I don't know the answer to your question, but if its of any use to you I used the bend to duct the hot air from my tumble dryer to the outside .

Hello, yes I have connected the elbow to my extractor fan and the other end to the hose. Having viewed the dust hood I have noticed that you would need to also purchase either a 4 inch / 100mm Round Back-draught Shutter / Ducting Connector with Non-Return Damper Flap or a 4 inch / 100mm Round Ducting Connector - Pipe Connector Joint this would be for the hose to connect onto the big horn 11401 dust hood. Lastly or a complete sealed unit using jubilee clips. Hope this answers your question.
