To be frank this is one of the best keyboards I've ever owned, and this is from someone who has played hundreds of hours in games such as World of Warcraft and CS:GO and who has thus gone through keyboards like there's no tomorrow - from cheap brands all the way to the most expensive ones. While I'm certain this isn't a mechanical keyboard, the keys feel very satisfying to the touch and is reminiscent of many high-end laptop keyboards but with the form factor of your typical desktop keyboard.With regards to the keys themselves while they are not as good as injection mould, the laser engraved keys will undoubtedly increase the durability and longevity of the keyboard itself which given the relative affordability of the whole package is well worth the price!The LEDs are very bright too though you can turn this off totally either by using the button on the top left, or by turning down the dial at the top of the keyboard.The mouse on the other hand is TekNet's Raptor mouse which I have owned in the past, and is pretty good at what it does given that it's only an optical mouse and not a laser mouse. For everyday work it's fine, though for gaming you may want to look for one of TekNet's other games-orientated offerings.In conclusion then for just over £22 for both keyboard and mouse, this package is great value for money.

Brought this set to replace an older model that I managed to break and haven’t looked back, the keys feel more mechanical than spongy like the older model.The keyboard has 10 user definable macro keys at the top of the keyboard which come in very handy when playing games with repetitive commands the only downside is they are saved into the keyboard and cannot be defined by profiles by software for different games so if you set M1 as “/home” it will do “/home” in whatever game or application you are running I’m yet to find some software that will override this.The backlight on the keyboard has a great range from off to bright and even with only 3 colours its still colourful.The mouse is a nice size and fits nicely in my big hands the built in leds are not too bright but with no way to turn them off when the pc is in sleep mode the mouse is still lit up like Blackpool illuminations, it has 2 buttons on the side which work as back and forwards buttons in browsers and file explorer and with the dpi button on the top for selecting mouse sensitivity.Both keyboard and mouse have reasonable cable lengths which is nice for larger desks.Overall this set is great value for money both feel very well made and sturdy if your gaming on a budget this is a sure fire win, will definitely be looking at the newer models if this one ever meets an untimely end.

Purchased for my son, but I've had a longish play with it. Let's be clear here: the rating is quality for price. If you are expecting Filco keyboard quality you are going to be disappointed, but then you have spent less than a quarter the cost of a Filco and get a mouse thrown in too...Keyboard action is pretty good for a membrane device. The travel is similar to my Filco, and although the action is obviously not as crisp it is pretty good for a membrane keyboard, and it is very responsive. I was less keen on the mouse (a bit too sensitive for my taste), but my son loves it and assures me that it is great when you get used to it. Clearly built to a price, but the important parts feel pretty solid and I'd give extra marks for nice braided cables.If you want an inexpensive gaming-oriented keyboard and mouse, you are getting a great deal for your money here. This would make a fantastic present for a teen who wants to up their game from a laptop keyboard and standard mouse. If you already have a multi-Graphics card liquid cooled overclocked monster of a PC you're probably better off looking elsewhere
