How should I measure my opening?

Measure the opening carefully before ordering. Guard Me has different fit ranges depending on whether it is mounted inside or outside the door frame, and skirting boards may require a spacer.

Does Guard Me have a bottom bar?

No. Guard Me has no bottom bar, creating a clear passage and helping reduce trip hazards in stairs and hallways.

Can Guard Me be used at the top of stairs?

Yes, when installed correctly. At the top of stairs, the wall mounts must be placed at least 9 cm from the edge of the top step, or 13 cm when using an extension.

Can Guard Me be extended?

Yes. With one extra extension, Guard Me can cover openings up to 113.5 cm, depending on whether it is mounted inside or outside the frame. (Extensions sold separately.)

Do I need to drill to install Guard Me?

Yes. Guard Me is wall-mounted and installed with screws into the wall or door frame for correct and secure installation.
