The best coffee beans I’ve had in a long time!
These are legitimately 5 star coffee beans! Now I’ve had them I won’t be switching anytime soon.I am used to spending around £17-18 for 1kg of coffee beans anyways, but for a slight increase of a few pounds the increase in quality is so noticeable! These beans are perfect if you want your coffee to give you more oomph without the jitters you get from cheaper caffeine.Worth every penny, they grind easy, they smell just right and taste amazing!

Fresh and full of flavor
Finally a coffee that tastes like coffee. I have been trying many different brandsAnd many were either not fresh enough to get the most out of the beans. These have an oily look and seam very fresh they produce a rich crema with a powerful taste. For those who like that kick these are great

Lovely tasting coffee and great value.
Update 4: So my latest batch of this coffee (ordered April-22) was roasted Nov-21. It tastes OK, but not too happy about the dates as this is in no way classed as "Freshly roasted" by anyone's standards! Dropping 1 star simply because of this.Update 3: so I’ve now tried a few different beans and simply cannot find anything that performs as consistently as this. It is excellent coffee. I’ve also updated how I make mine where it’s 2 heaped tablespoons per mug. Frothing the milk I no longer cold froth first, just go straight for hot froth. Also don’t add the sugar to the milk, add it to the cup, pour the coffee on, stir it and add in the frothed milk. Perfect 👍Update 2: so tried the 4 bean sample pack and while the coffee was nice, I still prefer this overall so will be sticking with this from now on, great coffee.Update: so I’ve now tried one that was the highest ranking/most popular on Amazon at time of purchase (Lavazza Rosso) which is cheaper, and it is not a patch on this. Taste is so subjective I fully appreciate that and don’t get me wrong, the Lavazza is OK, this however is just a different level. For me anyway. I’ve since purchased the 4 bean sample pack from spillers just to see if their signature blend is indeed the best of the lot. Will report back.Original review:This has been my first venture into doing my own bean coffee at home after this lockdown kicked in and after a few trial and errors and some tweaks, I think I’ve got it sussed for my liking. Either that or I’m just getting used to it.I don’t have scales (yet) so I’m using tablespoons to try and measure out 3 level spoon fulls into a blender. I grind the beans in the blender (NutriBullet with milling blade) for 7-8 seconds which gives a medium fine grind.I pre-heat the french press then pour all the grinds in to the press and just less than half full it with water that’s off boil (about 90°) and stir and leave for 3-4 minutes. On to the milk, I pour about 250ml of milk into a frother, add 2 sugars and cold froth the milk twice then hot froth it.I then pour a generous amount of the coffee into the bottom of the mug and layer on the frothed milk and I end up with a big mug of something between a latte and a cappuccino and it’s fab

If you purchase these you are guaranteed to to enjoy a good cup of coffee every time.
A beautiful blend of beans which are now our family’s favourite. So much so that we do not purchase any other varieties as doing so has only led to disappointment compared to these.

Best coffee by far!
Been searching for a lovely coffee for some time. This is the best by far. Smooth, dark but with a caramel taste. No bitterness at all. I’ve set up a subscription now, this is the coffee we will be sticking to from now on.

Decent but bland
My father and I are huge coffee drinkers; as the coffee selection where we live(Ireland) can be described as poor at best I have resorted to buying beans online. This is the third batch I have bought, when they arrived with my brand new grinder I immediately opened them and poured them into my airtight 500g then poured most of what was left into the grind hopper. They were so fresh there was still oil visible on the shells, a little damp; which was very nice to see. The smell is best described as toasted sweet oat biscuits; pleasant if a little plane. When it comes to taste (compared to Kenyan Blue Mountain I previously had) from the flat white and espresso I have had so far and my fathers cappuccino we have found it a little unimposing. Do not get me wrong, for the price it is amazing(£7-8 cheaper) and the taste is still good I simply prefer mine more sour than sweet.Update: Full bag has been used in various way's and the final conclusion is that this blend tries to do too many things and whilst the price is good and the kick strong it is ultimately bland.

Exactly what I asked for.
Gorgeous coffee! For those who want a real coffee bean flavour but don’t want the bitter taste of some roasted beans. This blend is smooth and creamy, almost sweet but without the sickly sweet flavour of sugar.I contacted their customer service team, who answered promptly advising this blend might suit my preference. It’s better than I expected!Super economical, I bought a kilo bag of the beans and just pop them in the grinder as needed, so always fresh. Use a cafetiere, but they are fine for other methods too. This blend also worked well for my iced coffees during the heatwave. I keep the beans in a ziplock bag in the fridge. I will be buying this from now on and ditching my old instant coffee habit for good. Does not compare!Heartily recommend.

Bitter and over-roasted. Don't be fooled by the posh sounding brand name.
Unpleasant. Way over-roasted (this is not a medium/dark, it is dark/dark) and the beans are super oily. Very bitter even in milkies - no hint of the promised "almonds and demerara sugar" (and yes, I have dialled them in as best I can). There is no 'roasted on' date on the pack, so no idea how fresh the beans are. I'd rather have most supermarket brands than buy this again. Signature blend? Maybe I got a bad batch. Maybe standards have slipped since the "awards" were given. Either way, I am exceedingly disappointed.

Wirklich sehr guter Kaffee!
