Great 6 core cpu for my needs
Working great so far, no issues. Great for gaming and cpu intensive work. People say 6 cores are not worth it for games, but more and more games (such as battlefield 1) are starting to use more than 4 cores so this is a good buy. The single core perfermance is worse than a 6700k for example but not so much enferior that it will hinder game performance. Managed to overclock it to 4GHz using a bequiet pure rock cooler with a somewhat aggressive fan curve set and it doesn't go above 63C under full load. You can easily achieve a higher overclock with a better cooler. Not all that much to say as it is just a cpu and I don't want to go into great depth. You can find much more info on youtube reviews if needed, but if your buying this cpu, it is quite likely that you know everything you need to know anyway :P

Great CPU
Great CPU got it overclocked to 4.3 ghz on asus suite 3, it's very fast and good for editing video as well as gaming with my asus strict RX 480 crossfire set up, ordered from Amazon and as usual fast delivery and well packaged. I would definitely recommend for videos editing and gaming rigs great entry level CPU for x99 builds, However if you are just gaming go with a 6700k or Amd fx set up...

Great service.
Arrived earlier than I'd expected, well packed and working perfectly. Very happy, thank you.

A good solid 6 core CPU
2 years and still going strong. Cooling it iwht a corsair H100i v2 so this thing is freezing half the time. The issue is, this is a bad overclockingf CPU (regret this now and maybe should've gone with previous generation) but still a good one. I built my PC for the purpose of gaming and workstation (video editting, rendering, 3D modelling) and it handles everything with ease. Overclocking, sadly, I couldn't get above 4.2 Ghz and voltage was too high for my liking. But reduced it to 4Ghz, which isn't awful as it's still fast enough to handle almost everything i can throw at it. But faster is always better. I cool it with a corsair h100i v2 and even with 1.3v pumped through, i keep this thing around 60c while under 100% load during hour long stress tests. This is quite outdated as the newer CPU look like they blow this out of the water, but fair review is deserved.

Seems fast and reliable.
Not sure the higher price is worth it for gaming, but used in conjunction with DDR4 memory and SSDs in a music production workstation, this has reduced recording and virtual instrument latency to unnoticeable levels even at high (1024) ASIO buffer sizes - very happy with it.

Great CPU
Been gaming on it for nearly 2 years now and have absolutely no problem. Would definitely recommend this over the 6850k. Just pair it with something as powerful. I've got a 1080ti & them both on a water loop. This meant i could get a stable overclock of 4GHz! Great CPU

like you would expect
Received the cpu and it all looked brand new, like you would expect. Then I opened it up and saw dust, finger prints and a piece of string on top of the cpu; in other words it look used??? The factory seal was all okay aswell, but I don't understand why there are fngerprints and dust and even a small piece of string on the top metal part of the cpu? I haven't received my motherboard yet so I can't test to see if the cpu actually works... I simply don't know what to do. Good but pricey
Bought this for video editing to replace a 4-core i7. I've overclocked by 17% but even so it runs much cooler than the older one. The 6-cores reduce rendering times, being nearly 2.5 times quicker than my older 4-core. I've knocked a star off because of the Intel price - just too expensive. Having said that, Amazons price was by far the lowest at the time I bought it.

Future proof for work PC.
Works wonderful once the computer runs in full cylinder. This one I bought works even faster than the 6800k I have in the other rig with less power consumed. Nothing to complain about!

A voir.

Coming from an i5 3570K, this CPU definitely blows it out of the water from sheer performance to streaming. Multitasking with this is a breeze and I have not encountered a moment it has bogged down when doing anything I have thrown at it. Streaming was the primary reason I went with it and it has not let me down. With stream running @ 720P downscale / Lanczos / 60FPS / 3K Bitrate / Veryfast + Firefox / Discord / IRC / Uplay - Origin - Steam - GOG - Battle.Net + BF1 @ Ultra, The Division / Ghost Recon Wildlands @ Ultra / Diablo 3 @ Max / CSGO / Doom / GTAV / Conan Exiles - All at 1080P, the processor at max hit 80%. For the most part it fluctuates between 40 / 65% usage. I do not usually run my games at Ultra at all, but to test this stuff + the stream and see how well the 1080 paired with this, I decided to do so. Coming from barely being able to run the games without major dips, [BF1 Sinai Desert] to being able to do that and more, was well worth it.
