELY HELPS KEEP THE ENDS FROM LOOKING SO DRY . I DON'T USE IT EXCEPT ON THE ENDS, I USE A LOT OF THIS BRANDS ITEMS. I FIND THEY ALL LIVE UP TO THEIR CLAIM. I APPRECIATE THAT IT DOESN'T CONTAIN A LOT OF CHEMICALS THAT ARE NOT HELPFUL BUT STICKS TO THE BASICS AND GETS THE JOB DONE. IT IS REASONABLY PRICED......BONUS!!

The label on the bottle I received is NOT the same as the ingredient label depicted on Amazon. I don't have the patience to go through the ingredients one by one to see if they are all there in a different order. In any event this is definitely not the formula I am used to. This formula is not as pleasant smelling and the scent is strong . I haven't tried it in my hair yet. The consistency feels the same but I can already tell from the smell that I won't like it as much. I would suggest buying this product in person . Look for the label that list corn starch as the 4th or 5th ingredient.

Guys this right here is Amazing!! And smells yummy. I was looking for a product that had apple cider vinegar in it (wanted to start trying that in my hair), and a product that wasn't too heavy, oily, greasy or sticky on the hair. This is Amazing. It's only my second day using it and I'm pretty much blown away.... for $8!!!! I tried it yesterday for the first time and soon after putting it on I FELT THE DIFFERENCE. For a long time my hair has been Super dry and brittle. Almost immediately after using this product, the moisture, silkiness, shine, weight and manageability began to return. I'm looking forward to seeing what long term use will do. Thank you Shea Moisture. Some other excellent things to point out; this product is 'cruelty free' 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 And its 'family owned and operated' 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Great Job!

I don't use this as much as I expected. I don't need THAT much hold, so it can leave my hair harder to run my fingers through than I'd like. The spray version of this is what I really use a lot of and love the most. Amazon never has that for a good price anymore though. 😔 Gotta buy the spray at the store. 😔
