Perfect if you don’t plan to breed roaches but a few issues if you do.
I’ve been breeding my feeder dubia roaches for a few years now so was excited to try this live food storage bin out and it seems like a really effective way to keep them… but had several flaws if you want to breed. The bin itself is made from study plastic and thinks of everything. There’s areas for them to climb up and corners for them to pile. The food and water dish stays in place with small magnets and there’s no holes or places they can escape from. There is a flap that covers the food dish when you pull it out, but I’ve actually removed that because it covers the food dishes and instead I top up the food and water via the main lid and once a week I place the flap back in place to remove the dish to clean it. The lid has slits for ventilation but only on one side so there is more darkness to hide in on the other side during the day. The base has holes to catch any waste through and a base tray can be removed for easy cleaning. It also comes with a dropper to add water easily, two types of tongs and spare water sponges which is a nice added bonus. The issue I have when it comes to breeding are the fact that it’s almost fully dark all day and night meaning there won’t be a clear day/night cycle which can effect breeding. There’s also no way of adding substrate which causes two issues. Firstly it’s much harder to keep the humidity up to the 40%-60% needed for breeding without a substrate to keep moist. And thirdly the young dubia all seem to prefer to burrow and hide in substrate but in this tub they have no real hiding places other than under other roaches which is going to cause them stress till they’re bigger and feel more safe out in the open. Both those issues though are only going to effect you if you breed, if you don’t then this is a perfectly acceptable way to keep your feeders. It makes life easier and is much easier to get out the ones you need each feed and for that purpose I definitely recommend it. If you breed you may wish to think about some of the issues you could have with it. I’ll likely end up using this more for small hoppers that I don’t breed but buy in every now and then.

Stupid item, makes no sense, badly designed
Better off buying a plastic storage container and drill loads of holes, not a good item, infact save your money and do what I suggested

Nicely made. The sections go together well. A clever design. Handle gives good control.
The whole thing seems well made to me. The plastic mouldings are accurate and very tidy. All the parts mate neatly including the automatically closing door which closes when the feed/water tray is removed. I like the design. The handle is well placed and shaped and gives good control of the vessel. This means that the insects can be shaken down to allow the top to be removed. The top is easy to take off and replace whilst not being over lose. There is a mark to assist wit speedy replacement. The top is not over prone to getting ‘cross threaded’ which helps as you don’t want to hang about. The bottom is similarly easy to get off and on. The ends are not on a single thread with a single start point but located by a number of short sections of thread. This makes the procedure easy and less fussy. Good. The seal (I’d call it a stopper actually) is nicely made and goes in easily but positively. The orifice is large enough to facilitate ‘pouring’ a bug. The handle is placed well to allow this. Three pieces of foam shaped to fit the curved end section of the water/feed tray are supplied. That’s two spare ones before you’ve got to start improvising! It’s an attractive object to look at for what it is. I like the colour scheme. I haven’t tried breaking it but my impression of the plastic of the body is that it doesn’t seem overly brittle yet is adequately rigid. Nice. I hope these opinions and observations are helpful.

Useless
I can't say I'm impressed with this especially given the price. The first complaint would have to be with the lid which is extremely difficult to click back on correctly as there is no mark to indicate where it locks. My second complaint would be that it states this is appropriate for crickets which I disagree upon. Whenever I would try and take the food bowl out to change the H20 balls etc, about 10-15 crickets would also hop out with it! Luckily I did it in the bath so they couldn't jump all over my room. My final complaint would be that, if you use fine bug food such as bottled bug grub to feed your insects, as soon as you shake or tilt the housing unit to feed your reptiles, the food also goes flying around and ends up wasted. It's a good concept but it doesn't work in reality. Don't waste your money and I will be returning mine.

NEPTONION Cricket Keeper - Efficient but Limited Quality
The NEPTONION Professional Cricket Keeper offers a live worm organizer tank with a rubber seal, designed to serve as a habitat for various insects such as silkworms, crickets, Dubia cockroaches, and superworms. On the positive side, the bug dirt management function is a commendable feature, helping maintain cleanliness within the tank. The rubber seal adds to its efficiency in containing the insects, preventing escape. The yellow colour provides a vibrant touch, enhancing the aesthetic appeal. However, the build quality of the keeper is somewhat limited. Some users have reported issues with durability, particularly the tank's plastic components, which may not withstand prolonged use or potential wear and tear. The functionality may be compromised over time. In terms of value for money, the NEPTONION Cricket Keeper is reasonably priced for its intended use. The bug dirt management function adds value for users seeking a convenient solution. While it may not be the most durable option, it serves its purpose as a live worm organizer. Prospective buyers should consider their long-term needs and the potential for wear on the plastic components. Overall, an efficient but modest-quality cricket keeper.

Great livefood keeper
The feeder is well made from really thick strong plastic, I like the colour also. It comes well packaged wrapped in bubble wrap, it’s very easy to set up and has clear instructions to follow, this is much easier than having loads of boxes of live food. I would say it’s more suited for people who use one source of live food as you can't mix different ones together. When I use this, I put crickets in it. There is plenty of space for them to move around in and have walls to climb on, the tub has a grate at the bottom (like a sieve) for easier cleaning as a tray pulls out at the bottom. You can't use the fine feed because of this. It has a handy pull-out tray to put water in, that comes with a few sponges, a pipette, normal Tongs and a bug catcher. A little door closes when you pull out the tray to keep everything in. The container is kind of like a jug, has a handle at the back and an opening at the front that's blocked with a thick plug, which means you don't even have to touch the live insects, just make sure you remove the dead ones so it's easier to clean and keeps the healthy ones alive. his feeder actually keeps the food alive longer than the tubs they come in, it's definitely escape proof and we'll ventilated. Highly recommended.

Fantastic product, great design, effective, and quickly pays for itself!
Solid construction, easy to use and clean, crickets last longer because of the contained humidity - but the foam isn't good, a wet paper towel or two works better (and some gut loading/veggies or fruit), and allows for easier "gut loading" without needing a second holding container. The reduced size is also an asset. Really easy to clean, great design. * a heating pad under helps but keep lots of moisture inside. ** Two months later I have been able to buy a larger amount of crickets now, and gut load them longer. I honestly have not had a single cricket die in it, or get out, and even after a month the cricket smell in my room is gone completely.

Best invention
I am very satisfied with this. I recommend it on Facebook quite often especially when someone is having a persistent that doesn't want to touch bugs. Its perfectly set up with the food/water bowls and you can pull out the food drawer tan pull out the stopper and pour out the bugs. I put a few coffee filters in between the baffles. It's very easy to clean all the droppings fall into a bottom container which twists off to clean easily.

Convenient and easy
We just got a bearded dragon pet and i bought this for 38.99. And we found this really helpful for keeping our crickets. Whether it's feeding or cleaning (and having them not jump out), I found this really helpful and helps to keep them healthy and alive for longer.
