Bestway Family Pool

Bought this Bestway 6ft 7in Family Inflatable Paddling Pool (2m / 450L) to set up in the back garden for the kids to splash around in and cool down during warm summer weekends. What I Loved (The Pros):Fantastic Generous Dimensions: At 2 metres long, the size is absolutely brilliant. It easily fits multiple children with plenty of room for water toys, and it is even spacious enough for an adult to sit back and lounge comfortably alongside them. Heavy-Duty, Extra-Thick Walls: The two-ring inflatable walls are incredibly wide and sturdy. They create a firm, rigid structure that handles children constantly leaning or climbing over the sides without collapsing and spilling out the water. Quick and Hassle-Free Inflation: Because it features extra-wide, quick-release air valves, the entire pool inflates in under 5 minutes when using a standard electric pump or manual foot pump. Integrated Easy-Drain Valve: A massive bonus for a pool this size is the built-in drainage plug at the base. It allows you to empty the full 450 litres of water quickly and cleanly directly onto a drain or lawn without having to awkwardly lift or tilt the heavy pool. What Could Be Better (The Cons): Flatten Your Lawn First: Because the pool holds a massive volume of water, the base is heavy when filled. Make sure to completely clear away any sharp twigs, stones, or hidden roots on your grass, and consider laying a groundsheet down first to perfectly protect the bottom vinyl layer! The Verdict: If you want a reliable, spacious, and highly durable family paddling pool that will last you through multiple seasons, Bestway has completely nailed it with this classic model. It offers exceptional value for money, holds its air perfectly for days, and keeps the kids happily entertained for hours. It is an absolute summer staple for any family garden!

Seems reasonably good quality, no complaints and decent size.

This pool is fab. We have only filled it with balls and not water so can't comment on its water holding abilities. All I can say is get a pump. It took me sister and I a good 2 hour taking it in turns to blow it up manually as she had no pumps in her new house. We both felt light headed as it was a hot day. Also the holes to put the air in are huge, so everytime you blew in half the air just came back out. Still, once it was up the kids loved it. We left it blown up stored in a spare room though for next time so not sure how well it flatters back out but judging by the size of the air holes the air should be expelled quickly and completely so should go quite flat for storage.

Great value, bought for an adult who wanted some respite from the heat and it was great!

Jus the right size for a few toddlers to enjoy but big enough for an adult to sit in alongside a toddler

not so robust, used it 3 times and noticed it deflates and now a big tear

I got this for my 2.5 yr old grandson and he absolutely Loves it. Also it’s Fabulous for us Adults. Brilliant.

Was a fantastic price,arrived quickly considering it came from germany,pool was a lighter blue colour to that on the amazon item picture,was still a nice looking pool,I brought a ground cloth of go underneath pool to protect it, Good size,easy and quick to inflate,but when item arrived upon opening the box I saw a small slit in the white part of pool which was the bottom,( i emailed seller to make them aware of the problem)but as I had a very excited son to save any disappointment and heartbreak I decided to put the repair patch on and carry on with using it,took ages to fill and uses a large volume of water to fill,unfortunately the patch did not work and the water soon started leaking out of pool,and we lost most of water,the patch just fell off,dont think much to the repair patch at all!my son was very upset and I was really unhappy as was a new product,I emailed seller again to explain the initial repair I had done had not worked and I would like to pehaps buy another and return the faulty item, as i had a devastated son!seller emailed me later that day apologising for the inconvenience and a return was not required and I would be refunded the purchase price,so currently awaiting a refund,but am pleased with sellers prompt response. We lost all our water through the slit in it but I imagine it would be quite difficult to empty as could do with a drainage plug in bottom, don't think I would buy another pool like this as it doesn't seem that strong,and the fact that it had a split in bottom has put me off!

Every summer we get this pool out of the garage and my kid loves playing in this pool. There’s even plenty of room for Mum & Dad on a hot summers day for an instance cooling off. Love the product
