AP-3

This is a powerful air pump for aquariums, purchased in January 2025 and still going strong. I still use under gravel filters after 40 plus years. I need decent pumps to run the filters and I also need a back up pump. I have purchased three of these pumps to run two different tanks and as a back up. These air pumps are not very noisy but they do vibrate, if it touches something can create noise. The produce a lot of air and are very reliable. Very low power consumption so will not drive your electricity bill through the roof. The pump will, by the very nature of how it works, produce a small amount of heat so I recommend it being positioned in a ventilated area. I have often stored these pumps in the cupboard of an aquarium cabinet. Remember to buy an anti siphon filter if you do this and the pump is below the water level. Next day delivery and great value. over the years I have used a lot of All Pond Solutions products and can recommend them.

Very good 👍

it’s good but the tubes fall out all the time so it stops working and it is quite noisy and the air pump itself gets very hot to touch i bought this is january and it’s still going strong so wouldnt say its bad it just gets annoying having to constantly attach the tubes

I was using a Boyu 4 port air pump and on the lowest setting the noise was driving me nuts, after reading a few of the reviews about the 180l pump i thought i would give it a try as the price was reasonable, I ordered 2 to replace the 4 port i was using, the items you get with the pump make this a really good deal, I dont know much about the ABS shell/Casing but if it is to help reduce noise it most definitely works, when the pump arrives you need to turn the black dial anti clockwise to get it to the lowest setting because i am running 2 large sponge filters off 1 pump and it copes really well on lowest setting, for once i can say i have found an air pump where the maker doesn't lie about the noise this is one of the quietest air pumps i have ever bought, i now have 4 of them and they are all running supplying air to large sponge filters and air stones in 3 of my tanks all in my living room and im so happy to say that all i can hear is a gentle hum but mostly all i hear are bubbles from the air stones. i can leave these running 24/7 unlike my boyu which i had to turn off at night, Amazon limits you to buying 3 of these so i got my brother to buy my 4th one. i have no problems recommending the 180l/h white air pump with the ABS shell i LOVE this little air pump, this is a total no brainer in my opinion. 10 stars

Excellent value for money! I brought this to help with a surface scum problem I’m currently having in a newly planted tank. Considering the price, it’s extremely good quality and comes with two outlets which is even better if you have two tanks! It cleared my scum problem overnight and I would recommend this over a surface skimmer if you’re looking for something to help with a short term problem (my scum is due to plant decay caused by a faulty co2 regulator, something which will go in a few weeks). I have this on overnight whilst the co2 is off and the water is clear in the morning. Added bonus, the fish and plants love it! Only downside I would note to people is that it is very loud so I would not recommend this for bedrooms but, I this is no detriment to me as my tank is downstairs. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this to replace a low powered single outlet pump and I wanted something stronger and with dual outlets. While this AllPondSolutions pump was more powerful than the pump it was replacing, it was also considerably louder, even when on the lowest setting. I honestly don't know if the pump was faulty or not (it seemed to work fine) but there is no feasible definition where "ultra quiet" matched the cacophony I was hearing, even when sited on a rubber pad in addition to its own rubber feet. Instead, I dug out my my old Tetra APS 400 (which had been in active service for probably 15 years now) that I had retired after one of the outlets snapped off for the second time. I used aquarium silicone to seal a small section of hose onto it to replace the snapped nozzle, replaced the diaphragms (both of which were torn, as I said, it had had around 10+ years non stop use!) and put it back into service. The APS is more powerful than this AllPondSolutions pump and, somewhat unbelievably, quieter - because frankly I'd always found the APS to be a noisy pump anyway. And yet it is quieter than the AllPondSolutions one. Which is actually an important point now that I write this review - I own various pumps from known and Chinese manufacturers and yet the APS is the only one which I can readily buy a kit to repair it. And actually, that is a really big deal. I have now returned the AllPondSolutions pump and will keep my venerable APS in service for hopefully many more years to come. And as for the low powered pump that AllPondSolutions was supposed to replace - that can be the emergency spare.

I find this tje beat air pump there is that I have found to be honest. I have a few different air pumps but this one is quiet dont vibrate like many others and this air pump is powerfull, you can adjust the power on it but i have mine on the lowest setting as it is really powerful. I brought 2 of these air pumps, i use one for my 300 litre and one in my 100 litre and work great. Also you dont have to use both sides either you can just run one of them if you wish which is what i now do in the 100 litre as I dont need both running in that tank. I do recommend this air pump

Seems good. I got a bigger tank and was recommended this through an online search. I have been happy with my purchase, thank-you
