It's Røde!!
If you want quality, there are some brands you can rely on. Rode is one of them. This is just well made and functional. The screw mount is a perfect fit for my Procaster mic, and it holds it securely without any shake or knock going through. Only tiny gripe is the bottom wing nut is a bit small and hard to tighten, but once tight, it doesn't let go. Other mounts can end up with you watching your mic slowly wilt in front of you.

Good quality microphone shock mount
Like all Rode products I've used the psm1 shock mount is well built and does the job well. If you've bought a Rode microphone I wouldn't recommend using a cheap shock mount. Instead, consider getting yourself a Rode boom arm and Rode shock mount to go with it as they're sturdy and will take the weight. I can't recommend it for other brands of mics although I have heard of others using this with Yeti mics and Audio Technica mics. You'll find reviews on YouTube if you need to see if it's compatible with your microphone. Also, if your mic hasn't got a built-in pop filter I'd recommend buying the Rode SM6 instead of this as it comes with a pop filter. I use this with the RØDE Podcaster microphone and the RØDE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm.

Great for NT-USB
Most of the product is made of metal which means it should last a long time, the shock absorbing strings are think and feel pretty strong and shouldn't break anytime soon, overall its a good solid product. Currently using with my Rode NT-USB There are restrictions with the microphones functionality when in the shock mount and the headphone input is restricted however this can be solved by rotating the microphone but its still quite fiddly, though i dont use the microphone as my audio interface so its perfect! Great stand and a good quality company

Great product
the suspension kit means you can move the mic whilst recording and the noise through to the mic is eliminated (or nearly eliminated). Also noises from the table (such as putting down your tea), are also eliminated. This product is sturdy and well built, easy to fit (it took just a few seconds to screw the mic into the socket), and should last for years and years...

Good mount. NT USB filter incompatible.
Nice enough and cheap enough BUT it is not entirely compatible with the OEM pop filter/shield that comes with the Rode NT. It can fit - just about - but the filter makes contact with the outer cradle of the mount. This kind of makes the isolation of the mic void as the filter bridges the gap between the surfaces and can potentially transmit vibration (just don't smack your desk :)). Only purchased this because amazon put it in a bundle that was recommended. I should have checked to be fair but its worth considering. The mount works just fine without the filter though.

Fantastic for Rode Microphones
Great shock mount for any RODE Microphone. Seems to absorb pretty much all of the shock and leave you with a tap instead. Used to have a Blue Yeti Microphone and upgraded to a RODE NT1 (which is now in the PSM1 Shock Mount) and before having it in the shock mount, a tap on my desk would send a boom down the microphone, now a tap on the desk sends a tap through the microphone - VERY noticeable difference. A*

works exactly as it is supposed to
shock mount works perfectly as it is supposed to. true there are some compatibility problems with the NT USB but it only stops you from using the dials and the 3.5 headphone jack but even then you can angle it so you can use them.

Does what it's supposed to
Easy to mount, has substantially reduced bumps and random noise in recordings. Despite the weight of the mic, it holds it at an angle very well.

High quality and great mic compatibility
This shock mount is sooooo much better than the other cheap one I have. Also, although I bought it for my Procaster, it works perfectly with my Rode NT1 condenser mic from the late 90's.
