Accurate PH value Testing Method
I found these PH testing drops to be a very useful indicator about the PH value of my tap water and that my water filter does increase the PH Alkalinity, This item is fantastic value for money as you get 3 bottles which will last along time depending on how many times you want to carry out testing, I do wish you could buy One Bottle as this would of-course reduce the costs, One reviewer returned this product due to it not dispensing any drops, you do need to cut the top of the tube to be able to use it, One reviewer pointed this out, as the instructions do not state this + really it should, The reason you have to cut the top of the tube off is to prevent any leakages in posting + to show that it's a brand new item, PH drops are more accurate than testing strips as these are really to test Sylvia and Urine levels not water, However if you need very accurate PH readings then you require a PH digital meter pen etc, However alot of these products have a wide range of readings and you need to pay over £50 for a reliable readingsSo if you just want to get a very good idea what you're water's PH value is I would highly recommend this product

Great product as reasonable price, what’s not to love!
So easy to use, with very clear results. As you only use 3 drops per test, I can see the three bottles lasting a long time too which is great value. I’ve taken a photo to demonstrate, so you can see the difference. The top bowl is our normal water from the tap which comes in a PH 8. (We are quite lucky to live in a naturally high PH water area however would not normally drink plain tap water because of the added chemicals). The bowl on the left is Brita filtered water which is more acidic and comes in at PH 4. Finally the bowl on the right is from my new Alkaline Water Jug which comes in the clear winner at PH 9-10. I am so happy with this product and would highly recommend it. 👍🏻

Good value but there are issues
This item arrived in good condition, however the 3 bottles that should’ve contained 10ml of liquid each had differing amounts. Additionally the expiry date was June 2023 which had obviously elapsed. I’m not sure if this would’ve actually made a difference to the performance of the product, however I decided to return the item.I ordered another one in the hope that the original item was just a one off issue. When the new item arrived I was pleased to see that all 3 bottles contained the same amount of liquid (which looked more like 10ml) but unfortunately the expiry date was still the same as the original item June 2023 and is probably from the same batch.I’ve decided to keep the second item regardless of the expiry date, as I’m hoping this won’t make a difference to the performance of the kit.Should you purchase this item?I think it represents good value for money but should have an expiry date that is in the future opposed to the past. If this is an issue for you then don’t buy this…. however if it’s not then l think this might be worth considering.

Testing the water we drink is SO important
My wife has a condition in which she reacts to lots of foods and drinks - it can cause pain pretty quickly. We were religiously making sure that the water we drank was filtered, using a very well known brand of water filter, thinking that it would remove anything nasty that would irritate my wife and cause pain. But she had been struggling with pain for months, in spite of eating well. I had a hunch that I should test the filtered water that my wife was drinking, so sent for this testing kit. It is really easy to use - just put a couple of drops into about 50ml of water and it turns one colour or another depending on its acidity or alkalinity. The water that came straight out of our tap was perfect - just on the alkaline side of neutral. I filtered some of that same water through the filter that we've been using, and oh my goodness, filtration has turned it acid. Not just a little acid either but ph 4. Who would have thought it. This is almost certainly the reason for months of pain for my wife, so we'll just give her tap water now! For the rest of us, it's not good to drink acid water either - it can cause internal inflammation over long periods, which, it's thought, can cause all sorts of nasty problems later. A terrific little kit!

Reasonably accurate broad range pH test kit
This test involves comparing the colour of 50ml of water after 2-3 drops of re-agent have been added against a scale of colours printed on the enclosed instructions. The test measures the pH as 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 8.5 9 10 11. The difference between 8.5, 9 and 10 is rather difficult to resolve. The difference between 7 and 8 is also hard to determine unless a light is shone onto the scale. I would regard this as a broad, rough pH test, which is OK if that is all that is required. By comparison, most pH tests for aquarium water (which will test any water) are typically available in low and high range versions, one testing ph 4 to 7 and the other testing 7 to 10 respectively. This approach provides much improved accuracy, measuring whole values as well as + or minus 0.5 of a value. That said, without damning the product for for not being something it is not pretending to be, this is a reasonably reliable broad range pH test kit subject to the stated difficulty in distinguishing between certain of the colours. Please note that end of the nozzle of each bottle has to be trimmed down before any liquid will come out.

Clear instructions on usage and how to use.
There was a small amount of the fluid around the nozzle and inside of the lid, possibly occuring during transit. The seal was not broken though so I wasn't worried about tampering.Easy to add drops to the bottled water that I wanted to test for it's ph balance as I currently have gastritis along with lactose and dairy intolerance and am concerned about acidity and alkaline in whatever I consume. To my delight the water turned a lovely blue which I was able to compare with the chart provided. My water is 8 alkaline.I will be using this product to test other liquids that I consume regularly, particularly those that contain sweeteners.

Tricks muss man eben kennen! Was habe ich gelernt? Was nun?
