Braun Silk-Epil 7 7-561 Wet and Dry Cordless Epilator/Epilation + 8 Extras (2 Pin UK Bathroom Plug)

I love it! This was an upgrade from an old model and it makes my life much easier. Firstly, I don’t need to find a sunny place or time of the day to be able to see the hair as this machine has a light on it. Then I don’t need to be close to a plug as it runs on battery. The battery lasts ages. Both the shaver and epilator heads are very good and I do not need to carry with me both a shaver and an epilator when travelling anymore. I only take with me this one little machine, without even a charger, as it lasts for ages!It is less painful compared to the old ones. With the ‘efficiency’ cap on I could barely feel any discomfort at all (I have been epilating for more than 10 years though, so not new to it at all).I did however feel like with the efficiency head on there were some hair that were cut/shaved rather than removed from the root. I did not like that, so I tried to epilate without any cups. That was great and I think it removes as many hairs from the root as my old one, though it is still less painful.The extra small shaver is alright, but I prefer using the shaver head on the main machine, so I would rather it was not included, as I will probably never use it, but I still paid for it.Overall, I am very happy with it andI would recommend!

Have this product for about a year and a half and it works great. Not the best when in the shower but it still works grand. I love this product also because I can epilate when I am in my bathtub as I do not have a plug socket around. This is a chordless device. The light is a decent add-on. I also love the fact that it has a trimmer along with an epilator, makes your job easier and this way you would never have to use a razor on your body again. This product also comes with a tiny intimate trimmer (works on battery and not rechargeable). Overall, its a great buy, go for it!!!Pro tip: It could be a little painful to start epilating but then its not very different from waxing, you just need to get used to it. Do not epilate when your hair has grown to its full length, instead trim it and wait for it to re-grow for about a week or two (about a centimetre or two long) and then epilate.

It’s a love hate relationship. I love it because it does what it’s meant to do. However, as someone with incredibly hairy legs it is quite a tedious task. It is not for quick fixes but amazing if you have the time to commit to it

I found this really good.I have always been shaving and tried epilating oncecin the past with a very cheap epilator without giving it much thought, it was horrendous and put me off the idea for about 8 years. Recently as the more I shave the more hair grows back, I have decided it is time to fight my fears and try epilation again. I would say this one is expensive, although not the most expensive, but it is made really well and I took time to study instructions and did everything by the book. It still hurt not so that I couldn't cope, so I did both legs and tash, not bad for a first time and I am happy with the result. The hair of course grows back, it always will, but there is a lot less of it even after the first use. I am really happy with this purchase. I have noticed a couple of ingrown hairs but it is nothing to do with the product, it is just what this method - epilation does.

Epilating is so much easier than shaving or waxing, no mess or fuss at all, and if you're ready to go and almost out the door when you notice your legs need a touch up or you've missed an entire strip down the side of one leg you can easily fix it in minutes.I've been using Braun Silk-Epils for years and whenever they need replacing I always go for the newest model - wouldn't even look at any other brand. I've only replaced them when the battery has gone (from too many recharges!) and at the point when I'm fed up of sitting beside a plug to keep it charging while I use it. The mechanism heads (both the epilator and the shaver) always survive longer the battery and I've never needed to replace these.The little light is very handy for spotting any stray hairs that you might miss, the 2 speed is great, and the various attachments are nice to have but rarely used - once you've been using one of these for a while you'll just use the largest head to cover the most area in the least time! Having said that, this does come with a pain minimising head which has little 'rollers' which allegedly massage the skin as you go so it doesn't hurt as much... it lies, any epilator will hurt - there's nothing you can do about it and any features on any model which 'minimise' the pain will have very little effect!Once you get into a routine it's very easy to maintain and hair will take a long time to grow back, consequently after the first go to get rid of all the hair if you keep using it regularly you'll have far less hair to deal with at any one time and it won't hurt as much or take as long. The good news is that the more you use it the less it will hurt as you'll become accustomed to it, when I use mine it's more a tugging sensation than any pain, but for new users you should expect that it will hurt although the pain vanishes almost as soon as it's appeared - but epilation is absolutely worth it, so easy and quick, no more stubble, no more shaving cuts, just smooth hair free skin.

Firstly, out of the box is the Silk-épil 7, a charging cable for the Silk-épil 7 (for which you will need a shaver socket or a shaver socket adaptor), the free Bikini Trimmer, a bag of accessories, an AAA battery, and two instruction books: for the Silk-épil 7 and for the Bikini Trimmer.The bag of accessories includes the following:• A cleaning brush• A sensitive area cap• A facial cap• A shaver head with trimmer cap• A nylon drawstring bag to put everything inThe first thing you need to do with the Silk-épil 7 is to charge it. Charging time is about an hour. When charging, the charging light flashes. When fully charged, it shines all the time. When in use, if the charging light flashes red, it means that it needs to be recharged.EPILATINGTo turn on the Silk-épil 7, press the lock key (on the left of the central dial) and while holding it down, rotate the dial clockwise to position I or II. As soon as you do so, the epilator will start to whirr and a bright light in the centre above the dial will come on. As this is the direction the epilator will face when you are using it, this is really useful for spotting missed hairs. Position I is for gentle epilation and you should use this if you have not epilated before, or not for a long time. Position II runs at a higher speed and more efficient epilation, but if you’re a beginner, it may feel somewhat fierce. To help, pull your skin to make it taught while epilating. Always take your time to get a more efficient and less painful result. The massaging cap is fitted by default and gently massages as you epilate. You can identify this from the rollers that sit on top of the main epilation head. However, if you are an old hand at this you can lift off the massaging cap and push on the efficiency cap instead. This is much simpler with no rollers, just ridges to ensure close contact with the skin, lifting the hairs up as you move the head.To turn the epilator off, press and hold the lock key again and rotate anti-clockwise until it stops.FACE AND SENSITIVE CAPSThe two additional caps are for use when epilating any sensitive areas such as underarms (this has the larger of the two holes) or the face (this has the smaller of the two holes). Just remove the massaging or efficiency cap, whichever may be in position, and replace with the required sensitive or face cap.SHAVINGSwitch out the epilator head and replace with the shaver head. To do this, press the large button at the back of the epilator underneath the two removable parts. This releases the entire epilator head. No gently push the shaver head in its place. It should click satisfactorily.On the shaver head, to shave ensure that the slider points to the unlock symbol. To contour trim, slide to the locked symbol.By default, the trimmer cap is in place. This is for trimming hair, such as a beard or neck (go figure) to 5mm in length. If you want a close shave, gently pull off the trimmer head.Apply power in the same way as when epilating, choosing one of the two available speeds, I or II.CONCLUSIONI think this is a really excellent shaver. It is easy to use, either as a shaver or an epilator and is easy to clean.With regular use, it really does become virtually painless. It also becomes really fast to use when you stop needing to wince. 😊BIKINI TRIMMERThe AAA battery is for the trimmer. It is really just a very narrow, well-shaped trimmer for the bikini area. Neat little tool in a place you may not want to epilate. Your call there.

I received this product today. It is good and handy. But it does not remove all the hairs. I didn't feel any pain while using it on legs and arms. But it hurts little bit while using it on underarms.

Pleased with this epilator, it isn't painless but bearable and once you use it for a couple of minutes it doesn't seem as uncomfortable. Found it does leave a few hairs.

La unica pega que le pongo es que no la puedes usar mientras esté conectada a la corriente para cargarla, pero es perfecto que sea inalambrico, nunca la he probado en agua porque me da miedo que se pueda estropear con la cal del agua, además estoy acostumbrada a depilarme en seco, en verano es ideal porque te puedes depilar en cualquier parte. Con la carga llena a mi me da para las dos piernas e ingles completas. Muy manejable y el hecho de que tenga luz viene genial para ver aun mejor o si hay poca luminosidad donde nos estemos depilando

Ich war mir ehrlich gesagt nicht sicher, ob epilieren das richtige für mich ist. Ich habe sehr empfindliche Haut und bin auch sehr schmerzempfindlich (trotz Tattoos an einigen Körperstellen). Als ich jedoch die positiven Rezensionen für den Braun Silk-épil las, wollte ich mir direkt das neuste Modell anschaffen. Aufgrund des Preises und des mir nicht ersichtlichen Vorteils (wozu brauche ich 40% mehr Schneidekopf? Für mein 64m2 Bein?) habe ich mich dann für dieses Modell entschieden.Beine:Ich fing mit der Epilation meiner Beine an und das ging tatsächlich relativ schmerzfrei. Nach dem ersten Mal epilieren waren die Beine jedoch wirklich sehr (!) rot und ich habe sie für 2 Tage lieber in einer langen Hose versteckt. Dank Aloe Vera Melkfett hatte ich jedoch keine Schmerzen.Achseln:Unter den Achseln war der Schmerz wirklich schlimm. Das ganze wurde nur durch die kurze Dauer und die kleine Fläche relativiert, außerdem lies der Schmerz schnell nach und jetzt nach 1,5 Wochen ist immer noch kein Haar zu sehen.Intimbereich:Oh mein Gott. Der Schmerz war wirklich UNERTRÄGLICH und ich trage jetzt noch Pickel davon, obwohl die Epilation bereits 1,5 Wochen her ist. Ich habe die Epilation jedoch komplett durchgezogen und bin doch relativ stolz darauf und habe jetzt - abgesehen von den Resten der Pickel - wirklich glatte Haut.Ich kann den Epilierer aufgrund seiner Funktionalität wirklich nur empfehlen, man muss nur wissen, worauf man sich schmerztechnisch einlässt. Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass ein Tattoo weniger schmerzhaft ist, als das Epilieren im Intimbereich, wobei das Epilieren am Bein wirklich schnell geht und relativ angenehm ist.Der Akku hält auch wirklich lange, habe meinen kompletten Körper mit einer Akkuladung geschafft und der Eplierer hat auch nicht an Leistung nachgelassen.

I bought this product for such an expensive price even after I saw Philips with similar attachments for around 5k.Before buying this I saw at least a dozen youtube videos reviewing this epilator and mostly it was all positive.And I have to say they were spot on! This is the best thing that I own, and really miss not having all the 'hairy' lockdown days.Now let's get a little geeky and talk about the product.Pros:1. I loved the extra epilator pins as compared to the cheaper ones online. They really help in plucking out under skin hair and on a wider area. Good for legs and arms.2. I loved the attachments which allow for use on upper lips, face and legs' fingers & toes.3. The Best attachment I found was the small bikini area shaver. Its operated with one AAA battery and is really handy in holding it in one hand, trimming off the excess hair on legs/hands, etc, and then epilating on the same area. It's like 2 devices at one go (without the need to change the epilator head to the shaving one.)4. A youtube mentioned that it pains while epilating but take my word for it, it's the same or less as regular waxing. Eventually, I guess I will let go of salons and use this all throughout.Cons:1. Its wet sign is not for the whole device but allowing you to wash the upper side epilator rotator.2. Pricey!
