Silverline 633578 10 Metre Air Line Rubber Hose

Appears decent quality I only run into about 80 psi but it doesn’t seem to have memory on shape and feels like it will last awhile. I’ve had it perhaps three or four months now so time will.

Langley steelworks compressor hose arrived in decent time but leaked like a secondhand colostomy bag, Eewww! Thats because I had no PTFE tape to hand as I'm waiting for some to arrive also from Langley Steelworks (10 rolls for very much cheapness). I therefore jerry-rigged it just to try it out. I got a small rubber grommet (The Maplins electronic type not the electrical sort) that just fits the threaded hole and cut it in half, thereby magically making two (count 'em, TWO) sealing washers and they seal great, just don't tighten fittings too tight or you'll cut the grommet up. Its just a quick fix until the PTFE tape gets here although I'm unsure if just sealing the threads will actually stop air leaking at the hoses joint. It was also the least expensive hose of its type on amazon at the time of writing. It comes packed smaller than you'd expect but its weighty. Some people report threads stripping, I suggest using PTFE tape or thread sealent and using less force. Some folk have no common sense. If you do strip the threads its still usable, cut the end off and buy the appropriate barbed push in adaptor and use a small jubilee clip on the hose. It would be handy if they did a 5 metre hose too but one could cut it in half and you'd have two 5 meter hoses using the appropriate connectors and jubilee clips of course. I bought one exactly the same from Machine Mart years ago, only that was more expensiver LOoOL.

Bought 3 hoses from machine mart and all of them leaked with the bad crimping. This hose is fully crimped . Great weight and quality brass fixings. Highly recommend

I’m glad I purches this. I use it every week for maintenance on my cars very handy length which means I don’t have to drag the compressor out like I used to every time. It’s hard wearing as I have run over it several times. It could up easily for storage. I would purchase again if I had to. It arrived quickly and was well packaged

I brought one of these items about five or six years ago and I think it's still going strong - I say this based on the fact my son 'borrowed' it about four years ago an I think it must be still going okay as he only wanted to borrow my air operated sander not so long ago as he already had the spray gun that went with the hose first time round.. : ) - and so I know the quality and the value of these hoses and having just tried it out with an air nibbler, and so it works as it should. Bottom line, good hose and good price. PS: I have asked my son to leave me my old hose, spray gun and sander in his Will to me...

Livraison reçu dans les temps. Produit correspondant à la photo soit: - 10 mètres de tuyau à air comprimé de sécurité Acheté pour l'alimentation d'outils pneumatique. Produit conforme à la description du vendeur et apparemment de bonne qualité, celui-ci est robuste ( un peu trop d'ailleurs) et après montage aucune fuite aux raccords. Manque juste d'un peu de souplesse, difficile visiblement de concilier résistance et élasticité.mais ne gêne pas à son utilisation. Je recommande ce produit.
