tepro 8600 Universal Cover for Charcoal Grill - Beige

Fantastic item. I purchased this to replace my damaged previous cover for our BBQ. I have to say it’s brilliant, very well made, heavy duty, fits perfectly and great value. Highly recommended.

Very robust, well made and suitable product. Out of the box this is a very thick, plastic/tent like material. Some of the photos on the item description look White/Grey, but I can confirm that the colour is definitely Beige. This is not a problem and it still looks good, but just in case anyone was expecting the lighter colour, its not this one. Fits great over our new Tepro Toronto, no issues there. Worth the money. Velcro straps and breathing vents are a great addition, hoping this holds up and lasts for many years

Bought this cover as it's specifically for the Tepro Toronto BBQ we've just bought. As other reviewers have said it's good quality and fits a treat but it has a major flaw. It's not entirely waterproof. First rain saw the ash tray holding water. I contacted Tepro and this was their reply: The covers we sell are liquid impregnated and should be waterproof for a while but the impregnation can be washed off by heavy or constant rain! This aside I'm happy with the cover but will have to put a large polythene dust sheet underneath it to keep the water out.

WOW! This is probably THE most 'heavy duty' cover in existence! I think that the cover, without doubt, will far outlive the BBQ. I chose the beige colour because the taupe colour was more expensive for some reason. The beige colour is I have to say great and instead of a dark and dreary colour occupying a corner of the patio, it is brightened by this absolutely fabulous cover. It fits the Tepro Toronto to perfection (obviously) but it will also fit other bbqs which look identical to the Tepro bbq but are made under simply a different name. You have to drop down the side shelf which is simple and then drop the cover over. Thinking of purchasing another cover of the same, which I think will be suitable for other garden items.

So far it's in use since a couple of months and is doing well. The quality is much better than expected and definitely much much better than another make I bought... Very good material, waterproof and solid. Fits perfectly my tepro bbq. Definitely worth the money. I will update my review if anything changes.

This is a really well made cover for the Tepro BBQ. It seems very sturdy and is very very well fitting. I originally bought the Draper 1,500 mm x 1,000 mm x 1,250 mm Barbecue Cover as it was very cheap (not any more though) but this was way too big for it and looked a mess. This cover fits just right. Definitely worth getting this.

Nice cover. Snug fit on my bbq but does the job

The BBQ was easy to assemble. Takes a good view sometimes in the manual and the parts to see how to put them together but I had it together in about 90 mins.I have not used it yet, will do a testrun (burn-in) this weekend. The metal seems a bit thin so have to see how the BBQ will be after a year or so. I also bought a cover which fits perfect over the BBQ

Meine Rezension bezieht sich auf "Tepro Abdeckhaube passend für Tepro Toronto (NICHT für XXL) Holzkohlengrill, Beige", Verkauf/Versand durch "edinger Lampertheim" zum Preis von 22,33€ + 3,90€ Versandkosten. Mein Grill entspricht einem baugleichen Modell von Tepro (vermutlich eh alle samt unter diversen Labeln in China hergestellt). Der Grill wird wohl den Sommer über zwar hauptsächlich unter dem Balkon auf der gegenüberliegen Wetterseite des Hauses stehen, dennoch sollte für regenreiche Tage und für generelle Witterungseinflüsse ein vernünftiger Schutz her. Ich gebe gerne Acht auf mein Hab und Gut. Der Versand ist nicht zu beanstanden. Die Schutzhülle ist aus erstaunlich festem und dicken Material. Damit hätte ich offen gestanden bei dem Preis nicht gerechnet. Die Hülle fühlt sich schon beim Auspacken hochwertig an. Man fühlt dabei auch gleich die Beschichtung (wachsartige Haptik), welche Wasser abweisen soll. Insgesamt lässt der Haptische Eindruck direkt auch zu, in die UV-Beständigkeit zu vertrauen. Die Hülle ist sehr passgenau und ausreichend lang. Am unteren Ende befinden sich seitlich zwei Klettverschlüsse, mit welchen die Hülle um den Grill fixiert werde kann. Praktisch, da sie so definitiv nicht bei stürmischen Wetter vom Grill geweht werden kann. Weiterhin befinden sich ungefähr auf Höhe der Klettverschlüsse zwei locker abgedeckte Lüftungsschlitze. Vermutlich um für ein wenig Belüftung unterhalb der Abdeckung zu sorgen, um Kondenswasserbildung vorzubeugen. Zwar soll der Grill im Winter in einem Gerätehäusschen überwintern, jedoch wird die Hülle gerade in dieser Zeit hoffentlich Staub, Dreck, Rost und Insekten fern halten, bis der Grill im nächsten Jahr wieder zum Einsatz kommen wird. Fazit: Mein bisheriger Eindruck ist sehr gut. Ich habe tatsächlich nichts zu bemängeln. Die Wasserbeständigkeit des Materials ist quasi zu fühlen (wachsartige Haptik), das Material ist dick und schwer. Man vertraut sofort darauf, dass die Hülle UV-beständig ist, was natürlich mehr der Hülle selbst, als dem zu schützenden Grill zugute kommt. Lüftungsschlitze am unteren Ende sollen Kondenswasserbildung vorbeugen, mit Klettverschlüssen wird die Hülle um den Grill fixiert. So soll es sein! Einzig wäre es vielleicht eine Überlegung für den Hersteller wert, an den oberen Seiten ebensolche Lüftungsschlitze einzuarbeiten, wie an den unteren Seiten. Es ließen sich schließlich Laschen so annähen, dass zumindest kein Regenwasser eindringen könnte. Würde die Belüftung noch weiter verbessern. ================================= Nachtrag vom 14.07.2017 (erste Fassung vom 01.08.2016) Nach nun knapp einem Jahr im Einsatz kann ich meine Rezension nur bestätigen. Grill und Haube haben doch unter dem Balkon überwintert und dies ohne sichtbare Schäden, Abnutzungen etc. auf Grund von Witterungseinflüssen. Einzig die unteren Klettverschlüsse lösen sich an den Nähten der Haube. Aber auch ohne diese zu verschließen, weht die Haube nicht davon. Notfalls wird es sicherlich auch ein Stück Paketschnur tun, einmal unten um den Grill gewunden.

Un buon prodotto, esteticamente gradevole. È robusto e molto ben fatto, calza perfettamente al barbeque modello Toronto della Tepro e similari. È impermeabile ma non può essere lavato con detersivi o acqua calda. Questo è il secondo che acquisto: il materiale del precedente, una volta lavato si è assoitigliato ed è diventato appiccicoso, ma di sicuro è stata colpa mia. Usate solo un panno umido e acqua.
