Udderly Smooth Extra Care Cream with 10% Urea by Redex, 227g

I have a two-year-old daughter who suffers from dry and extremely itchy, sore patches of skin on the insides of her elbows and, occasionally, behind her knees and across her tummy. My wife and I tried all sorts to alleviate her symptoms, and nothing that we bought nor her doctor prescribed seemed to help much or for very long. My mother eventually recommended a product made by a company called Moo Goo, having read an article in one of her magazines about a baby with an even worse skin condition, and it was whilst searching for Moo Goo products that I happened upon Udderly Smooth Extra Care - which is far cheaper than anything offered by Moo Goo and boasted much better reviews. Where so many moisturisers and prescription emollients had failed, Udderly Smooth Extra Care succeeded. Within two weeks, my daughter's skin, which had been inflamed and scabby from persistent scratching, was vastly improved, looking healthy and feeling almost as soft as it had been before. Better yet, it seemed to sooth the itching too, as she scratched only rarely after application where previously she'd been scratching near enough constantly. I heartily recommend this product as being worth trying, even for seemingly untreatable itchy, sore or dry skin conditions. Sure, different people have different skin types, and not everything will work for all of them, but it's definitely worth giving it a go. So, with the important stuff out of the way, I should probably talk about the less important details of the product. The scent is pretty much your standard moisturiser smell, so don't expect any fancy fruity or floral notes, and it does leave a slight residue upon application, which is probably a good thing for extremely dry skin conditions, but maybe not so much if you're using it as a hand cream (though personally, I'd take ever so slightly greasy skin over sore and flaky reptile hands any day of the week). Economically, the 227 g contained in this tub will go a very, very long way. Each of my daughter's applications required only the slightest dip of my index finger into the cream, so rest assured that you'll certainly get your money's worth. Other than that, there's not much to say beyond a reiteration of the fact that Udderly Smooth Extra Care is practically a miracle cure for my daughter's dry, itchy and sore skin condition, and that anyone suffering from anything similar should really consider giving this product a go.

I have eczema, and very sensitive skin. By far, my feet are the worst example of my skin problems. Aside from being a prime spot for my eczema, I also have horrible cracked dry skin. I've tried many different treatments, and have even been to doctors and chiropodists to no avail. So I had nothing to lose when I came across this on amazon, for only £8 (not much more than the price of a prescription). As promised, the extra care cream is completely unscented. The very first time I used it, I knew it was going to be good. It's thick, like an old fashioned cold-cream, but unlike all other products I've tried, it sinks in without leaving any kind of a residue. My hands were instantly soft, and stayed that way all day. I've been using it daily on my feet for about a week now, and they are much softer and are starting to look a lot better. (I have read reviews on here saying how it's not great as a foot cream - but you have to give it time, it's not going to resolve a lifetime of hard skin in one single application!). The cream is so good that I've started to use it as a face cream too. My other-half has commented on how soft my skin is lately - so something is definitely working!

Everyone laughed at me when I said i had bought this item because of the weird ingredients in it. But I wanted a really good moisturiser for some scars I had on the backs of my legs and I also read that urea is a very effective exfoliator. It's not fragranced, which didn't particularly bother me all that much, even though i am usually attracted to scented moisturisers, but this really did make my skin soft! As it turns out, after I started using this product for a couple of weeks, my Mums best friend got diagnosed with cancer and was about to undergo chemo. After reading other reviews stating that this product was particularly effective for chemo patients, as it helps the dry skin that can apparently be caused by the treatment, I gave it to her to have. Some time after she had got over her cancer I asked her if this product was any good for and she really sang its praises! She also said that the little of it that she has left she has been giving to her husband to help heal a scar caused by a severe injury on his hand. So yes, 5 stars, courtesy of both myself and my Mum's friend!

Nice and soothing cream for sore dry cracked skin.

I used this years ago and recently talked my husband into using it for his feet. He has diabetes and his feet are a mess, or should I say there were a mess. After a couple of weeks using it on a daily basis all the splits and hard skin went. We recently went on holiday and he got talking to a lady who also had dibetes and poor feet and she convinced him to use another product, unfortunately his feet returned to their old ways of spliting, cracking and bleeding. I had a go at him and told him to get back on the udderly cream, which he has done and his feet are back to looking like baby feet. Even he has admitted that for once I was right. On his last visit to his chiropodist he said that what ever it is your doing keep up with it, it's the best i have seen your feet in the 18 months i've been treating them. Even my daughter has started using it as she has problems with hard and pealing skin on her feet and she has asked me to get a couple of tubs for her to take with her to uni. Anyone who has problems with hard, dry, cracked or peeling skin on their feet should be using this. To coin an old phrase, it's the best thing since they invented sliced bread. One thing i would recomend is buying some cotton foot socks, like the ones ladies use when putting on hand moisturizer and putting these on after you have applied the cream. I think the ones from Avon are the best for men as they are the only ones i have found so far that come up a bit larger and will happily fit up to a mans size 11. Cotton MOISTURISING SOCKS from Avon

I have quite dry skin on my face and this stuff works a treat, not too thick, not too thin and soaks in nicely. A very light scent, but it is not detectable after a few mins on the face, which was my greatest concern, as previously i had used Body shop Hemp face cream, for which i did not mind the smell, but the wife detested (not this should be used as wife repellant). Having used about half of the tub my face is feeling a lot better, and not as "scaly" or dry flakes and it does not leave the face feeling overly greasy. Overall i am very happy with this, and i will be buying more for myself.

I loved the ordinary udder cream (Battles) intended for cows and bought this as the 'human' alternative. I was very disappointed because it is wet and sloppy, not thick and creamy. It is also very expensive for the amount (at the time I bought it), more than twice as expensive as Battles. The smell is negligible. I will be going back to Battles Original Udder Cream.

My husband first used this product recommended by his oncologist after a bad skin reaction to chemotherapy. It was provided by the hospital dispensary and we were so impressed that I have continued on for over 5 years for normal use.. It is an excellent quality moisturiser and I recommend to all customers who want a high quality moisturiser.

I have very dry and cracked skin on hand mostly on fingers and palms due to the cold weather. I have tried so many different creams to help my hands but nothing worked and my hands were cracking and splitting more and would bleed I found this cream and it works!!. My hands are healing, not dry and cracked and nor are the sore when I bend my fingers. The splitting has also stopped. I was so embarassed in showing my hands, I have smooth hands again!. I have placed another order!!!

Meine Tochter kämpft mit extrem trockener Haut an den Beinen! Die Udderly Smooth hat ihr enorm geholfen! Lässt sich prima auftragen und tut was sie soll..die Haut pflegen! Absolut top! Wir haben sie auch nochmal geholt ;-)

E' un prodotto essenziale per chi ha la pelle secca e particolarmente delicata. Nel mio caso le creme più blasonate non hanno mai funzionato, nemmeno quella famosissima con la bandiera norvegese nella confezione, né quelle per bambini; questa invece ha fatto miracoli. Non unge, si assorbe subito e non ha profumazioni che possano dar fastidio. Non posso che consigliarla, specie ora che la si trova a un prezzo onestissimo anche su Amazon Italia.
