Best headset I've ever owned
I saw these on sale and thought I'd pick them up and I'm so glad I did as this is the best headset I've ever owned! The audio quality is amazingly crystal clear and the mic sounds perfect compared to my old Turtle Beach headset. I got this headset for my PC and while I own a PS4 I haven't used this headset on my PS4 yet so I can't comment on that although as a PC gaming headset this is the best I've ever owned. It comes with a usb sound card which the mic and audio line plug into which is very, very smart designed as nearly all headsets I've seen and owned just have a usb at the end of the cable and if it ever breaks or you just want to plug your headset into your own soundcard on your PC...Well you can't, so I'm so glad Logitech has designed this headset where you just plug the mic and audio into the usb sound card it's just brilliant design as with all Logitech products from my experience. The mic is very solid and is not removable although you can move it up so it's not in your face when you are not using the mic, which again I really like. There's a clip with a volume up and down scroll wheel on it and a button to turn on and off the mic which is very cool. The cable is very long (unfortunately I don't have anything to measure it with rn but I guesstimate it's about 3m?) the cable is also braided which again scores a lot of points with me as so many headsets I've owned for a similar price tag *cough* TurtleBeach *cough* seem to over look the importance of having a braided cable so well done Logitech, you done good yet again! I use this headset for music, movies, shows and gaming and imo they sound amazing (they didn't at first until I updated the firmware, if you have any issue with mic or sound, update your headsets firmware through the Logitech software!) I've been using these a lot recently for extended periods of time my longest time wearing these was about 5 hours in a long Killing Floor 2 gaming session and honestly at no point did the headset become uncomfortable, I didn't even feel like I was wearing a headset. The ear cups are very big and they go over my ears nicely unlike some headsets where your ear gets squished to the side of your head... Honestly there's nothing I can fault these headphones for, I really love them they look cool, they sound great, they are so comfortable for long gaming sessions or music listening you forget you're wearing a headset. I really like how I can hear my own voice through the headset when I'm talking as I tend to shout when I can't hear myself lol, although if that's not your thing you can easily turn it off no problem. I highly recommend this headset, I'm a big fan there's a lot of thought gone into the design of this headset and it really shows for example the metal instead of plastic on the sliding part of the headset really shows the level of quality that's gone into the design of this headset. I've always bought TurtleBeach headsets and thought they were great but this headset really blows TurtleBeach out of the water, this is why I love Logitech products! TL;DR This headset is good quality, the sound is crystal clear and the mic quality is great, highly recommend 10/10

Great quality surround sound
So I bought this headset for gaming and it did not disappoint. The clarity of sound in games is fantastic and incredibly useful for working out where the sound is coming from. For example when playing Battlefield 4 I could hear every shot fired, from distant sniper fire or close burst of automatic fire I could pinpoint exactly where the shot had come from. This really helps the immersion as you feel every round that whizzes past and every explosion sounds loud and potent. The headset is good quality and constructed well the wire are covered in cloth as opposed to rubber which is nice. the end of the cable splits of into two separate 3.5mm jacks one for the speakers and one for the mic. There is also a usb adapter which you plug the jacks into. If you do not you will not get surround sound and they will function as a pair of stereo headphones. The surround sound is emulated it is achieved by using software which you can download for free off of Logitech's website. It's simple enough to do and the software is easy to use as well. My only complaint is the mic is a bit quiet I have to to really crank up my volume to hear myself in recordings even when raising my voice considerably only helps a little. The headset sound was good for me when not paying games such as listening to youtube videos and music so no problems there but more discerning people might complain it was plenty good enough for my needs. In summary an amazing headset especially for the price only £49.99 by far the cheapest 7.1 surround headset on the market. This is a similar price to most stereo headsets so a definite bargain. Would recommend to anyone looking for a more immersive experience in games or someone just looking for a quality headset on a budget. 5 stars

Nice Headset.
This headset is a good choice for those who play for long periods of time and do not want to become super uncomfortable. Pros ----- - Comfort: These headphones are nice and comfortable even after prolonged use. The cups and the headband are both covered in a blue mesh with a nice cushion to them. They sit around the ear and are naturally noise cancelling due to completely encompassing the ears. The headphones allow for a decent amount of air circulation while they are in use preventing your ears and head getting uncomfortable. - Cable: The cable is extremely long which is great as it will reach where you need it to go, but due to the length it can be in the way. Luckily it comes with a build in cable tie which allows you to fold up the cable to a suitable length. The cable is a blue braided cable which allows for an added layer of protection to the cable prevent it getting damaged as easily and the blue is a fairly nice color. - Microphone: Fair warning, I do not use my microphone an awful lot so I am not an expert on it. The microphone feels good quality and nicely slides up and away when not it use. It does not pick up much background noise which is nice. The sound captured by the microphone is nice and clear and is also fairly loud. - Software: This product comes with a nice piece of software made my Logitech which allows for good configuration of the sound signature of the headset. You have a good equalizer built into the software. You have the choice between Dolby Surround Sound and DTS, Each one comes with its own set of options, I personally use DTS with the First Person Shooter settings as it sounds best to me however this is subjective. - Quality: The Plastic on the headset does not feel super high quality but it also does not feel super cheap. The headset feels like it will last a good amount of time. Cons ---- - Cable: Braided cables on things like headsets can be an issue, If you are a person who does not keep an eye on how you put your headset down and such you can easily end up with a twisted mess of a cable. If you do get the headset just be aware you should keep an eye on the cable and make sure you do not twist the cable around a lot.

The best headset I've owned to date
I don't have much to say about these as they have been my main headset for around 2 years now and they still sound as good as when I bought them. I would recommend them to anyone who was looking for a mid range gaming headset. pros >I am totally impressed with the build quality as I can't count the amount of times I've dropped them on the floor, tripped over the wire, thrown them at the wall. After all this abuse they have just snapped at the back but still works perfectly with a little looser feel. >I listen to music non stop everyday and I absolutely love the sound quality of this headset. It comes with a logitech program that allows you to adjust all of the music settings but I don't tamper with it too much. >Gaming is great on this headset. I play a lot of games that require constant listening and I always hear sounds that others do not and this constantly improves my play (and makes me feel a bit like a superhero who can hear everything) cons >the headset has actually broken at the back but other than being a little looser than before they still work perfectly (this was quite recent and I'm still completely happy with them) >The wire is long as hell which is a blessing and a curse, I can sit across my whole room on the sofa and still listen to music etc. This is a problem with tangling though as my wire is very tangled but not to the point where the wire has shortened but it is annoying at times. This tangling is mostly due to me sitting so close to my desk and not taking much care with the wire as I trip over it constantly. I have recommended this headset to many and will continue to do so.

however the headphones have taken a few knocks over the year and have stayed sturdy, so the build quality doesn't seem to be ...
I've had these headphones for around a year now so I thought it high time to post a long-term review. Construction • The main construction is a black plastic - it does feel lightweight and cheap; however the headphones have taken a few knocks over the year and have stayed sturdy, so the build quality doesn't seem to be an issue. However, they do start to creak after a while and can creak when you're moving your head around - this can get quite irritating. • The cups and headband are sponge with a blue net fabric material. I've generally had no issues with them at all, the cups and band are very comfortable and I've had no trouble with them for longer sessions. • The microphone has a rubber coating and doesn't feel as flimsy as some other headsets I've had in the past. • The cord is long and covered with a blue fabric. It feels very tough and I've again had no problems with it. Doesn't tangle as easily as plastic cord either, so that's another plus. There is an in-line volume and mic control which is unfortunately very poor - the plastic seems to be poor and it doesn't feel like a quality piece of the kit. Sound • Overall, the sound is very good. The surround sound works excellently and the software that comes with the headset seems to work well at boosting the effects. I've certainly had no problems in game with it. • The microphone sound is also decent - voice is of good quality and there is little to no background noise or hiss. I haven't had any issues with the sound dropping out like other reviewers appear to have had. • However, one issue that I have seen a couple of times is the fabric covering on the cord - you can hear it clearly when it rubs against your clothes. Can be quite annoying! • The inline volume control is poor - when changing the volume I've had some issues with the sound not being balanced. I've found that you need to fiddle around with the control a bit before the sound comes back fully in both ears. This is my main gripe with the headset - it feels like they could have spent a tiny bit more money on one little thing which would have improved the overall quality immensely. Conclusions + Good surround sound + Construction overall is on the sturdy side + Plenty of cable length (if you need it) + Comfortable over long periods of time + Microphone is clear and easy to use - Creaking from the plastic can be annoying - Scratchy sound of cable against clothes can also be annoying - Foam/fabric has a tendency to absorb sweat and discolour over time - Really poor quality in-line control can lead to sound dropping in one ear

Fantastic for the price
Hand on heart I'm not a hifi buff who can talk with authority about flattened bass notes in the 7 tachyon range. I just wanted a decent pair of headphones that could hide the external world and give me surround sound for DVD and games. I have a 7.1 sound board and a 5.1 pair of headphones that connect to the soundboard, but the phones were getting a bit rattily and temperamental, a bit like me, but that comes with age. I was a little sceptical as these didn’t use the on board sound card at all, but plugged directly into a USB socket, but at this price I thought I wouldn’t bankrupt myself if they were no good. The phones plugged in and without any other faffing around they just worked. It comes with a little test utility where you can hear the effect of music, film and gameplay as well as hearing each individual speaker. It really does seem to be true 7.1 surround sound and enhances game play something wonderful. I kept turning as I heard enemies behind me. The sound quality sounds excellent to my untrained ear, especially when I’m winin’ to Alison Hinds beats. They are fitted with a mic on a swivel boom, so when not in use you can swivel it out of the way. The cable has a mute switch for the mic for those occasions when a sudden swing of the mouse lands hot coffee in your lap. People have complained that the cable touching the headphones can make a noise as it drags across the surface, which is true but easily avoided with a little bit of cable management. The cable length is generous. If anything a little long, meaning I keep the excess wrapped up in the attached Velcro tie. They enclose my ears completely, providing isolation from the surrounding environment, resulting in one or two cold dinners when I don’t hear Er Indoors calling me. They do have a bit of a plasticy feel to them, but the trade-off for that is they are very light. I don’t experience any discomfort with them, even wearing glasses, and can wear them for longer than it takes for Er Indoors to complain that I’m neglecting her. All in all, I’m very pleased with them.

A decent solution for those seeking surround sound and reliable build quality from a known brand at a reasonable price
Update 12/03/18: if you look in the image at the piece that has "g430" written on it. That part just snapped off a moment ago. No misuse, no throwing this headset around or anything (I look after all my stuff very well). I was slipping the headset off and the piece snapped, leaving my right side speaker unit dangling. Apparently, not as solid as I first believed. reduced to 1 star as a result. I can't recommend something this poorly built. The headset itself is fantastic. Solid plastic build and comfy ear pads that I don't really even notice once on. The cable feels like a soft, supple braiding, which is useful for a reason I'll mention in a moment. It's also very long and comes with a cable wrap so you can make it shorter by folding it back on itself without making a mess, which is an excellent idea. The sound is more than adequate. Music is clear and while gaming it's very easy to tell where noise is coming from, so at this price I really don't have any complaints at all in this department. Unfortunately, I do have a concern and a moan: 1. The USB adapter is not heavy, but certainly noticeable and I'm really not sure how long it's going to last since it causes its short cable to hang while weighted, which is undoubtedly pulling, however gently, on the cable and connection. Not the most amazing design in the world, which is reason 1 I've removed a star. 2. Installing the software and getting the headset to work was a bit of a pain and I had a problem of experiencing reduced volume in one ear bud to the extent that I almost sent it back for a replacement. Luckily, the old trick of completely uninstalling and then reinstalling seemed to solve all the issues and I've haven't encountered one since. I'll certainly update if anything changes, but for now I can recommend this product if you're after a low cost surround headset with a USB connection option. I've also taken into consideration that this is a Logitech headset, which is a brand whose peripherals I've used plenty and have a lot of faith in.

Overall a quality headset, well worth the money
Best headset I have owned so far. Pros Software - The software that you can download from the Logitech website really makes a difference, the equalizer is great for customizing the way the audio is played to you and the surround sound also makes games much more realistic as you can clearly tell which direction sounds are coming from. Microphone - The noise cancellation in the mic can cause your voice to cut off, but all you need to do is either turn up the microphone setting on the software or bend the mic a bit closer to your mouth, either method works fine. Audio quality - Audio quality overall is excellent, I would compare them to be almost as good as my Sony MDR 7506's, the headset is quite loud overall so they are fine for gaming and listening to music, and pretty much anything else. USB adapter - You get the choice between plugging the headset and microphone cables directly into your computer, or putting them into the USB adapter which i think has built in 7.1, its like a mini sound card. I think this is an amazing feature that all headsets should have, but don't. Sleek design - Love the design! Looks very clean. Long cable I have also not had any problems with the wire making noise on clothes or the ear cups when wearing the headset for longer periods of time Cons Not much to report other than Build quality - doesn't feel cheap but it wont survive a call of duty rage session. Noise - When you put the volume on the headset all the way up a tiny amount of noise is audible, not a problem for me.# It also seems that sometimes if there are too many sounds playing at once in a game the audio cuts out? Happened to me once or twice.

Very good quality
It worths the money, and working properly with high quality finishing and sound, you may get better quality but you will have to pay at least 200 aed more, so if you have a limited budget and looking for a gaming headset, this is your best option

A favor: - Aspecto bonito y bien acabado.
