51795 Original Liquid Car Wax Hard Shell Shine 500ml

Product goes on easy and you have a decent amount of time to buff it off even in hot weather. It’s light blue and dries white so easy to see where you have put it and whether you’ve missed any, on or off, so you will be streak-free unless like me, you go back a day later and realise you forgot to buff it off on a low sill… Gives a good shine and a shell over the paintwork that will see water run off faster. Regular reapplications are necessary to maintain this however, even as a low mileage driver I would say I would need to apply this every 1 to 2 months to keep the shine and water resistance. So perhaps not as affective as a true wax but a lot easier to work with. This is not a scratch removal product.

Turtlewax liquid original is easy to use put some on a damp cloth rub on allow to dry and buff off. As some people say it *will* stain black plastic/trim whitish-green. But that's easily cleaned up with a damp cloth or even some trim conditioner (what I used), if really stubborn a clay bar will clean it up nicely. Personally I prefer the finish left by AutoGlym super resin polish but I certainly will use and enjoy the rest of this bottle. This is a proper wax and applies a protective shiny coat to your paint work while SRP has some filler qualities and will help remove imperfections in your car's coat without actually doing any/much polishing. So I suspect depending on the quality of you paint job, if it undamaged by automatic car washes, this is for you. My favourite wax is Simonix Original but that is significantly more work to apply.

Turtle Wax is a car wax polish I have used on my cars for years. It is easy to use and gives great protection and shine. I find that it is best used on a small patch at a time and when finished to give the car a final polish with new dusters. It is excellent value for money. Highly recommened.

I have spent likely thousands over time having my cars detailed. Don’t get be wrong, the results are stunning but I got an old runabout recently and gave it wash and clay barred it. Then I bought this Turtle Wax and put on two coats. Genuinely I can’t see any difference in shine and feel as to the far far faaaar costlier products my Detailer has been using on my other vehicles. It’s a thick creamy polish and is ‘old school’ let it dry to a form a film and then polish it off. I used an automatic polisher to save myself some effort. Then I repeated this and the result is beautiful. Okay, it’s no ceramic coating and won’t last on its own, but if you did this every ten to fourteen days I’m sure it would hold up well and protect the paint from UV damage and pop in the sunlight.

Good results, but don’t apply when it’s too hot otherwise it’s very difficult to polish off. I tend to apply with a damp microfibre cloth and then polish off with a clean dry one. It’s not a miracle product, and like all the others will last a few washes before you need to do it again.

Ho aspettato due settimane prima di poter recensire questo acquisto. Innanzitutto ho acquistato direttamente da Amazon per cui, come al solito e con gran piacere, la spedizione è arrivata in anticipo con corriere. Non avevo mai sentito parlare di questo marchio americano "Turtle Wax" anche perché non l' ho mai visto esposto sugli scaffali dei negozi. Dopo un paio di ricerche su internet ho visto che il marchio è abbastanza conosciuto ed i suoi prodotti molto consigliati. Amazon quindi è stata capace di fornirmi un prodotto che definirei quasi "esclusivo". Dunque, poco più di due settimane fa ho passato la cera sulla carrozzeria dell'automobile così come scritto nelle istruzioni (in inglese) sulla etichetta: la cera (non più di una noce per ogni lato dell' auto) va applicata su carrozzeria completamentamente asciutta con un panno in microfibra disegnando energicamente dei cerchi sino a che la superficie non diventa lucida e liscia (per applicarla ci vuole un po' di pazienza). Risultato perfetto, lucente, un profumo gradevolissimo, idrorepellente. La cera dunque ha protetto la carrozzeria della mia Golf per quasi un mese e l' effetto liscio però va scomparendo (premetto che l auto viene riposta in garage per cui non è rimasta esposta ad agenti atmosferici o raggi del sole). Posso consigliare la cera a tutti coloro che hanno una auto soggetta particolarmente a sostanze che possano danneggiare carrozzeria e colori come per esempio la resina degli alberi e gli escrementi di uccelli che sono molto corrosivi. Devo dire però che questa è la prima volta che applico una cera sulla carrozzeria per cui non posso paragonarla ad altre ma nel complesso mi ha lasciato davvero molto soddisfatto. Appena l' avrò finita ne acquisterò un'altra confezione.

Ich persönlich kann dazu nichts sagen, aber mein Mann schwört auf dieses Mittel und das seit 40 Jahren. Er verendet es im Frühjahr und Herbst um den Lack zu versiegeln. Unsere Autos sind immer gut gepflegt und das sieht man.
