Now if like me, you can’t face the world in the morning until you’ve had a cup of coffee but don’t have the time to make a full pot and don’t particularly enjoy pod coffees, then you’re going to love this. This small but perfectly formed Bodum Chambord French press is just the thing for a quick and easy cup of ground coffee. The design and finish is very good as you would expect from a respected brand such as Bodum. The function is just as good, with a simple plunger and filter that is very effective as it does a great job at ensuring a smooth and tasty cup is poured, time and time again. It cleans well after use and it’s ready to go again! As you can see in my video, I used a very small cup and just about get 2 cups. If using a mug it’s enough for 1 good cup. In summary, it’s a nice little thing that produces great coffee for one. It’s not as cheap as others but it’s a quality item, from a quality brand.

This is a genuine Bodum replacement glass for my French press/cafetiere and is used every morning to give me the boost I need. Unlike cheaper alternatives that claim to be suitable but aren’t, this glass sits snugly in the holder. A good, reliable purchase.

This is a solid piece - considering RRP is £30 for 0.35 L being sold for £13. I don't understand some of the reviews here - Bodum is a quality brand, the glass is solid enough for its purpose, it is sturdy and well-built and looks very aesthetically pleasing. It also has a very sturdy grip handle which other coffee makers do not, such as ones made of steel or metal which make you feel like you're going to drop it or the weight cannot be taken. To clear up the size issue: 3 cup does not mean 3 full coffee cups like what you get here in the UK / US when you go to a coffee shop. 1 cup is equivalent to a small espresso or Turkish coffee cup size - so you would get 3 small cups with the 0.35 L coffee maker. Or alternatively, the 0.35 L size would give you 1 large cup (standard Starbucks / Costa size). I hope that helps. Finally it will look beautiful on a kitchen countertop or in a lounge and will blend in with any kitchen decor. The design and silver accents make it a pleasure to use. All in all, highly recommended by me, so do not hesitate to buy from Amazon at this price! 10/10 product with real value for money. Recipe: try Ethiopian Yergacheffe black coffee - add 2 scoops to coffee maker along with sugar and 2 pods of cardamom (crushed). Stir well and let brew for 4-5 minutes. Do not add milk as this is a black coffee. This is a pure caffeine hit in the morning or afternoon - once you taste this, you will never go back to normal coffee.

A lovely little cafetière. Little is the main point that stops it getting a five star rating. It is described as 3 cup. I prefer a mug of coffee. This cafetière only just holds enough for one mug. Otherwise a very nicely made product as you would expect of Bodum. Makes a lovely coffee.

looks beautiful, functions as intended, in a very manageable size for day-to-day use. And it is easy to wash and maintain. I like using it everyday.

Bodum was founded in Denmark, is now headquartered in Switzerland and made this French Press in Portugal – I'm now drinking an Italian coffee made in it! Talk about a European product. I've used a number of Cafetiere s over the years but this is my first Bodem model and it is much better than the other brands I've owned. This French Press is available in a variety of sizes but I find the 0.35 Litre size is just right for me, but if you drink a lot of coffee or brew for a number of people at once then a larger size may well suit you better. At around fifteen quid from Amazon this is a good value product that seems well made and makes a real coffee just the way I like it. I must admit that I usually use a Dulce Gusto machine most of the time but this French Press makes a lovely change and makes the coffee seem more authentic. Probably the cheapest way to make a genuinely good coffee.

Danish - not French!

La uso prácticamente todas las mañanas para preparar café para una persona. Quería algo simple, duradero y sin complicaciones. Lo que me ha gustado: Muy resistente: el cristal y la estructura metálica aguantan perfectamente el uso diario. El café sale realmente rico: buen cuerpo y aroma, ideal para preparar una taza rápida pero de calidad. La cuchara medidora es un plus: facilita mucho mantener siempre la misma proporción. Muy fácil de lavar: se desmonta en un momento y queda impecable con agua y jabón. Tamaño perfecto si tomas una o dos tazas pequeñas. A tener en cuenta: En un par de ocasiones (2–3 desde que la compré), al bajar el émbolo he notado más resistencia de lo normal y he tenido que aplicar algo de fuerza, lo que provocó una pequeña salpicadura. No ocurre siempre, pero diría que pasa cuando el café queda más fino o se compacta un poco más. Detalles que no aparecen en la ficha: El émbolo normalmente baja suave, el diseño es elegante y ocupa poquísimo espacio en la encimera. En resumen: Una cafetera práctica, bonita y con un sabor excelente para uso individual. Muy recomendable si quieres una prensa francesa resistente y fácil de mantener. El único detalle es revisar la molienda para evitar resistencia ocasional al presionar.

Tellement meilleur le café ! La qualité de cette cafetière à piston est impeccable ! Pour 1 bol ou 2 tasses. Très facile à nettoyer.

Nice view and very good quality

This is advertised as for 3 cups, and it’s certainly not the cup size I’m used to making in my original Bodum. European coffee maybe. This press is only 12 ounces as opposed to 3 eight ounce cups I make in my old Bodum. However, it will suffice to make concentrated loose leaf green tea which was my intention for buying a new Bodum. I selected Bodum because I can remove the glass container and heat the water in the microwave.
